She’s all glitz and glam, he’s rugged and broody. But when their worlds collide… there’s no dialing down the heat.Actor Bellarose Abbott finds herself completely out of her element the minute her private jet touches down in rural Washington State. The big hats and boots speak volumes that she isn’t in Hollywood anymore. But the producer of her latest TV series wants authentic ranch scenery as … ranch scenery as well as action, which means Bellarose must learn to… ride a horse?
Kingsley Yates, known by those that matter as King, has spent a lifetime dreaming of establishing his own thoroughbred horse bloodline on his ranch. To do that he needs one hell of a horse—with one hell of a price tag attached to it. Just when he thinks his dream’s out of reach, an offer lands in his lap that could mean the cash he needs. And a huge pain in his backside.
Having a famous actor shadowing his every move on the ranch is irritating enough, but does Bellarose have to be drop-dead gorgeous too? At every turn, he’s thinking of having his way with her when he should be teaching her the ropes to earn that cold, hard cash. Bellarose has dated a lot of gorgeous men, but those pretty boys have nothing on King. Could she be smitten with the hardened rancher or is this all from working closely? One thing’s certain—she’s never had a kiss, on or off-camera, as hot as King’s.

I loved this rancher he all hot and grumpy and lives in my favorite state Washington. Bellarose could not help falling in love with him. It was a really good love story with ups and downs and lovely heat. This was a great afternoon read you will be happy if you take a chance on it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
The celebrity and a rough & rugged rancher
I liked 6-pack Rancher. Bellarose & King are a wonderful couple. Bellarose is shooting a ranch based series. King’s ranch is one of the locations used for filming and he’s hired to teach her how to be comfortable and handle horses. Working closely together gets the chemistry between them going. Soon they can’t get enough of one another. They’re falling fast but this rough and tumble rancher can’t see how good he can be for the celebrity. A mistake is made that could be the end. I really enjoyed reading King and Bellarose’s story but was a little disappointed at the end. There was so much description throughout that I felt like I was there. It was romantic & steamy just as a great love story should be. It made me smile and tear up and then smile again BUT the end left me wanting more. More description, more of a glimpse in the future.
Country boy meets city girl is definitely the theme for the first story in Em Petrova’s brand new series Six-Pack Cowboys. As with previous series, the world building is appropriate to the plot and the characters are bold and strong, with personalities that capture and hold the readers attention.
King is a hard-working, solitary man, with hopes and dreams that have alluded him due to lack of finances, while Bellarose is a confident, and determined actor, with a commendable work ethic and plenty of grit. Their coming together is unconventional, but there is no denying the explosive chemistry that ignites from their very first meeting.
It’s obvious that Ms Petrova has penned the beginning of another addictive series and I’m sure that readers will thoroughly enjoy 6-Pack Rancher and be eager for what’s next in this series as much as I am.
I liked this first book in Em Petrova’s new series. I especially liked that the female lead, Bellarose wasn’t afraid to try unfamiliar things, and didn’t wallow in insecurities. She showed her strength in the way she approached life and the things that made her nervous.
King was a alpha male that battled insecurities; many from his childhood. He had dreams, but didn’t see a way to achieve them and felt he was undeserving of them.
King and Bellarose had strong chemistry. When they were together, it was obvious that they were stronger than when they were on their own.
This sexy, steamy cowboy romance has a layer of sweetness and love interwoven in the storyline that will have you excitedly anticipating book 2.

I am in love with King. Even though he is a gruff, stubborn, overworked cowboy, he is also a sweet and kind hearted man that just wants to raise thoroughbred horses. Life is not easy on the ranch. With working from sun up to sun down with no breaks in between, who has time for romance. When he is given an offer he can’t refuse that will get him the funds to buy his first thoroughbred horse, he doesn’t expect to be earning the heart of Bellarose as well. Things are changing quickly around him thanks to the invasion of Bellarose and her crew.
Bellarose is an Actor working on a new tv series but seems to be struggling with working with horses. Bellarose is a perfectionist and is given the opportunity to work and train with King. Just because she is a famous actor, King refuses to take it easy on her. He works her to the bone as she learns what is required to run a successful ranch.
As with any romance story, things are not always easy. Thanks to miscommunication, stress, and aggravation, the road to romance is bumpy….but the end result is so worth it!
Great, strong story line. fantastic characters (both main and secondary characters), easy to visualize description to detail, and nice, engaging dialogue.
Written as a 3rd person, multi pov.

