This was such a sweet story. I truly enjoyed the way the supernatural aspect was woven in and how it was developed as the relationship grew between Hannes and Mattis. There was a moment I thought things would get more dramatic than the pages left in the story could sort out, but it was resolved quickly and well while still feeling a good amount of tension so it didn’t seem too easy. Similarly with the men, their connection was definitely there and they still took a reasonable amount of time to think about the gravity of what truly bonding would mean for them. Simple, sweet, and yet the type of deep that sticks with you and is believable.
Because of the nature of the binding that needed to happen between the two men this was a much spicier story than this author usually writes and I have to say, for someone who doesn’t always include the more prurient side of a romance, they did fantastically. It was just hot enough, just tender enough, just right for the men and the situation. But as with all their stories, they end too soon for me. Not because it wasn’t a good place to end the story, but because I always become so attached to the characters that I’m not ready to leave them. I always want to know more. 4.5 stars.
This is a very sweet read with two wonderful men, Hannes and Mattis, and the life they build together. Hannes is alone, missing the one person who’s always supported him, his Nana. As he moved into the house she left him, he finds a brilliant rabbit who seems to understand him. Hannes opens up to the rabbit while fixing the house and garden, which leads the rabbit to share a secret with him. A lovely read and highly recommended!!
A very sweet story with some heat at the end.
Nell Iris is one of my favorite authors of MM short stories. 9 Willow Street is longer, a short novella, but just as good as her short stories. Read the blurb because it’s good and tells you what you need to know about the story.
I loved how sweet this story was; who doesn’t like snuggly bunnies? When Hannes returns to the house he inherited from his Nana he is surprised to find a cute little bunny inside. The rabbit seems perfectly content to stay in the house and keep Hannes company.
Nell’s description of how Hannes and Mattis cuddle with each other just warmed my heart. There are a few surprises and complications before they can be together but love wins out in the end.
Another great story from Nell Iris which I loved.
A copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Super adorable! As always, Nell Iris manages to pack so much emotion with so few words. I just love her writing!
And bunny shifters? What’s not to love.

Such a sweet and cuddly story!!
Aww, I loved this story. Its the perfect feel-good, heartwarming story, complete with a fussy bunny and true mates. Hannes has lost his great-grandmother and best friend and is still grieving when an adorable bunny insinuates itself in his home and life. To Hannes’ utter shock the bunny turns out to be a man! Their connection started as Bunny and Human and has now grown to more as they find out they are each other’s heartbond.
The story is cute, sweet, healing and caring. I loved the connection between Hannes and Mattis/Mio. They are so sweet together and some of Mio’s bunny shenanigans are hilarious. I love a writer that can create a complete, well rounded and wonderful story with so few words!! I loved this sweet, feel-good read and recommend Nell Iris from now on!!
I’ve also got to say I just love it when the book cover matches the characters so perfectly!!!
