I’ve reviewed the first one in the series, and the rest of the stories are of the rest of the Charles brothers.
Marrying the Country Star – This story says something that I always suspected about shows like the Bachelor. The shows are scripted until the unexpected happens. What happens between Cassandra and Jonathan, doesn’t happen in real life and if it does it’s because the girl is just plain naive. The story is harsh at parts, but then Cassandra finally gets a dose of reality. I find Jonathan a fake character from the start, and never liked him. It’s hard to like someone that arrogant and so willing to do something so wrong as to fix the show as to who the winner is.
Marrying the Billionaire – This story is about Lance. Another narcissistic brother, who flirts with his girlfriend’s personal assistant, then wonders why his girlfriend fired her. This is a typical office romance and Lance is a jerk for engaging Helen’s heart.
Marrying the Athlete – Gareth is the typical female using jock. Unfortunately, his best friend’s sister has had a crush on him forever. This one was kind of fun, because Gareth actually wants her. His friend has a no touching policy for his sister.
Marrying the Cowboy – Morgan is the fourth brother, the lone cowboy. The one brother who doesn’t want all the riches, only something to fulfill his life. This is the best story at of all four books.
A great collection of stories which you will fall in love with. Each one will take you on a very lovely journey as you see if these four men find a love that would last forever. See if they do

These stories were well written, and I enjoyed the story and characters. Each of the couples in the stories had a strong connection and great chemistry. This set is clean contemporary romance. (I’ve read her regency romances in the past.)
This Nashville country novella collection features brothers who are strong alpha males- a country star, a billionaire, a cowboy, and an athlete, who become their better selves when they fall in love with the right women. They’re interconnected, but can also be read stand alone. There’s a bit of everything in these books!

I had read (and separately reviewed) Marrying A Country Star, the first book in Emma Evans’ Marrying Nashville box set and loved it. Do it’s no shocker that I grabbed onto the box set. It is a tour de force demonstration by the author of her mastery of clean contemporary romance providing a full spectrum of what the genre offers. You want musician romance? You got it in the first book of the series where dancer / choreographer Cassandra (Cassie) is a contestant in a “Bachelor” style reality contest show where the “prize” is country music star Jonathan Charles. You want billionaire romance? You got it with billionaire Lance Charles and actress Helen in book 2 (Marrying The Billionaire), as well as a great subplot involving Helen’s problem with her horrible boss who heads a fashion magazine. How about sports star romance? You got it – along with a fake boyfriend tale – in book 3 (Marrying The Athlete) as well as great enemies-to-lovers tension between lead characters Gareth Charles (Yes, these leads are all brothers), the Vanderbilt University football team’s quarterback, and smart girl / baker Diana. Heck, the author even through in cowboy romance in book 4 (Marrying A Cowboy) where the leads are New York City socialite, a total “fish out of water” as the inheritor of a failing rodeo just outside Nashville, and youngest Charles brother Gareth, a thrill seeker currently employed as a star bull rider. I loved how he brothers in these stories were so close to and supportive of each other. I found it pleasantly refreshing that there are no cheap shots involving “bad girl” enemies of any book’s heroine – even Cassie’s rival contestants in book 1 are all decent people (book 2’s star was actually Casie’s rival in book 1). In fact the closet thing to a “bad girl” is book 4’s star Vanessa who starts out a spoiled selfish “hard as nails” brat seemingly uncaring of others before changing over the story’s course. I also though it neat how the author dealt with recovery for heroines with damaged hearts in three of four stories (there’s actually a subplot in one of the books involving the ex-boy friend). I love how the couples from earlier books in the series have cameos in later books, giving readers a chance to check up with character favorites. Mostly though I loved how wonderful these tales are, not just the sub-genres I love (books 1-3 pretty much check all my boxes) but even book 4 which pulled me in despite the fact that I’m not big on cowboy romance stories and didn’t much like the heroine at first. Frankly each of these books is more than worth the price of the entire series so the box set is a real steal. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises – the box set definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that each of the books here is most definitely “one to read”, and it is easy to highly recommend the set.
This collection follows each of the Charles brothers as they find their way to happiness. Each story is full of twists and turns that you don’t see coming but you will be happy with the result.

The Marrying Nashville series gives us the romantic stories of the Charles brothers — Jonathan, Lance, Gareth, and Morgan. They have looks, money, and charm, but can they find true love in Nashville? The set includes: Marrying a Country Star, Marrying the Billionaire, Marrying an Athlete, and Marrying a Cowboy. Below is a review of Book 1 to pique your interest!
*** Reviewing “Marrying a Country Star – Book 1” ***
“To Win in Love” was a new and upcoming reality TV show, and when Cassandra St. Clair saw the open casting call, she immediately applied. She made the first cut and now looked out the limo’s window as the Briarwood Estates came into view. She was ushered off to have the hair and makeup crew prepare her for the camera. Then she was told to read the teleprompter, where she found words that were totally not her style, nothing that she would ever say. But she was a dancer and wanted this only for the exposure it would give her, so she read the hateful mean-girl words. Then she read through it again, seductive, sassy, and confident. She would rather be sweet and innocent, but that’s not what the producer wanted.
Finally it was time to meet downstairs and join the other women who would all greet the mystery man they were in competition for. Although Cassandra had no idea who country music star Jonathan Charles was, she was impressed at his handsome face and muscled body. At the end of the series, one of the competitors would end up marrying him! But Jonathan is only in this for the fun and has no concern over whether the marriage fails or not. Will these two get what they want from the show, amid all the faked scripting that never lets anyone see the real person inside? Will they ever get to know that real person and find worth in each other?
I found this behind-the-scenes look at reality TV to be very amusing. I never watch this type of show for the precise reason that I know it’s faked and contrived. But by giving us a look at the fake while also letting us get to know the real characters underneath, you find yourself caring about them and wanting it to be real. In my opinion, that is very good writing to draw a reader in that way despite the “fake reality” mindset that is expected. The story line is good. With neither character caring if they won or not, and the TV scripting keeping real feelings away, we have a third scenario where just maybe two people can both find each other and reach their dreams. The other stories in this set are equally awesome!
Great stories. Four brides for four men. All different men. But sexy alpha men none the less. Lots of adventure, excitement, suspense, fun, emotions and so much more. I recommend them. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
The four Charles brothers find their true loves in Nashville and get married. Each bother, a country music singer, a billionaire businessman, a football player and a rodeo star, all have different personalities. They each take different paths to finding the women that complete their lives. This is a sweet clean romance box set that will give you nothing but happily ever after.

This is an amazing boxset that covers the lives and loves of the Charles brothers. Each story will have you engrossed and touch your heart in different ways. Whether its the country Rockstar Jonathan, the billionaire CEO Lance, the obnoxious athlete Gareth or the loner Morgan. Their stories will inspire and have you cheering on the characters in their pursuit of love. My favorite was Lance and Helen who fell in love over cats! You can’t go wrong with these stories because we can see a little of ourselves in them!