Oh, boy…Em Petrova has set the bar high with this cracking start to her new series.
King and Bellarose are great characters, and their relationship develops at a believable pace. The differences in their lifestyles are a cause for humour, and the occasional misunderstanding.
What really makes this book a “must read” is the strong sense of place, and the realistic descriptions of life on a ranch.
Underneath the story threads of filming a TV series, and the growing romance between the grumpy rancher and the Hollywood star, is to follow your dream, and you are worthy…
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Kingsley a rancher content with raising his horses, never enough money. Lets them use the ranch for much needed cash.
Bellarine an actress filming on location who knows nothing about ranching.
Will he have to choose between Bellarine and his ranch? Join them on their journey.

Great start to a new series, I loved this cowboy…he was real. Bellarose is an actress, a Hollywood star and too good for him. In his eyes anyway. He doesn’t know of her career, she’s a woman that he is attracted to and that’s unique for her.
The scenery, the countryside, the characters (real and acting) were all so clear in my mind. I wondered if the author could give us a happy ending or break some hearts.
I thoroughly enjoyed this western romance and can’t wait for more in this series.
OMG, this is such a captivating and phenomenal story. 6 Pack Rancher will keep you hooked and yearning for more. Sexy cowboys, southern drawls, 6 pack abs, a sexy book packed full of hot cowboys.
6-Pack Rancher is the start of a new series by author Em Petrova and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I have about 9 authors that I have read every single book they have ever published and Em Petrova is one of them. Her books never disappoint in their steamy entertainment and character development.
King is a rancher 365 days of the year from sun up to sun down. At 35 years old, he has become resigned to the fact that his chances of ever marrying are extremely slim. His wife is his ranch and while lonely, he is fine with that.
Bellarose is stunningly beautiful. Captivating her audiences since she was 12, she is not your typical entitled actress. She is hard working and willing to learn just about anything to make her acting roles more realistic. Filming a western television series when she is scared of horses is definitely a challenge she will need to overcome. Enter King– a rugged, no nonsense rancher with horse training skills she desperately needs. While learning the necessary skills to be a rancher’s wife, somewhere along the way her heart started envisioning being King’s wife and making his ranch her home. Their story is about learning to trust one’s worth and coming to believe that the beauty of one’s heart and soul is enough to make the each other happy within a relationship. The materialistic is not the heart of a relationship, love is.
A solid read, entertaining from page one and sure to leave you longing for the second book in the series. My hope is that we will see Dickson returning to his ranch and finding his special love? Only Em Petrova knows for sure…

What a great start to a new series!!
I absolutely loved King!! He was a man who knew who he was and what he wanted. He didn’t try to be something that he wasn’t. He liked his life and was content. He was stern and demanding but yet he knew when to back off and give encouragement. My absolute favorite scene with him was when he watch Bellarose mow, he was still being protective but yet knowing that she needed to do this. He was also proud of her victory.
I like Bellarose. She was a individual that given her profession she could have been a spoiled brat. However, she was someone who took pride in her work and also her determination to do things herself. I admired her in many areas but especially when King asked her to do things that scared her. She admitted her fear but yet still did it.
I liked them as a couple. They seemed to be what the other needed and craved. I can’t wait to read more in this series.
This was a lot better than I expected and now I’m hooked on this author. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series and her other books too. Bellarose and King were so hot my kindle was burning. The story itself developed beautifully and it all made sense. The sex scenes were some of the best I’ve read. They weren’t overly long but were very detailed that it hooked you. And there were more than one so you got you’re able to get your fix without feeling like you were jipped.

Sign me up for a stint at that Washington ranch. A fun and sexy read that is great for an after work read or a Sunday afternoon story. No real angst, just two people from differing worlds coming together in this very nice story. It also had me laughing out loud a couple of times.
I received a complimentary copy from Booksprout.
King is a rancher, not looking to get hitched, living a hard life that’s not exactly husband material.
He’d like to focus on his horse breeding but needs the cold hard cash to buy the better horses.
Along comes Hollywood princess Bellarose who is working on a western show and she needs to learn how to ride.
So it’s off to Washington state and King.
Will King have to choose between a dream of a thoroughbred horse or Bellarose?

Lighthearted romance between a country rancher in Washington and a Hollywood actor. She is filming a multi-part program which is using his ranch as part of the scenery. She needs him to teach her the ins and outs of a ranchers wife. Of course there is some miscommunication and drama before HEA. Nicely written and very entertaining.
