While preparing to leave Uttira after graduation, Megan finds the Book of Fury. The answers she’s needed about who she is, her purpose, and her powers have been there the whole time, along with a shocking revelation. Now, it’s not just a matter of finding Megan’s mother. Megan must find the two preceding generations as well, because the book is clear on one thing: there can only be three furies.… furies.

I absolutely loved this finale to “Of Fates and Furies” -3 book series. In my opinion, it was the perfect ending! I definitely think a reader needs to start with book 1 for maximum enjoyment. Megan & Oanen are a perfect complement to each other & make the perfect supernatural couple. Megan’s sass & smarts are just as strong as the first 2 books, & Oanen is even more swoon worthy with his love & adoration of Megan. The temperature on this book is definitely hot! Oanen is in my top 10 for best book-boyfriends. The twists & turns in this book are crazy good, and definitely not predictable. The book flows fast & furious, & I couldn’t put it down until I was done even if it meant staying up way to late. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this world.
I loved the series and I loved the ending! Melissa you always keep me drawn in all your books and this one delivers like the rest. I love Megan because she is the one that keeps you laughing throughout the book and not far behind is Oanen. He is able to keep up with her sassy attitude. They both start on their quest to find Megan’s great grandmother along other duties like investigating some paranormal deaths happening in the mortal world. Sounds easy except Megan is struggling with her powers. If she doesn’t complete her full fury powers which involves “getting rid of the oldest fury” aka great grandmother ASAP, she will die. it has a fantastic epilogue that brings tears and humor!!
I loved the ending to this trilogy! Loved the adventure and romance. I struggled to put the book down and devoured it in less than a day.
Epic ending to the series, I FLOVE everything about this book and such an amazing series.. must read, you don’t want to miss this story!
This was the perfect closure to Megan and Oanen’s part of the series. After leaving Uttira to find the answers for gaining her full power, Megan discovers some things she didn’t know and some things she didn’t realize would affect her in the ways they did. And with Oanen at her side and in danger, she makes her way across the country to find her grandmother. But the response she receives might not be the one she is looking for. How will she navigate her way through the prophecy without facing the one situation she doesn’t want to face? And how will she make it through any of it without losing Oanen in the process?
I fell in love with all of these characters from the first book, and I wanted to see things go the way I thought they should, only to be turned another and better direction by the author. She writes the strongest heroines, even when they aren’t physically strong, and takes them through situations that keep the reader on edge and wondering if they’ll survive. We always expect a particular outcome and find ourselves surprised at the path she takes us on, resulting in a more satisfying adventure instead.
I’m always left with an anticipation for the next book whether it is in the series I’m currently reading or a new one. But I am truly excited for her to bring us back to this world, and I hope it happens in the near future.
This book is amaze-balls! If I was already seriously in love with this series/world, Fury Freed would fix that without question. Uttira is fascinating and will hold my attention for a long, long time, but seeing Megan and her fury unleashed on the world was epic! And the development of her relationship with Oanen was well worth the slower build-up in the first two books.
There’s other developments, of course, including the introduction of other creatures of the Mantirum, Megan’s grasp of the world she’s been plunged into, and the introduction of characters only previously alluded to.
I didn’t want to put Fury Freed down for a moment, the story is so captivating. I can’t wait to read the next series of the Mantirum universe: Kiss and Claw. I imagine we’ll be seeing Megan and Oanen some there, too, though their epilogue is absolutely perfect.
I love this series. Love all the new characters in this book. It was a great way to end the book. I’m just sad that there aren’t going to be more of them. Melissa Haag just keeps out doing herself. I would highly recommend this series to all my booky friends and family.
AMAZING ending to an AMAZING series. Now we finally know what Megan is but she has been put to a very difficult task in order for her to embrace her full power. Megan wants answers from her Mom. She joins Oanen on an assignment outside of Uttira and their adventure begins. I enjoyed reading about their adventures and so many questions are answered. Megan really grows a lot with who she really is and learning how to control her powers. Her relationship with Oanen steps up and takes a new level. I enjoyed the new characters as well. Melissa Haag did an excellent job writing this new world. I truly enjoyed it.
I love Megan and Oanen!!! This book was amazing (of course I knew it was going to be). This Author made sure that this book will keep you on your toes and make you want more. I honestly could not put this book done. I loved the way the story ended. Oanen is such a tease throughout this book! Now that ending made me want more but hopefully we will know soon enough. I can’t wait for the next book!
