He is…half my age, my son’s friend, and he calls me Daddy. I brought him to his knees until he did the same to me.“He was like a greedy little puppy, trying to please me. And goddamn, I needed him to need me.”From the authors of “Meik&Sebastian – Obsessed” comes a May/December Romance with a sprinkle of Daddy Kink. After their first encounter in “Take it All”, Lost and Found explores how Dave … and Found explores how Dave and Carter’s relationship took root and blossomed.
As a standalone novella, Lost and Found features explicit adult m/m content, Daddy Kink, age gap as well as romantic elements. The book ends…well, let’s see how it ends, shall we?

I had so many mixed feeling while reading this book that took me some time to write this review. Dave and Carter start hot and heavy, a steamy encounter that leads to some scorching and great sex. Some buttons are hit, some kinks discovered and a hell of a good time.
But then… comes real life. And I couldn’t help to think that despite all the good intentions, Dave was a little coward. It had to be in his terms, his way… I kind of expected a more mature Dave while facing his feelings and deciding to go for what he wants. The whole daddy/boy dinamics was really hot (like all this amazing authors write) and definately makes you keep reading until the end. Without much spoilers, I’m glad for the way the story followed its course, and that bittersweet feeling in the end totally won me over.
As for the bonus chapter on Quin&Perin’s secret dungeon: LOVE. LOVE LOVE!!!!!!
Another 5 stars for me. Definately worth a reread!
In the novella Lost and Found authors Quin and Perin pick up one couple’s tale after they get together in Take it All. While not a prerequisite, reading Take it All first does provide a nice setup for the characters, and the authors make it easy by including the story at the end of this one.
From the moment I met Dave and Carter I hoped these two could have a future. Their initial seduction in Take it All is hot as hell. You know how it goes: Dave’s consumed by lustful fantasies of his son’s best friend, and Carter is such a naughty boy… oh, it’s delicious!
When we catch up with Dave and Carter two years later in Lost and Found, things have started to get real. Carter wants more and Dave’s falling apart. I had no idea how the authors were going to make this work. Trust me, stick it out because the ride is amazing.
Without going into details and spoiling the story, I’ll just say everything changes as Dave starts to unravel. I absolutely love how deep into his psyche Quin and Perin take us, how intimately they explore his reasonings and his emotions. Dave’s journey is artfully done and surpasses anything I could have dreamed up for this man.
Not only is Lost and Found a great Daddy/boy romance, it’s an excellent love story. The imagery the authors use to describe some of the most ordinary things took my breath away; and the amazing dirty talk and awesome phone sex scenes almost steal the show. Lost and Found is beautifully written, and one heck of a great read!
This is one of those books that leaves you wanting more. It’s one of those “I can’t read anything else because it’s stuck in my head” books. I devoured Lost and Found in less than a day. I absolutely loved it. Dave is such a caring Daddy to Carter and it just broke my heart when they struggled. This book is so good it’s impossible not to be emotionally invested in the characters. So much so, that I cried with happiness when they got their HEA. It was sweet and tender and hot. You just have to read it
just love daddy kink!! These 2 are so sexy! Is it wrong that I like the fact that Carter is his son’s friend? Love the forbidden portion so much!!
*5 glorious shining stars
Oh.my.freaking.god… this.. this high speed rollercoaster cracked and pulverized my heart totally. I freaking cried my eyes out.
It started perfect… a beautiful, secret, hot kinky Daddy/boy relationship.
Dave had lust full eyes for Carter, his son’s best friend.
Carter, sweet horny and playful boy… he only had eyes for Dave.
With a gap of twenty years Dave wants to be a perfect Daddy… and nothing more… he can’t…. just can’t be more. Carter wants more…
Omg oh my heart… it cracked more than once. Beside a lot of sexy hot and horny encounters there is much more…
I loved Carter period…best boy ever, exactly what Daddy desired… vice versa… Dave was what Carter loved, wanted and needed. (may I smack Dave ?)
Wonderful, high speed fast paced, written story. I adored both men. Lovable in a way you want to squeeze them hard and kiss them all over. Feelings all over the floor, it will make you speechless, it will make you horny, it will make you cry, it will crack your heart and it will make you delirious. Anyway… it did all this to me!!
My greedy heart wanted more.more.more
Highly recommended!!

