When it comes to Debra Webb you cannot go wrong with any of her books I really like the storyline and the one who characters that made you feel like you were part of the story. Travel on the story with Cece and deacon try to catch a killer and see if relationship can survive the ultimate test.
Deb Webb delivers another suspense thriller based in Winchester, Tennessee. The characters are realistic and the story keeps you in suspense until the very end.
I love it when stories tie together charatures. This story takes place in Winchester TN. Debra Webb has written many books on a few different families living in that town. As always the stories are filled with excellent charatures who endure all sorts of family drama.
This story involves Cecelia Winters who was convicted of murdering her father at 18 and sentenced to 8 years in prison. After serving her time Cece comes back to town to accomplish only one mission. To find out who really killed her father and clear her name. To Cece her father was evil. To his followers he was revered or feared. After his death her older brother Marcus took over where her father left off as the new leader of what they called their church. Her younger sister has shunned her and her younger brother is strangely missing.
Cece is trying to resume a normal life while she plans her strategy. However, she first has to deal with attempts to stone her, burn her house down, and being physically threatened by an old boyfriend. When a stranger who now lives next door, Decon, steps in to save her.
However, Decon isn’t who he says he is and may have an ulterior motive for saving her.
Can she trust Decon or is he just as duplicitous as her brother and sister who lied sending Cecilia to prison.
Thank you NetGalley and Debra Webb for allowing me to read this ARC. This is my honest opinion great book!

How horrible to be convicted of a crime you didn’t do. Cecelia Winters is faced with this and when she returns to Winchester, Tennessee and many do not welcome her back. She is saved by her new neighbor, Deacon Ross, from an attack. Does he have an ulterior motive?
Fast pace action that has you not wanting to put it down until the very end.
Another great book by Debra Webb. I am so glad I found her again!!!!
Cece spent 8 years in prison for a crime she claims she didn’t commit. So, of course, once her time is up she is out to get justice and prove her innocence. Little does she know, Deacon the good looking FBI agent neighbor isn’t so sure, thus he plans to stay close.
This book is action packed, with great characters (some you may have encountered in previous books), and some family members you might not really like. There are unexpected twists and turns and an ending you won’t see coming.
Where are you Levi??? Can’t wait to read the next book to hopefully find out.
I was given a copy of this awesome book by the author for an honest opinion.
#DebraWebb #Cece #Deacon #4stars
This book had twists and turns I never expected it to end the way it did. I was rooting for Cece the whole time Deacon my feelings for him are up in the air he was good to her but for the wrong reasons with that being said it helped weave a more believable tale, I cant wait to read the next one and find out what happened to Levi.
Cece Winters has spent 8 years in prison, accused of killing her Father, a crime she didn’t commit. Deacon Ross is on a mission to find out what happened to his partner 8 years ago. This is a fast paced page turner that has a great set of characters that intertwine with characters from the other Winchester, Tennessee Thriller books. Another great book in this series!
After spending time in prison all Cece wanted was the truth. What length will she go to find the truth. Can she really trust the new neighbor next door or is he someone that wants to see her pay. Full of mystery and twists. Lots of surprises. Loved this book. The pages kept turning faster. Some of the characters are from other books related to the Winchester communities. I love how it all ties together. Can’t wait to get the rest of a Debra’s books to see how all these characters lives blend in together in Winchester. She is an amazing author. You will love her writing. Her story telling are superb!!

