Vampires can’t levitate. At least that’s what Dante Gabriel always thought, until he finds himself floating above his bed along with his lover, Erin Hamilton. As he continues to exhibit unusual powers, more memories from his time in captivity surface, leaving him fearing what he might have done while imprisoned. When a new and unexpected temptation arises, he finds himself unable to resist.Erin … resist.
Erin aches for Dante and wants more than anything for him to find peace. As they uncover clue after clue in their attempt to find the missing women and solve the puzzle of Dante’s past, she is more determined than ever to put an end to their struggle, even if it means putting herself in harm’s way.
After an ominous visit with Bea, the voodoo priestess, Dante knows what he must do, and he must do it alone. First, though, he will make Erin truly his and take the sustenance he needs to get him through his next battle. But will his love for her be enough to save him when his nemesis is finally unmasked?

Grip you by the seat of your pants suspense, loyal love and the unknown…Wowzers, this book has it all and won’t let you stop until you read the last page and go “Oh, crap!” The story of Dante and Erin is a beautiful love story but the things that swirl around their life is what keeps you hanging on to the entire Series. Helen Hardt is blowing out of the water with this one.
This has been one heck of a ride so far and this juicy morsel here is only fueling my flames of desire. Erin and Dante have this palpable visceral need for one another that transcend the written word. I can almost taste the hunger and desire for one another. Their love is almost forbidden it’s so explosive. When the forces that seek to separate them prove to be all encompassing, they must seek to fight against them with everything they are.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
Wow, Helen Hardt has out done her series with Unmasked. This series continues to blow my mind. This is genius, the book is genius. Can Helen actually ever write a bad book? The answer is NO. No she cannot and this book just proves that.
In part 10: Dante’s memories from when he was held captive are slowly coming to the surface, he’s remembering more and more as the plot continues to thicken. He started to discover even more of his strength and abilities, and he continues to get strong and fight harder.
Erin’s main concern is finding the missing women and returning them to their families and of course to try and help Dante.
Her and Dante work well together, their chemistry is off the charts and their craving for each other continues to deepen.
In Part 11: Dante’s need to keep the woman he loves safe only heightens, he’s attached himself to her fiercely and continues to try and keep her safe. He is trying to grasp some control of the darkness in him and around him, but is struggle at every turn.
Erin wants nothing more to try and help HIM and continues to try and helping the women who went missing. She’s becoming stronger but she realises her and Dante are connected for life and that her strength excels when her and Dante are together.
In Part 12: Dante is struggling bad, he can’t seem to get a grip on this all consuming darkness that’s taken over his life, but he will continue to fight it.
Erin is doing everything she can to try and keep him safe, to try and help him in any way she possibly can. But when more and more twists and turns are thrown into this instalment, the struggle heightens, more questions start to pop up, new information emerges and come into the picture, which only adds to those burning questions I want answers for.
As the plot thickens and Helen pulls me even more into the story, everything only intensifies (if that was even possible)
The author does what she does best. She pulls you in deep and holds you there, totally at her mercy and you can’t help but flip the page frantically. Ms. Hardt is the queen at delivering a main hero that is wounded yet strong and fights for what he wants, needs and loves.
The love shared between Dante and Erin is firework and the chemistry between the two is off the damn charts.
Yet again, she leaves me with a massive book hang over and one hell of a cliffhanger. I expected nothing less from this incredible author.
I highly recommend this series, but you must read from Volume one.
UNMASKED: BLOOD BOND: PARTS 10, 11, & 12 (VOLUME 4) (BLOOD BOND SAGA) By Helen Hardt
Volume 4, This is such a great series! It absolutely has to be read in order, but I urge you to give it a try! This is a very different type of vampire story, but as with everything Helen Hardt writes it has a great story line, awesome characters that suck you into their world, hot chemistry, suspense, action, angst, passion and sex. This is a definite 5 stars, wish I could give it more!
Part 10, Things are changing quickly for Dante and Erin. He is still evolving and getting stronger and stronger. His memory of his time in captivity is starting to come back a little at a time.
Part 11, The darkness is starting to overtake Dante and he is fighting to protect Erin while trying to figure out what is happening. The girls are still missing and they have no clues concerning where they might be. They still need to figure out Dr Bonneville’s role in this.
