How did I end up accidentally married to this arrogant jerk? My memory is a bit hazy, maybe you can tell me… charmer of my teenage fantasies.
He’s ruggedly handsome, hot as sin, and knows exactly how to drive me wild.
I can’t control myself around him.
If only I’d listened to reason.
Now, I’m knocked up and married to this domineering billionaire.
Can you tell me how we ended up here?

This is a beautiful second chance story that I enjoyed reading with a marriage, baby, gorgeous man, crazy ex, intrigue, and hea. What else can you ask for?

4 and a bit stars
This romance had some steam, lots of bonding moments, and the ability to easily hold my interest to the sunkissed ending after an initial bumpy start. The story has everything in it and, consequently, it was a long read for a romance.
There’s an old mystery to solve, a disgruntled ex to confront, romance to rekindle, a fake wedding, an unexpected consequence of the fake wedding, quant island life, a totally hyper BFF to calm, …. So much, I can’t go on. I could have enjoyed the story just as well with less, well, just less!
Emma, the heroine, is a broken woman at the story’s beginning. In fact, I did not like her much because she just seemed so snarky and angry. But she mellows after settling back into life in her small hometown so you have to read past the first few chapters to dispel some of the cloud hanging over her outlook.
Grant, the filthy rich, privileged hero, knows how to make the grand gestures but he also seems ready to compartmentalize his all-important and lucrative business from his life with Emma. Not sure that I liked his ability to leave Emma to cope on her own for weeks at a time and his treatment of Emma when they were teens seemed calculated and cold. Has he really reformed? No spoiler here!
Judy, Emma’s BFF and fellow teacher, was a bright spot whenever she appeared, and the ancient love story Grant and Emma uncover very sad and touching. All in all, many good plot threads and some fun characters but a bit too long.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
An amazing Hallmark type romance. It is well written with heartache, laughs, craziness, psycho ex, drama, mystery, slow burning love, romance and passion making for an entertaining page turning storyline. The characters were likeable and a romantic fun ride as Emma and Grant get there dreams fufuilled despite all the twists and turns. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC
A great sweet story. There are a lot of side stories that go on in this story. But they each get resolved in the end. It didn’t really end the way I would have liked. But you still get a cute ending that will make you smile.
This book is set over several years from the couple starting out as teenagers to young adults to present day. It makes for an interesting read to give you all the back story and builds the characters up brilliantly.
I love Judy’s character, she seems bouncy and a little off the wall but she brings a fun element to the book.
It’s an amazing book, lots going on and it all comes together in the end.
