I have a habit. Big deal. I manage it and I live my life. I have my friends. I have women. To them, I’m the life of the party. Until her. I can see you, Rhys Morgan. Why’d she have to say that to me? Why’d she have to make me believe I could deserve happiness? The majority of the time we’re around each other we don’t even like each other. We only get along when we’re doing one thing and that’s … thing and that’s taking each other’s clothes off.
But now she’s getting in my head. She’s making me question why I do the things I do. Making me want more than I should. Making me believe I can actually have it.
Can I?…
If you’ve read 30 Days or 60 Days then you’ve met Rhys Morgan and Anniston Stone. This is their story. 90 Days (Morgan Family Series: Book Three) is a stand-alone, full length novel. It can be read without reading the other books in the series.
This book contains graphic adult content, mature language, sexual scenes, drug abuse, and talk of rape. It is suggested for mature readers only.

This is the third book in the series. Rhys and Anniston’s story was a very emotional read. This couple gave me so many oh my god moments. It had some of everything, love, hate, mystery and suspense. I laughed and cried with them through their whole journey. I was really routing for them. It is always wonderful to catch up with other couples from previous books. I would highly recommend this book, as well as the series.
Rhys Morgan is the type of guy who appears to have it all. He graduated school with honors and has a successful doctor for a father from a prominent family. He has no shortage of women willing to jump in bed with him and his devastingly good looks will insure that.
However, everything is not what it seems on the surface. Rhys has some serious underlying issues and is tormented by many demons. His life of the party facade he shows the world only masks his private despair.
His father was always exceptionally hard on him and often compared him to his older cousins, Cameron and Blake. Despite being a straight A student, his father always felt like he was a disappoinment. He felt like he was never good enough and would never love up to his father’s exceptionally high standards. To say they never had a close relationship would be an understatement. His father, Barrett, always put his practice first; before Rhys and before his wife.
Unfortunately at the impressionable age of 14, a deep dark family secret revealed itself and sent Rhys into a path of self destruction by the use of alcohol, women, and drugs.
Rhys is now 24 years old, addicted to cocaine and sex. He desperately wants a love like his cousin Cameron has with his fiance Memphis but he feels he doesn’t deserve it and will never be truly happy.
Which brings us to Anniston, Memphis’ little sister. Although protected from a lot of her drug addicted mother’s antics by Memphis, doesn’t mean her absence and addiction didn’t leave a negative impact on Anniston.
She has commitment issues of her own and often finds herself in the arms, or beds, of multiple men including Rhys. But none of them are like Rhys.
The situation was supposed to be simple; meet up for sex and then no contact until the next time they both needed their “fix”. Things started to get complicated and walls began to come down.
” I see you”. Anniston saw right through the person Rhys showed everyone else and realized there was a lot more to him than meets the eye. She started to make Rhys “want more than he should”.
Before be could figure it out , another wrench is thrown at him. This sends him on a horrible binder where he wallowed in a sea of sorrow and self pity. He had reached rock bottom and finally had that push he needed to go to rehab and take back his life.
Could a 10 year downward spiral be fixed in 90 days? Could he really redeem himself and overcome his addictions? Or will his families skeletons destroy him?
One of the things I admire about J L Leslie’s books is that she isn’t afraid to deal with real life issues. Her words are so powerful and really tug at the heartstrings. Her characters don’t run through a field of flowers and dance on cloud 9. They don’t have an instant HEA. They have ups and downs and they have to learn to build and earn it.
Her characters aren’t perfect. They are stubborn and vulnerable and even damaged. Some even a little broken.
J L will always flood you with a sea of emotions that all of us can relate to in some way or another. You’ll cry with her characters and hurt like they hurt but you’ll also fall in love with them too.
I love Anniston and Rhys together. They aren’t one of those meant to be couples but thats what makes them perfect for eachother. They both have some growing up to do and they both have their own addictions they can learn to overcome together. They have to take that leap of faith with eachother .
I have become an instant fan of J L Leslie from her very first book and definitely look forward to finishing the fourth and final book of this series, 120 days .
Gah! I loved this book so much! Rhys has now taken up my number one spot as best lead male character! This book was raw and full of sexual tension, love, hate, dramatic family dynamics, some juicy secrets are revealed and revelations made. I couldn’t get enough of this book and want more from this family that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with!
This is a intense read that is about a man and that has a addiction and are fighting their demons. This is a very intense dark read that has you on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs.
You’ve know by the last couple of books that something is up with party boy Rhys. His demons run deep and rather than deal with them he snorts them away. Anniston knows what she sees, but would rather turn a blind eye. A horrible event forces Rhys to take a hard look at his life and make serious changes. Anniston has always told Rhys that she sees him, but will she want to after this? Great story! I have devoured this series reading one right after the other.
Love how raw Rhys and Anniston’s relationship is. This book is love, hate, tension beyond belief, family situations, and secrets. Loved it
This was really sad and intense in places, as stories with addiction tend to be. We really see how addiction works in this–the hiding, secrets, denial. This turned into a great story and I really enjoyed the depth.