Part 12, Bea the voodoo priestess, has given Dante the info of what is going to be required of him and he must go it alone. He will have to do what he never thought he would do. OH HOW LONG UNTIL THE NEXT INSTALLMENT?!?! This story has an insane cliffhanger!
What a great novel!!!! OMG! Couldn’t put it down and definitely a page Turner til the end. Nail biter this one is. Not what I was expecting!!! Eek!!!!!
Unmasked by Helen Hardt is Blood Bond Saga Blood Bond Vol 4 books 10-12. This continues the story of Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton, so you really should read the previous books to fully enjoy this one. Dante is experiencing more and more abilities along with getting some of his past memories back. Erin is still working to help Dante and unwrap what is going on. Dante Grandfather is slowly coming around but will it be enough. This is such a page turner of a series. You just can’t get enough and waiting for the next book giving you more incite into the mysteries that surround them.
Omg Helen has out done herself here. Dante is getting stronger by the day. More darkness is showing. I love that he finally told Erin. Their love is truly amazing. They have a bond like no other. The parts where they have sex and float into thin air was so good. It had me crying in some parts like where Erin was ready to risk her life and get pregnant to save the others. This is hands down the best books I have read this year. The ending was good but wished it didn’t stop. I can’t get enough of this. This is a must read for sure. The best Vampire books I have read. They need to make movies with this. Can’t wait until May to finish the series.
Dante is battling the darkness as it gets increasingly stronger. Erin is the light that grounds him. With Emelia and Lucy missing along with River’s Dad they know that time is running out for them to be found. The clues come from some very unexpected places. Can they make it to hell and back?
This book in the Blood Bond Saga is a little different than the previous ones. I think the characters spent a little more time searching for and finding clues and not quite as much fighting for their lives. By no means does this mean that Unmasked doesn’t have plenty of action. I have been hooked on this series right from the beginning. If you are looking for a good paranormal read that has just the right amount of romance and suspense grab Blood Bond.
Dante, Erin, River, Jay, and Julian sure have there world turning upside down. Dante knows what he needs to do, Erin is willing to do anything to help find the others and get the answers they have been searching for. But the ending…oh my! This cliffhanger is enough to drive you mad until May.
If I could give this more than five stars I would. The words to describe this labyrinth that leads the reader around is nothing less than SPECTACULAR. Dante is coming to grips with some new information that he has discovered. Erin knows something about Dante is changing but is having a challenge with getting him to open up. Dante’s grandfather is supposedly coming around to helping him by offering to tell Julian, his ghost of a son, what he knows. Erin’s mother comes to visit bearing gifts and a surprise relative comes out of the woodwork to give Dante the information he needs. Yet everything that they are learning points to one place. Is Dante willing to follow where the information leads? Can Dante keep Erin away from the danger? Do not be surprised if you are holding your breath as you read the words on the pages of this inspired work by Helen Hardt. Once again she has masterfully written the trials and tribulations that her characters have to endure that hopefully will gain them the answers they seek. The story ends in a cliffhanger that will have you awaiting your next feeding….I cannot wait to read the next book.
I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
I’m not sure how much more that I can take! I hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You think that “finally, there are going to be some answers”. Well, yes, you get some answers BUT then it raises more questions! Not sure that my heart can take it. My only complaint is that Dante needs to confide in someone on what’s going on with him! Whether it’s Erin or Julian or River, keeping it quiet just doesn’t bode well. There aren’t many authors and books that I’m willing to invest so much time in. Helen Hardt is the exception and she certainly does it well.
The mysteries. The questions. The lack of answers.
Where, When, Why and How? Will we ever know the answers?
The Blood Bond Saga has totally sucked me w, big time, and I Don’t Even Like Vampires!
Helen Hardt is most definitely an award winning author, if I’ve ever read one. This
This is an amazing series.
I highly recommend it.
Helen has definitely done it again. Unmasked pulls you in just as the parts before have. The Blood Bond saga is absolutely addicting. Definitely a mix of Fifty Shades meets True Blood with Twilight hints. I cannot get enough of Dante and Erin. The storyline is getting so much more intense. I need more. Cannot wait for Undefeated in May.
Holy cow! The Blood Bond Saga just gets better and better! Helen Hardt weaves one hell of a story in the continuation of this amazing series. Dante and Erin’s story will suck you in and won’t let go. I love this series and I loved Unmasked! I Can’t wait for Undefeated!
