I’ll give her what she wants for Christmas, but then she’ll have to give me something in return and what I want is sure to add some color to her pretty, pale cheeks. When mousy librarian Abigail Moore walks into Hunter’s tattoo shop and asks him to give her the tattoo of his choice, his first instinct is to turn her away. Hunter has always believed that tattoos should mean something, but if she’s … something, but if she’s determined to get one done, then he wants to be the one to do it.
However, while he’s working with her to come up with a design she won’t regret, a spark of attraction ignites between them that won’t be ignored.
Two terms of service in the military have left Hunter not only with scars that cover forty percent of his body but also with a bad case of PTSD.
He has a habit of picking women who are unavailable and wonders if, subconsciously, he’s going after them for that very reason.
Despite wanting to run in the opposite direction, there’s something about Abby that sparks Hunter’s interest so he begins to pursue her with relentless intent.
When a fire breaks out at Abby’s workplace, can Hunter fight through his demons to save her or will the horrors of his past destroy his first real chance at future happiness?
Will Christmas in Creede be one to remember for all the right reasons or are its residents about to face a Christmas nightmare?

This was such a entertaining read. My one and only complaint was that I thought the characters deserved a more time to reveal all their secrets and let you get to know them. Hunter and Abby were just so incredible, their histories intense and their romance too beautiful for the time it was given. Although I greatly enjoyed this read, I was left a bit unsatisfied because I felt there was so much left unexplored. Still, it was quite good.
Abby is a cancer survivor and wants a tattoo to commemorate her battle with cancer and winning. Hunter is a tattoo artist who is battling his own demons. Neither want to tell the other what they’ve been through. Will they stick around once they find out?

I really enjoyed this book! I like how they were afraid to tell each other something they had in common because they both figured the other person’s feelings would change. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a very sweet story. Abby was a librarian who had been fightling cancer for 3 years. When she was cleared, she wanted a tattoo to commerate it. Her Dr advised her to wait 6 months. When she walked into the tattoo parlor, Hunter was immediately attracted to her. They took their time getting to know each other though. Even by the end of the book, new details came out. I enjoyed reading it and liked how protective Hunter was of her

Mountain Man Christmas by Ava Grace is a great ending to an exciting six book MC series. This book focuses on the club’s Tattoo artist, Hunter and librarian and cancer survivor, Abby. They meet when she decides to get a tattoo to commemorate her cancer is in remission. They both have issues that make them afraid to commit but if they were open with each other they would see that’s a hurdle easily overcome. Will they?

Abby and Hunter are made for each other. They just need to get over their own insecurities and talk to each other and they may be able to find the one they’ve been hoping for. If this is truly the last we hear of the folks from Creede, I would’ve liked to have seen an epilogue showing hunter proposing to Abby….say Bahamas swimming with the pigs?!
Holy Sh1tt. One of the best novellas I’ve read in a while.
Abby is 25 and is in remission. Due to her cancer, she can’t have children.
Hunter has been through a lot as well but you can’t tell from his demeanor.
They meet when she goes in to his tattoo shop to get a tattoo to show her victory over cancer.

Honestly, this series was really great. Some of the books seemed a bit short but loved the characters and the small town of Creede. The first and the last book of the series was the absolute best.
An enjoyable well written short romance. This emotional rollercoaster storyline had me engage from beginning to end. It has is ups and downs and really tugged at the heart strings. The characters are interesting, both have their own broken pasts feeling unworthy of love or companionship with amazing chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this standalone within a series but would recommend reading the whole series.