While in jail her grandmother passed away and left her the house they lived in together. Not everyone in town is happy to see her, especially the members of her family that less than respectable human beings. Fortunately she has a handsome new neighbor that seems to appear every time there’s trouble. But, is there some hidden reason why this neighbor is so kind to her? The neighbor is a FBI agent that is on leave looking for his mentor that disappeared around the same time CeCe went to prison. Are the two things connected?
Debra Webb writing grabs you on the first page and keeps you going until the very end! I personally can’t wait to read the next book in the Whiskey, TN series.
I really enjoyed this book and I hope people will take the time to read the series because it is very good.
Winchester, Tennessee another fabulous book that keeps you going until the very last page. Cece Winters is charged with murdering her own father when she didn’t do it. She spends eight years in prison. Her brother Levi was suppose to pick her up but didn’t. So her one thing is to find out what really happened and who killed her father. She get the court case files from her Attorney and finds others out.She meets her new neighbor who is very helpful since she has been back. But comes to introduces himself to her and he is a very helpful neighbor. That gets way to close with this case and her. It is very difficult for her to believe all the things that was not investigated at the time of the murder nine years ago. Here the Sheriff Colt Tanner is willing help her find answers to who set her up. She is determined to find the answers. It is well written. Has its twisted and turns so you don’t get lost. The description is awesome I could see myself there in the book as I was reading it. You have to go buy this book it is a very fabulous book.
The Stranger Next Door is the third book set in the Winchester, Tennessee series by Debra Webb. This book begins with Cecelia Winters who returns home after being in prison for nine years for killing her father; a crime she did not commit, and she is determined to find the truth. She wants to clear her name and see that the murderer is brought to justice.
Her father was a brutal man that demanded obedience to him and his beliefs from everyone but especially from his children and wife. Cece resisted and their fights were very well known, so when she was found covered in his blood after finding his body, nobody looked any further for his murderer. Her father was the leader of his church and was revered or feared by his members. After his death Cece’s older brother, Marcus, took over where her father left off as the new leader. He hates her and her young sister Sierra has shunned her and her younger brother, Levi is missing. Levi had visited her in prison and had promised to pick her up when she was released; he didn’t show up.
The town has turned against her and makes several attempts to harm her. The stranger who lives next door steps in and helps her deal with them. But Special Agent Deacon Ross has his own agenda for befriending Cece; he wants to find out what happened to his friend Jack Kemp who went missing the same time that her father was killed. She wonders is Deacon truly out to help her or is he there to bring her down? Can she really trust him??
I really loved Cece in this book and her courage and determination to not let anything keep her from proving that she was wrongly convicted. The book is fast moving; I read it in one sitting. The plot was captivating and the author did an excellent job of bringing characters from previous Winchester books into this one. There are quite a few twists and turns in this story and the ending caught me by surprise.
I highly recommend this book to readers of romantic suspense will not want to miss this one! I received an ARC of this book from the author. The review is strictly my own.
Fast-paced with unexpected twists.
Cecelia Winters has just returned home after being in prison for eight years for killing her father, a crime she did not commit, and now she is determined to find the truth.
Her father was a brutal man that demanded obedience to him and his beliefs from everyone but especially from his children. Cece didn’t fit the mold and their fights were well known, so when she was found covered in his blood after finding his body, nobody looked any further for his murderer.
Now she is ready to set the record straight and with the help of the only person she feels believes in her, her new neighbor, Deacon Ross, they set out to find answers.
But Deacon has his own agenda and his own truth to find…..what happened to his friend and mentor, an undercover FBI agent that went missing at the same time of Cece’s father’s murder.
Is Deacon truly out to help her or is he there to bring her down?
As always, Debra Webb will have you on the edge of your seat. This is a fast-paced book with some very unexpected twists.
The third book in Debra Webb’s Winchester series deals with some really heavy issues. Cecelia Winters has just returned home after being in prison for eight years for killing her father Mason. Her brother Marcus has taken over her father’s church, a group of people who act more like a cult than any worshippers that I have ever heard of. Her sister Sierra seems to still love her, but Cece strongly suspects that Sierra is taking drugs. Her brother Levi, who was supposed to pick her up from prison, is a no-show in most of the book but promises to be a central figure in the next Winchester book coming out in August. I really enjoyed the strong characters in this book. Cece combined a winsome desire to trust others as well as a willful desire to be free of the charges against her. Deacon Ross is an FBI agent who wants to find out what happened to his friend Jack and is planning on nailing Cece to the wall if she had anything to do with it. The action is fast-paced and the plot is compelling and thought-provoking. The ending was unexpected and unpredictable. I did seeing the return of some characters from other favorite books, like Sheriff Colt Tanner. There was also a “cameo” appearance by Rowan Dupont from Ms. Webbs’s series about the undertaker’s daughter. This book can, of course, be read as a stand alone since the story is a totally independent one, with some crossover with characters and the same setting. Readers of romantic suspense will not want to miss this phenomenal new book by Debra Webb!

The Stranger Next Door by Debra Webb is the third book that visits Winchester, Tennessee and it is a very fascinating town with a lot going on and so many mysteries and crime it keeps everyone on their toes.
I really loved Cece in this book and her spunk and how she was not going to let anything keep her from proving that she was wrongly convicted if her father’s murder and she spent time behind bars for someone else. She was one of those characters that you wanted to cheer for and you wanted to win at all cost. As for Deacon the male main character he was hard to like at times but he wins you over throughout the story and proves to be a great match for Cece. Like always Webb matches her romantic players perfectly.
The book moves along and flows so well I read it in one sitting. I loved the story and how it went and how characters from past Winchester books played a part as well. They dynamic between Cece and her family was heartbreaking and so real it really made the book. The ending was a true shock for me.
I can’t wait to see how the next book goes and how this story really ends. The Stranger Next Door gets five out of five stars.
This book by Debra Webb is riveting from start to finish!! Cece is a heroine to love and her mysterious neighbor a hero extraordinaire. Her quest to find her fathers killer stirs up a deadly hornets nest. I highly recommend this awesome book!!!
