A moving story about love, forgiveness and restoration.
When marriages hit rocky spots it’s often easier to just give up trying. But that’s not what is truly best and fulfilling. Communication is defiantly a key part of every marriage.
In this book, David and Cindy find they are arguing and snapping at each other more than they really want, but don’t know how to stop. Thanks to a weekend away, they meet some wonderful people and start to see the need to change.
The author, TK Chapin brings wonderful life lessons into this story and many amazing quotes. One quote I loved was:
“Only God can fix the brokenness. We have to rely on God and trust in Him alone to fix, mend, and repair the hurts in this life we encounter. When we allow Him to be God in our lives, we can see big changes or change in a big way.”
Thanks, TK Chapin for being willing to write this book. I hope and pray I will be a more loving and forgiving wife because of this story.
I highly recommend you pick this book up and read it.
I was given this book by the author for an honest review, all opinions are my own.
Author T.K. Chapin has always gotten to the heart of issues, and this book is no exception. Chapin’s characters are well developed and very real. As they walk through emotional events such as betrayal and forgiveness you’ll see God’s redemption plan unfold.
A Reason to Forgive will challenge you to look at your relationships. Are you showing the love of Christ to others? Are you walking in forgiveness? All of these are presented but definitely not in a preachy way. Chapin writes about life and God in a very warm way.
It’s always great to read another book that lets me return to Diamond Lake and visit with old friends. I highly recommend any book by T.K. Chapin.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
A reason to forgive
This was one of those books that I really got into the characters. So real. I started telling what to do. A book that you will want to read in one sitting.
This is about an married couple that are empty nesters trying to work on their marriage while drawing closer to the Lord. She has her painting and he has his business. There is also her sister that Cindy wants to help but lives in another state. I definitely recommend reading David and Cindy’s story.
I received an complementary copy of the book from the author. I was not required to write an positive review. This is my own opinion.
This a book about Christian marriage and forgiveness.T.k.Chapin paints a vivid picture of a Christian marriage in trouble.
This book shows the workings of God when you turn your problems over to him.
I loved the well crafted storyline and the amazing characters.
This book is recommended for those who love Christian romance with a strong inspirational.
I liked that the whole book was focused on our relationship with GOD being the priority. I liked that the book points out that forgiveness is not about giving a person permission to hurt you again. It is about us & GOD. I liked the changes in David’s life which led to changes in his wife also. I realized what accusations in our minds can cause major problems. I liked that when the characters focused on the creator GOD He did amazing things. I liked the servant’s heart GOD gave Tyler & Johnathan & later David.
