Once upon a time, you fell in love with a caveman. His needs were basic, his ambitions primal, his love fierce. Now, fall in love with Ehd all over again…through Beh’s eyes.Luffs—Shay Savage’s holiday gift to Transcendence fans everywhere!
I’m so thankful to the author for writing this portion of Beh’s perspective. I was so satisfied to know what Beh’s father left for her and she controlled having babies. I love love Beh’s interactions with Ehd. How she adored him and understood that he was attracted to her. This two is going to live in my fictional world forever.

Title: Luffs
Series: Transcendence
Author: Shay Savage
Designation: Book 1.5 of Series, Short Novella, No Cliffhanger But Not A Standalone
My Rating: Five Delightfully Entertaining Stars*****
**This book is not a standalone, but rather a companion novella, and should only be read after first
reading Transcendence, the first book of the series.
Be still my heart! I’m still in love with Ehd and Beh! In Luffs, Shay Savage returns to her prehistoric world with a novella written especially for fans of her novel Transcendence. Although it features the same characters, it’s not really a sequel, but rather a short companion story giving an abbreviated version of the same events that took place during the first book, but unlike the original novel, the narrative of this short story is from Beh’s perspective, covering a timeline just prior to Elizabeth’s(Beh) journey back in time, giving readers the cause of her accidental tumble to a prehistoric era, her subsequent rescue by a caveman named Ehd, and the important events leading up to Beh’s acceptance of her new life. We see her completely embrace her love for Ehd, as well as her fate as Ehd’s mate and mother of his children in a prehistoric world. I adored Transcendence and thoroughly enjoyed Luffs. It was wonderful to finally better understand Beh’s thoughts, actions, and her fierce struggle to survive, endure, accept, and finally welcome a new way of life with a man she came to love dearly, a life so simple yet so difficult, and so completely opposite of her previous existence as a carefree student in an age of smartphones and sophisticated technology. This short but comprehensive account of Beh’s thoughts answers several questions I had from the original book and made me fall even more in love with Beh. Luffs also made me realize just how intelligent, brave, patient, kind, resilient, and compassionate Beh truly was. She was a truly remarkable young woman. Honestly, I don’t think I could have survived such an ordeal, but Beh did it with far more grace, intelligence, and courage than I could ever muster. And even after reading the first book and already knowing everything that happened, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough and still giggled, snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, and sobbed through the entire story – again! Well done, Shay Savage…well done, indeed!
Did I like this book? No, I loved it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers. Will I read this author again? Absolutely, I already have and will again! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!BE STILL MY HEART!!! I’M STILL IN LOVE WITH EHD & BEH!!!

If you have read Transcendence who might have wondered who it was from beth. This A novella told from Beth’s point of view. It is a completely telling, just a few of the important parts, but that also made the story a bit jumpeld. It took the flow out of the story.
It doesn’t have the power of Transcendence, but it does show the fear and frustration Beth had. stuck in this whole new world, not being able to communicate and knowing her fate.

Luffs is a beautiful addition to Transcendence which I really loved. It was nice to read about Ehd and Beh again through Beh’s eyes. I think this novella is a great gift to fans of Transcendence. I have to admit that a couple of scenes brought tears to my eyes, but overall it was light and fun.
