I don’t know where I am.
I’m the last of nine.
He calls me Faith, because he said that faith is blind.
That’s how he justified taking my eyes.
See No Evil.
That’s the role I play here.
If you can hear me.
If you can see me.
My name is Ione Winslow.

Deliciously depraved read. The warning gave me pause – ummm forced cannibalism – but seeing as how I have no triggers I thought I’d give it a shot. Finger crossed there weren’t any Dahmer-esque events. *Thankfully there aren’t any.
Daniel is a tall delicious drink of water. He’s got the looks and personality that give his victims a false sense of security. Then you meet the monster inside, the sadistic soul he hides from the public.
The story is presented through the eyes of the heroine. She’s been blindfolded and kept hostage in a basement. She has no semblance of time. She only knows others have come and gone. And that Daniel treats her as his personal “See No Evil” doll.
“[Nothing] could keep me from the things I wanted the most. Death and Daniel…There was something special in me that he saw, and that’s why he kept me around for as long as he did. He could have killed me first, but he didn’t; instead, saving me for last” – talk about a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome.
There are times when I thought I had the story figured out. I was certain that Faith had become a split personality for Ione. Then the world would shift and things weren’t so clear.
That sex scene with the eye…yes the EYE…and the other seemingly impossible sex act were cringeworthy. But then you witness the shampoo bottle. The writing is so good you can feel the pain the poor girl is experiencing.
I won’t spoil that cannibalism scene or the ending. Those you must read for yourself. You won’t be disappointed with this book. Let Daniel seduce you too.
8 Days For Salvation was a TOTAL MASTERPIECE!!! I am still in awe of this book! OMG. Yolanda Olson knocked this book right out of the park.
My jaw is still wide open.
While reading this book I was on the edge of my seat. I was so intrigued I didn’t know what to do. I was actually a little frightened to get up because I felt as if Daniel, one of the main characters who I consider the Boogieman was in my room. Daniel really can get into your mind and go to places that can haunt you.
Faith, the other main character is stronger than I think I could ever be.
When you start reading this book you will NOT want to stop reading.
In fact, it’s like how I LOVE scary movies. The Scarier the better. This is now my favorite scary book. I LOVE and am Scared of this book at the same time. It gets in your mind and makes your fears comes alive.
Thank you YOLANDA OLSON for giving me this book to read, enjoy, get scared and LOVE
OH WOW, WTH DID I JUST READ!!!!
This book is dark, Twisted, I enjoyed every minute of it although there was parts in this book that made me cringed.
But i liked the story and once I started i couldn’t put it down.
This book was insanity.
Seriously. There were parts where I cringed, held my breath, wanted to close my eyes. The things that happen…I didn’t want to know!!
But as I went along, things started to fall into place.
The characters, crazy as they may be, started to make sense.
And that ending!!
Definitely worth taking a chance on, and following through. Get ready for a wild ride!!
My first book by this author but it won’t be my last. Wow, it was dark, twisted, gross and a total mindf**k. I couldn’t stop reading until the book was finished. It is definitely not for everyone though.
