The more I read in Michelle Miles’ Dragon Protectors series, the more I fall in love with the world she’s building.
Not going to lie, I was half in love with Rafe when we met him in Desiring the Dragon Lord, but oh get me a fan and a cool drink, because his hot factor increased 100-fold in the second installment, Seducing the Dragon Knight. He jumps at the chance to end his long exile from the Hidden Lands, even if he’s not thrilled with his quest.
I really wasn’t sure about Mia in the beginning. But Miles did a masterful job of showing the reader Mia’s personal journey throughout the story. We see her transform from a spoiled, naive princess into a strong woman. Her transformation is just as magical as the dragons that inhabit the Hidden Lands.
I’m looking forward to seeing where Miles takes us next!
I love the entire premise of this book. It was well written, laid out well and full of enticing plot lines. I found the ending to be a little unsatisfying, but overall it was a nice read.

Two characters that light a fire and tons of twists and turns. Only working together can Mia and Rafe win. They bond as the story goes and it will change both of their lives forever. Well developed characters and a fast moving story line. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Michelle Miles has wrote a book full of twist and turns, betrayal and intense chemistry between the main characters. Mia the Princess of Draynor came to New York on a mission to see if she could find the royal jewels along with the Blood Stone. What she did not know is that one of her security team members was going to kidnap her for a evil plot. She got away in her dragon form. She landed on Rafe rooftop and he came up to see what was going on. He took her down to his apartment and got her something to put on. A friend of his came by with a young woman, who was Freya, Mia’s P.A. who Mia thought had been killed when her car was attacked. When Rafe’s apartment is attacked he has to get the girls out. The more time that Mia and Rafe spend together the more they fall for each other.
Will Mia get what she came for or will the bad guys win. Will Rafe realize that he is the one for Mia or will he let her walk away.
The way Michelle has wrote this book, it will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next.

From the start this book has danger and a bit of mystery. At first I did not think I would like Mia, but you soon see a different side of her. I like that you are given additional POVs in addition to Mia and Rafe’s. This is a very exciting read.
