“You take the good, the bad and the ugly. Love is unconditional.”
I’ve been hanging by a thread after the huge cliffhanger in Entitled, so anxious to get answers to the many questions I still had. Just when ‘Asshole Andrew’ had finally won me over he turned the tables on me again. He started out running hot and cold in the first book, and I thought all that was behind us. But alas, he’s showing bipolar tendencies again, keeping me guessing.
After learning some of Andrew’s history I really couldn’t blame him for some of his negative behavior. He’s got a lot of demons to battle and he doesn’t know how to handle the feelings he has for Morgan. He’s never experienced unconditional love and wouldn’t recognize it if it called his name and introduced itself. When faced with Andrew’s swinging emotions he and I were both surprised that Morgan didn’t cut and run. She hasn’t had a positive experience in the love department and you’d think that trusting another man who made promises one minute and kept secrets the next would be a red flag, right?
But, like the song lyrics, the heart wants what the heart wants. Morgan is faced with many reasons to run, but she stays. Yes, she questions, but she hasn’t thrown in the towel…yet. But, even though she’s entrusted her heart to Andrew, she’s not an idiot. She’s smart and savvy and not used to blindly taking orders from a man. Just ask her brothers and her father. They can confirm that she’s a strongminded force to be reckoned with and she doesn’t take kindly to being told to sit back and let the men handle things. Did I mention that I really like her?
Let’s just say that Andrew soon figures out that even though she’s given him her heart, she still has a mind of her own. She might love him, but she doesn’t blindly trust him when his actions aren’t lining up with his words. Will his secrets cost him the best thing that’s ever happened to him? I’ve always heard that there’s a fine line between love/hate, but what about trust/truth? Where does the heart draw the line? Will he be able to prove his love before he loses her?
2018 published, contemporary, do not finish, easy to read, erotic, her POV, M/F romance, office, plot, read, romance, sex, steamy, unforgettable.
Entrusted with your heart only to drive you crazy…
With an ending like Entitled had and the start of Entrusted, you knew it was going to get real messy. But honestly, this was way more than I ever expected. So many questions fly through your mind in Entrusted. I can’t even begin to name all my thoughts, theories, and guesses. Some were way out there (not alien invasion out there but out there) and some were more shock than actual guesses. Enjoyed being able to pick apart clues but still on the edge of discovery for most of the book.
Before I go, I will entrust you with this piece of advice: love long and hard but always with your all. Light has a way of shining in the darkness.

A great great end to a fantastic duet.
I was super worried at the end of book one (major cliffhanger), but it ended better than I could have imagined.
Andrew and Morgan are a sweet couple. They went through so much together and separately.
This book has the ability to take us on a fantastic journey of ups and downs.
I will continue to read books by LM, she kept the story interesting from beginning to end, not once was I bored. I couldn’t wait to see how it ended–it was worth the wait.
When you are finally entrusted with unconditional love what will you do to protect it?! LM Carr has a phenomenal conclusion to her Love Duet. It is not all smooth sailing for Andrew and Morgan. You will experience anger, tears, passion, and frustration while these two must overcome their past but in the end, it is the danger they must survive to find their happily ever after. A nail biting conclusion to this roller coaster ride to find forever love.

What a fantastic story that kept me guessing throughout. Just when I thought the story was going in one direction there are twists and more suspense. I could not put this book down and fell more in love with Andrew as the story progressed. What a perfect way to end this duet and it is a definite must read!!!!
This book had all the feels and throughout the book there were so many twists and turns I couldn’t tell if I liked Andrew or not! Lol Morgan and Andrew’s relationship is beautiful and all that they go through is quite an adventure!! The news Andrew gets right away in the beginning is so much and the way they get through it all, true love!! ! Loved this book and would recommend it!!!!!!!
Wow what a book. Entrusted was more than I expected it to be. Talk about a roller coaster ride. It was so full of action and twists and the unexpected events that I didn’t want to put it down. My mind was wondering what has Andrew gotten himself into to cause all this mystery and disappearing acts going on. Morgan had the patience of a saint because I would have had it out with Andrew when he kept taking trips to wherever he would go. I can’t say much because I don’t want to spoil it for the readers but the author spun her interesting tale that had my emotions all of the place. Some characters I hated but loved, some I didn’t like and really hated towards the end. She knows which ones too. I can’t say enough about the book, my head is still spinning. Loved it L.M.
L.M.’s Love Duet continues where Andrew and Morgan left off in Entitled. The author is a little spicier in her sex scenes in this one…you don’t want to miss them.
As always, L.M. writes as an author should and she takes her readers into the time and place with her characters. She draws her readers in, makes them want to throw things, then bite their nails, then drive to her house to kiss her! Oh wait, that’s just me? NO! You’ll experience it too.
The second book of this series is more entertaining than the first which I didn’t think was possible. When Andrew and Morgan decide they are going to take a gamble on each other Andrew gets news that his life is going to change. Morgan is doing her best to be understanding but Andrew has a lot of skeletons coming out of his closet but this couple just keeps getting hit with problems . This story kept me right on the edge of my seat the entire time Andrew and Morgan are great together, I loved this series and I am looking forward to what else L.M. Carr has coming up next.
Entrusted solidifies my love of these characters. They both are bruised and, in many ways, shattered by their pasts. There are moments of frustration at the way they react to certain situations, but that’s because as a reader you are peeved to both perspectives. In my opinion that’s part of my love of these characters, they are written with realistic insecurities.
For a man who has never experienced unconditional love, Andrew showers Morgan in it. Morgan is still very guarded with her heart and Andrew due to the way her 1st husband treated her, yet she not only loves Andrew unconditionally, she accepts him for who he is.
L.M. Carr leaves you a trail of breadcrumbs alluding to the secrets that Andrew tries to hide from Morgan, yet she still manages to throw in a few twists that you’re not expecting. Secrets always have a way of coming out, and these not only have the ability to tear apart a “fragile love” they have life & death consequences.
I love this crazy, sexy, steamy, unpredictable and complicated conclusion to Andrew and Morgan’s story. So much happens and we learn much more about Andrew’s past and it really just makes you fall deeper in love with this man. There are so many forces working against them that at times it’s hard to see a happy ending. Morgan, has been hurt so deeply before that she is not sure if she can really entrust her heart to Andrew. But she wants to because well, she loves him. For Andrew, his angel Morgan means everything to him, but will trying to correct mistakes of the past ruin his future with the one person who has ever truly loved him?
This has been such a well written and wonderful duet! L.M. You’ve done it again!
I honestly could not put this one down.
