Coming About, third in the Moody series, takes the paranormal adventure to a new level. On the surface, Kim Hornsby spins a romantic tale of past interwoven with present. This reader senses the deeper exploration of circularity, intersection, and interconnection. Does love truly transcend time? To which reality or realities do we belong? Anxiously awaiting further exploration of these intriguing themes in the next Moody installment.
I am just crazy about this series by Kim Hornsby. I’ve gobbled up the books unlike any series in my memory. I love these characters, the story line and with the incredible story telling ability of the author. The characters are interesting and the story line is fascinating.
How does a long dead ghost have such an attraction and such a grip on my imagination?
Coming about is the third book in this series.. while I absolutely loved 1 & 2 this one is just as good…. I honestly think you’ll enjoy the Moody and the Ghost Series as much as I do.. you won’t be disappointed, especially those who like paranormal stories…
What a great book. The ending was the best. There was a few slow spots. I’m so glad to see Bryndle has got her mojo back working. Seems she might have gained a few new things sense going blind.
Bryndle Moody has her 6th, er rather 5th sense back, thanks to Caspian Cortez. Following a kiss, Caspian vanished, and it’s been days since Bryn has seen, heard or felt his presence. Bryn is haunted by Caspian’s last words to her.
In trying to get more information, Bryn divulges to Joan Hightower, the librarian and former friend of the previous owner of Cove House, that she has met Caspian and that when he is near, Bryn has her sight. Bryn senses that Joan is withholding information.
Out of desperation, Bryn enters the bloody bedroom to summon Jacqueline, and feels a stabbing pain in her back. Jacqueline was angry.
Rachel, Bryn’s mom has invited the cop looking into her next door neighbor’s murder to stay over. Bryn has a feeling that Ron is hiding something. Although, Bryn was not the one to pick up any vibes of murder, Rachel conveniently told Ron it was Bryn not Eve who got a reading.
Moody Investigations was heading to Portland for a case in a hotel of the ghost of a little girl. Following the case, they were to join Ron, so Bryn could actually get a reading for the murder case. While at the hotel, Bryn dreams of Caspian and both proclaim that they have feelings for one another.
Still desperate to see Caspian, Bryn decides that maybe he hasn’t returned because she hasn’t held up her end of the bargain and sets out to find his bones. Bryn made her way to the beach and concentrated on how Caspian died in the 1850’s, and opened her eyes to being in the 1850’s where she spotted Caspian on a boat, slumped over, being rowed out then tossed into the water. She goes into action, rescues him and gets his men to hoist him aboard, where she gives him CPR, and quickly tells his crew that she is a nurse after referring to her as a witch.
Next thing Bryn knows, she woke up in her bed with everyone trying to figure out just how she got there!
If you love paranormal, then you will love this series! It’s engrossing!
Moody & the Ghost – Coming About by Kim Hornsby is the third book in the Moody Mystery Series. Just like the first two books this one kept me turning the pages. This book is just as good if not better than the first 2. This book being the third does not disappoint. I love all the characters and all their adventures. I wish I didn’t have to wait to read the next book in this series.
