Wow, I really loved this book. I loved seeing Ella finally become the women she was meant to be. She finally got rid of her vindictive a*sehole cheating ex-boyfriend Clayton Kerrington. He only wanted Ella because she made the perfect wife, beautiful, meek and easily controlled. I can’t believe after Ella caught him cheating on her with a Morgan waitress at Spire Maiden at because Ella told him no when he tried to push her to do more than she was comfortable with so he blamed it on her that if she finally gave it up, he never would’ve cheated on her and then she’d had enough so she went up to Paxton Nightwing and grabbed his face and kissed him very passionately in front of the whole club. It was awesome to see. Clayton didn’t take it well and then when she told him no again he threatened that if she doesn’t agree to become his wife, he’ll tell everyone that she’s a Morgan wh*re and that would bring the ultimate shame to her family as her mother was r*ped when she was younger by a Morgan and that’s why Ella’s parents hate Morgans. Clayton definitely shouldn’t even be called a human, as who would use someone else’s trauma/pain for there own gain. As you can tell I didn’t like Clayton at all. Ella also finally told her mum that her and Paxton are together and even though she loves her she has to do what makes her happiest, so she’s not going back home. I loved the connection between Ella and Paxton. Paxton was attracted to Ella from their first meeting. I loved seeing Paxton fighting for Ella on multiple times throughout this book. I loved the scenes when Ella was way out of her comfort zone but she still claimed Paxton in public twice. I’m glad Clayton finally got what he deserved. I thought this was a great way to end the series and I’m looking forward to reading the Vale of the Stars Series next as i get more Morgans. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
Oh my my…these Morgon men just keep getting hotter and sexier! And I really want one of my own.
I was so intrigued by Paxon in the first book. I needed more of him. And this story gave me exactly what I wanted and needed.
Ella is Jessen and Sorcha’s friend. She’s quiet, reserved, beautiful, pure, and unsure of herself and her talents.
Paxon, Mr. Sexy & playful Morgon, helps bring out her confidence and her inner sexual goddess. To see her break out of her shell and stand up for herself and take what she wants was fulfilling and made me route for her the entire way.
To watch their relationship get stronger and grow was a beautiful thing. The passion between them was delicious and strong made me crave more with each turn of the page.
The author is an amazing storyteller. I love how she makes me feel everything. Her descriptions are vivid and detailed and I feel as if I’m there in that wonderful dragon fantasy world.
If you love a well-written paranormal romance about sexy, possessive, and protective dragons, I can’t recommend this series enough!
