I just binge read through the first four Jessie Hays books and I’m still having hot flashes. Woah Nelly is this ever hot. Not a book I’d give to any impressionable girl but for me? Scrumptious. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. These books definitely deserve it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that this series of books is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend
Jessie and Salis is going fine then all of sudden it messes up. Then it gets straightened. Then it seems as if one person is always at crock of the mess Parker. Devin is married to Corey and gone after the disaster with his parents. Jessie now because of her coworker again is in trouble. Will Salis listen.
Fun, but Different.
Different than 1462. For the longest I couldn’t figure out why KC had named 720 the way she did, other than to keep all 4 books with a numbered title. SPOILER: It’s Jesse’s current abode.
1462, if you haven’t read it yet, is where Jessie discovers a whole new aspect of herself that assists to drive the ongoing plots of the rest of the series (I’m assuming, as I haven’t read #3 & 4 yet). 720 is where she builds all the male relationships she has, and she finds she is stronger than she ever knew. It holds a variety of twists and turns the reader could never see coming but that add spark to an otherwise engaging but sequential plotline. It ends on an “Oops, oh crap!” moment that is sending me straight to book 3.
Jessie and Silas are taking it slowly, Jessie not wanting to overwhelm Ruby with their relationship. Jessie’s exploring her newly discovered desires, and Silas is along for the ride. But there’s someone who will soon get in the way, and Silas allows it, to both their detriment, unfortunately.
But the real problem just may fall on Jessie’s shoulders, and Silas can’t seem to get past it, to the tune of not allowing Jessie to explain. Sigh…
I haven’t read the first part of this series, so I was a bit lost in the beginning, but once I started reading further, it was easy to pick up on what was going on not only between Jessie and Silas, but also Salinger, Devin and Corey. Of course the story ended with a cliffhanger so now I’m about the 1-click the next installment, 1700 Grant Street.
720 Linden Street is a sexy, fun look at a developing relationship. I wasn’t too thrilled with the cliffhanger or with Silas not allowing Jessie the chance to explain herself, but I have a feeling the next installment will see the two back together. At least, I hope so!
This is the second book in this series and I recommend reading the first book before reading this one. It builds on the first one. There are great characters, romance and intrigue. She has gotten into the BDSM scene and is enjoying it, but all is not fun and games. There are all kinds of intrigue and it keeps you reading to the end. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.
I loved it , but I hate it when I do not realize that a book ends in a cliffhanger. Do not get me wrong I am glad that I read it, but I just wish it was just one book, it is more like a serial.
Jessie is quirky and does not know quite what she truly needs in her life. That is until she meets Silas. Their relationship is rocky and I am truly enthralled by reading about their train wreck of a relationship. I like that they make each other happy, I guess to get my truly happily ever after I will have to read the next installments.
Delving into the world of Silas
—>>> Not having read the first book of Jessie’s story, we get a good idea of Silas’ role in Jessie’s life as a teacher into the world of BDSM and gradually as a man with whom she grows more and more deeply entranced with as well as his daughter. (Though he does have some negative points, namely a partner whose obvious hostility towards Jessie is something Silas does not seem to be aware of). Jessie is willingly navigating this deepening relationship with Silas, but they are not the only men who are influential in her life. She has an amazing roommate as well as a coworker she is becoming closer to. There are events which heavily test Jessie through her love and loyalty to those important to her, but she is a girl who realizes when it counts that she has the strength to really stand for what she believes in.
Second book in this series by KC Decker and these just get better. Silas and Jesse are still growing in their relationship, certainly not without hiccups and stumbles along the way. Devlin and Corey are growing in. their relationship as well. Poor Salinger needs to find someone of his own and quit mooning over Jesse….she’s in love with someone else.
Received a copy from Hidden Gems and this is my honest review.
Will Jessie ruin what she has with Silas
This is my 2nd book by the author and in the Jessie Hayes series. Jessie and Silas get into a groove of spending time with Silas’ daughter and discuss Jessie’s limits. Add in some unexpected news for Jessie’s roommate, Silas’ jealous business partner at 1462 and the plot twists keep you entertained. But will Salinger, Jessie’s work partner be the cause of another misunderstanding? You have to read to find out.
This book is a great BDSM romance. I enjoyed the storyline with its twists and turns. I really enjoy books with BDSM clubs where scenes are described. They are so hot! I’m kinda rooting for Sallinger too. Haha!
This series just keeps getting hotter, more drama filled, exciting and is becoming a psychological thriller. The characters are more defined and their lives are getting complex. Ruby is becoming attached to Jessie. Jessie is taking it slow with Silas so Ruby can get adjusted to her. But trouble is brewing at Silas’s BDSM club. Someone on the inside wants Jessie out of the way so they can have Silas all to themselves. A bitter rivalry is revealing itself. This causes Jessie and Silas to be at odds with each other. Jessie becomes a target of revenge. It is shocking the psychological games some people go to get what they want because Jessie and Silas are getting closer. Salinger is plunging full steam ahead into the BDSM world and has shocked Jessie. Jessie can’t help herself and finds herself curious and wants the details of his escapades. Devin has revealed his hopes and plans for him and Corey. One of his hopes is pinned on Jessie. She has no answer for him right now. I loved, loved, loved reading this. This is a must read. I highly recommend it.
Jessie and Silas are slowly moving along with their relationship, inside the BDSM club and outside. As with any life, things get complicated and you don’t get to see each other as often, this happens with Jessie and Silas. Jessie decides to show Silas how much she loves him with a gift. Not thinking it would upset him, or be inappropriate for their relationship. It’s hard for Jessie to figure out her next move with Silas as he’s been there and done it all within the BDSM world – at least in Jessie’s eyes. And he might have, he just hasn’t done them all with her and that is ultimately what he wants to do.
Silas and Salinger, Cory and Devin, the men in Jessie’s life. Cory and Devin are moving on and going to the next step. They want the American Dream, the house, the kids, the everything that comes with marriage. Silas wants it too, with Jessie. Salinger wants Jessie, but he is being a gentleman and giving her space. He is waiting on the sidelines for her to stumble and pick her up. After this book, I’m Team Salinger. Only because Silas is too much for me. He gets angry too quick, he gets jealous and possessive to quick. Everything is too quick with him. Salinger is patient.
I’m shocked that more people haven’t read these books. SHOCKED! They are good BDSM books. Nothing over the top and they have a good story to go with it. Which makes it even better. Sex and a good plot – win win!! Do yourself a favor and pick up this series.
Still lots of heat and characters ate interesting but story is little forced into cliffhanger to another in the series. This one ends in complete open ending…what will become of the relationship if there is any left? Did have to speed read some parts to keep read until the end but all in all somewhat entertaining.
I’m still trying to warm up to the characters. The book it’s self is well written and interest but the characters make it hard to really get into the book. But I’m going to preserve and read the next book in the series. Hopefully I’ll start warming up the the characters.
