Cyrus Winters, an omega wolf and an ice mage is dangerous to others. After running away from his birth pack at an early age, Cyrus traveled from place to place in hopes of finding a pack that would accept him. But once they realized that he was no ordinary omega wolf, they quickly turned their backs on him. Alone and shunned as a monster, Cyrus has kept himself hidden at the top of the Wichita … Mountains where nobody would reach him. That is, until he hears the song of his fated mate.
Dorian Lovell once had the family he’d always dreamed of, but after the death of his son, his whole world fell apart. When he begins having dreams about a white wolf at the top of a mountain, howling for him, Dorian realizes that he may have found his fated mate. Joining his friend Tobias’ pack in the Wichita Mountains, Dorian sets out to find the wolf from his dream; but once he meets Cyrus, he quickly realizes that mating with the frosty omega won’t be as easy as he thought it’d be.
An omega with a heart of ice, and an alpha who’s destined to thaw him out. With a threat to Cyrus’ life approaching, the two must learn to come together as one. Can Dorian’s pack accept the gifted omega, and can Cyrus trust his life and future to his new pack, and the alpha the fates paired him with?

The first book I had read was Diablo and this one was just as good I love how the Omega was so strong and so sure of himself and how the alpha just let him be him
*WARNING* contains explicit adult m/m sexual situations and violence.
Cyrus has accepted that he is to live alone. A body isn’t suppose to hold wolf and mage, so maybe Cyrus should give up. Cyrus knows everyones fears him, he knows he’s a monster, so what does that want?
Dorian keeps having dreams that his fated mate lives on top of a snow covered mountain. After Dorian lost his son to cancer, believing in the dream gives him something to hope for, live for.
This was an interesting story. I liked the storyline. The mage/wolf thing was quite original as well as what he is able to do and what he uses to do it with. Quite often it’s often “opposites attract” with these stories, but with this one, both of these characters are broken down by what life had thrown at them. This is a great start to a new series. I’ll be checking out book two soon.

Dorian has been dreaming of and hearing the song of the wolf who can only be his mate. Drawn to the mountains that are nestled in his friend Tobias’ lands, he has no choice but to go. There is, though, the small matter of Frostbite, a semi-legend slash horror story about a white wolf who has been killing alpha wolves. But Cyrus has been defending himself, and Dorian is, in his eyes, another threat. When Dorian is unaffected my Cyrus’ magic, he knows that Dorian is his mate. There is just the fact of whether he WANTS a mate, and whether Tobias will accept him into the pack, legends and all.
I came across book two of this series on social media, I forget which. THAT book was free, and this one was only 99p, (27/03/19) so I grabbed them both and I am so glad I did!
I thoroughly enjoyed this one!
It’s sufficiently different to make it interesting, with the alpha male wolves being able to have children with females, but only their FATED MATE can be male. Dorian was married to a human woman; they had a child who died. Cyrus never had any children, he didn’t to pass the horror of HIS childhood upon another.
Dorian KNOWS Cyrus is his mate, he can hear his sorrow and loneliness in his song. Cyrus, however, needs to come to Dorian. CYRUS needs to ask to join the pack. Tobias is, to be fair, quite a . . .laid back Alpha. Well, laid back til you cross his pack and put anyone in it in danger. He accepts Cyrus, and the other omegas take him under his wing. Cyrus had been without anyone for a long time. Now he has a MATE, and a PACK that has accepted him, and his story. And when Cyrus’ past comes to attack that family and pack, they all gather up, and show Cyrus just what that means.
We are introduced to the legend of Diablo, which is book two and we are given hints about Tobias, who is maybe not just wolf, but just WHAT, that remains to be seen!
First I’ve read of this author, I need more!
A thoroughly enjoyable, well worth the 99p I paid for it, read.
4 solid stars

We are drawn into a complex story. I like how the characters were written that was not your average omega/alpha pairing. Dorian has had a major tragic happen to him and his family, that he some time comes across aloof. Cyrus has been hunted all his life by alphas so he has a jaded view on them.
there are some twist and turn in the story that does keep you on the edge of your seat. will we find out who is truly pulling the strings in the next book. Cant wait to see what happens next and will there be another with a special gift out there. highly recommend this book
This was JM Wolf’s very first Mpreg story and he did not disappoint.
I loved the storyline and the strong lead characters.
I really enjoyed how much different JM’s storyline was from other Mpreg shifter stories that I have read in the past. It definitely stands out to me!
This is my first book by JM Wolf and it certainly won’t be the last. I really enjoyed this book. The author’s first attempt at mpreg was a well-earned success. It was a very unique take. Cyrus is a beautiful white wolf with the power of ice magic. His life was a struggle and left him lonely which came through his wolfsong. Alpha Dorian hears his song and knows the white wolf in his dreams is his mate. Their meeting is magnetic and that pull to each other creates immense passion. This story has everything I love in it. Angst, passion, action, and a beautiful happily ever after. Cyrus or Frostbite, as his legend calls him, is an omega that doesn’t have to have an alpha to protect him. I really enjoy reading about omegas like him. And Dorian is the perfect alpha. He is understanding, very loving and definitely protective. Their love story was perfectly written and I plan on revisiting many more times. I am counting the days until the second story is released about Diablo and Trace. Anyone who loves MM, paranormal, fated mates, and mpreg will be very happy they chose to read this!