I have to say that I really enjoyed this book. I loved the whole daddy thing. I love a story with an age gap because we get to see what is going on in their minds. This was no different but I will say there was one thing I did not like but I kept reading and I am glad I did.
Dave and Carter make such a great couple because they compliment each other. Carter is young and naive at times but he knows he loves Dave and wants to be his. They have to hide the relationship at first because Carter is Dave’s son’s best friend but when everything came out and came together all was well.
There were times when i laughed and times when I cried but this roller coaster story kept me on my toes and I loved that about this story. Carter really surprised me with the love and passion he has at such a young age.
Quinn and Perin have delivered an interesting novella that kept me engaged. It wasn’t nearly as erotic as I had thought it would be, especially in response to their beginning statement. However, it does deliver on an unexpected emotional plot that really resonated.
The character development was well done for a novella. I appreciated that the authors made sure characters had flaws. It’s told only from one POV but that actually worked. It kept the tension high and the authors were still able to convey the chemistry between the two main characters. There is one spot of violence that while I felt the authors handled it well enough, I feel could have been addressed better. The world building was solid. It was possible to imagine the scenes and pulled me in.
The storyline itself really sold me. I would have preferred it to be a full-length novel as I feel the authors could do so much with this story. However, the fact it was able to draw an emotional response really made it shine.
There were a couple things I felt could have been done better. One is while I appreciated the explanation of Daddy kink; it did become a little repetitive. The second issue is the order of how the novella was laid out. I think it would have been more effective with some different positioning. I strongly suggest reading the “How it started” located at the end of book first. While I’m not sure why the authors put it there, I think it would have been more engaging at the beginning.
I deducted half a star for repetition on the explanation of Daddy kink and half a star for not delivering as much on the erotic promise. I do believe that would have been fixed with placing “How it started” at the beginning.
4 stars for a beautiful and emotional plot.
This novella is beautifully written. Carter and Dave are two characters you can truly picture and relate to. Loved it
Lost and Found is the first book by Quin and Perin I have read, but it definitely won’t be the last.
Dave is the ‘Daddy’ in this relationship. He has feelings for Carter, and Carter needs him. For reasons I don’t quite understand, he pulls back from Carter when Carter mentions feelings. Carter is the ‘boy’ and falls hard for Dave, but is mature enough to take a step back when he puts himself first.
This may only be classed as a novella, but there is one helluva story packed tightly between these pages. I was gripped from the very beginning, especially as Dave and Carter seemed to fall into their relationship so easily. Of course, it all had to go wrong somehow, and I’m not surprised with how it did. I understand that because of this, Dave might not be the most popular character, but I rather liked him. He is human, and makes mistakes. He has thoughts about what himself and what others might think, which for me, was completely understandable. I loved that once he got over being a jackass, he put Carter first, even though it broke his heart.
Did I get my happy ending? Well, I’ll leave that for you to read and find out for yourself. What I will say is that I don’t think I’ve had my fill of Dave and Carter, not at all. I loved this exceedingly well written story, that had no editing or grammatical errors to spoil my reading. With well-rounded out characters, and a storyline that intrigues, I have no hesitation in recommending this great story.

Archaeolibrarian – I Dig Good Books!
This May/December story that we got a sneak peek to the explosive first time in Take it All is hot. Loved the writing, loved the steaminess and the gritty characters and May/December and daddy kink combined…what more do you need!
This is a stand-alone novella with lots of emotion, drama and steam. Dave and Carter are great characters and definitely deserved their own story. The chemistry is off the charts hot and intense. This May/December romance that involves a little daddy kink will draw in in from beginning to end. I loved it!
I read about the start of Dave & Carter’s connection in the Take it All collection, and that left me woefully unprepared for all the big feels in this book! Why am I even still surprised by how these authors can wreak havoc on their characters’ hearts (in the very best way), and by extension those of the readers?!
This story was so unexpectedly moving! And super intense, in perfect Quin Perin style!
Dave is so in denial of his feelings. Like a child playing hide and seek by closing his hands over his eyes, he seems to think he can stop himself from falling in love simply by willing it so and pretending lust is the only thing Carter and he share between them. If you only repeat it enough times Dave, then it must come true… NOT.
Dave and Carter don’t have it easy, and there were several times when things looked very bleak for their relationship. Mostly because of Dave, not exactly a man in touch with his feelings, and no stranger to errors in judgment, however well intended he is. But perhaps they needed that rocky road to better appreciate what they found in each other. And to make it all the more satisfying when they finally get their happy ending.
I loved how this story was written, the pacing and build-up with the occasional flashback, the wording… Everything.
This is a Quin & Perin story, so the passion is also most certainly there and the dirty talk is off the charts. Bonus points!
I loved the glimpses we got of Charlie, can’t wait to see more of him!
When I first read the short with Carter and Dave (Take It All) I knew I needed more. Like a lot more. Thankfully Quin& Perin like to deliver to their readers, and deliver they did! Holy hotness Daddy! Everyone should have a Daddy like Dave, but until they do they can read about it. I loved Carter and Dave’s Daddy/Boy dynamic. While different, it certainly didn’t take away from the intensity of their relationship. Intense is a really great way to describe it and heartfelt. It takes a lot to get me to cry and it legit got very semi ugly cry over here. This was a great story and I devoured it. Now that I think back in it, I could certainly do with more. Like maybe a short down the road…. please?
