Note: This novella is a combination of short and sweet. Add in a handsome bear shifter, a sprinkle of danger, and you get a steamy romance with a happily ever after.Bear shifter Bryson Cruise is a man of few words. He says what needs to be said when it needs to be said and lives his life the same way. Working security at a Colorado mountain resort is the perfect job and suits his loner lifestyle … suits his loner lifestyle just fine.
Then he meets curvy Leah Jacobson, and for the first time in his life he’s speechless. He’s never been big on dating, never had lasting relationships, and didn’t know the first thing about courting a mate. Add in the fact that Leah is human, has no clue shifters exist, and things get way more complicated.

‘Enchanting the Bear‘ is the third title in the ‘Seneca Falls Shifters‘ series, and while it’s a short-ish story it certainly packs an emotional punch as Bryson, a bear shifter who had pretty much resigned himself to being without a mate finally runs into her when least expected… having porcupine quills removed from his boss’s pet dog’s nose, also known as Bear.
Leah has moved across the country to stay with her brother, Mitch, trying to escape a relentless stalker. Right now she’s working the receptionist’s desk to help out at the vet clinic when she first encounters Bryson – and that first impression was a powerful one, even for a non-shifting human. With no clue that she’s this sexy, shy man’s mate Leah will begin the slow-burning romance of a lifetime — if her past will stay where it belongs, which of course it will not.
We’ve met Bryson in the earlier books of this series, and I’ve always thought that it would take a special woman to compliment this amazing, shy, yet determined man. Leah is all of that and more, even if right now she’s not really seeing much beyond running from the past and falling for a man she doesn’t know is a shifter. I adore Bryson’s awkwardness, his endearing care toward Leah during their courting – he really is one of a kind, even down to putting up with being teased and hounded by friends. ‘Enchanting the Bear‘ is full of sweet falling in love, sizzling chemistry, danger from the past, and watching two deserving people find their match under unusual circumstances. I may have come to this series late, but I’m definitely enjoying every moment spent in this world.

A really good shifter romance.
This is a fairly quick read that is full of suspense and is an interesting mix of sweet and spicy reading. Bryson meets Leah when he takes his bosses dog to the vet where she is the receptionist. He is so tongue-tied when he meets Leah that it is both cute and romantic. Leah knows she shouldn’t be interested but she can’t deny her instant attraction to Bryson and add in the fact that she feels safe with him too and she’s a goner.

(Review with spoilers – I haven’t read the other books in the series)
Nice romance. I loved it.
Bryson, a shifter, met his partner unexpectedly at the local vet’s office. He knows, from the first moment, that she is the woman for him, but he also knows that he must go slowly, because Leah is human and he doesn’t want to scare her.
Leah went to live with her brother after a traumatic breakup. She liked it there, but she realizes, after meeting Bryson, that all she does is hide, and she doesn’t want to, she wants a chance with him.
I loved Bryson. A man of few words, but never insecure, and who doesn’t know what to say or what to do when he’s with Leah.
I loved Leah. She felt comfortable with him since they met. He makes her feel safe. She wants to be with him, and she doesn’t care if he’s a shifter. He’s still the same man she fell in love with.
I loved them together.
I recommend it.
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.

This is a well written shifter romance between Bryson , a bear shifter and Leah , a human. They have an instant attraction and connection which unbeknownst to her means they’re mates. Now he has to find a way to tell her without scaring her away. The story has just enough drama, suspense, action and fear as well as the growing love ,passion and steam to move the story quickly and smoothly. The supporting characters help to bring the story around. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

This is my first read from Rayna and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. As a huge shifter fan, this book was right up my street. I was pulled right into Leah and Bryson’s story and did not want to stop reading such a good well-written book I would recommend it.
