Isabelle Marsh, is a 28 year old: a full-figured woman who after a bad break-up flies to Europe to seek a break from her present reality. With the help of family living in Italy, Isabelle experiences more life in just a short time, than even she could have dreamed. Will Isabelle’s past try to destroy the happiness she is fighting to create? And will she have the courage to reach for it.
OMG where do I even begin?
I loved Isabella, I loved the boys(yum), I loved the story as a whole.
Each character is perfectly developed with different personalities, qualities and flaws.
The relationshis felt so natural, and even got a few surprises on the way.
As for the ending… yeah, you’ll have to get there by yourself, but it’s totally worth it.
(Between us… I’m still recovering from it)
No spoilers of any kind included.
So all I’m going to say about 4 Eternity is I absolutely loved it!
Elizabeth G. Ellis nailed it, she managed to throw all the things that hook me instantly in a story at the first chapter and she kept me sitting on the edge of my seat right up until the very end where I was left wanting more.
I’m looking forward to reading more of her work in the future!
So it’s definitely going to be a big HECK YEAH I do recommend this book because I loved it and I think you will too!
This was a beautiful modern adult fairytale with vampires and destined soulmates and I loved it. I enjoyed every page and every twist and turn of the plot, as well as the characters and the whole idea.
This story was a complete surprise as well, because I was familiar with darker short stories by this writer, I have been following on a social media platform. I have enjoyed the author’s work from the beginning, so naturally I got this book immediately when I realised that her story was featured here. And as expected, she fulfilled all my expectations and more.
The story focuses on Isabelle who suffers an incredible disappointment and betrayal and decides to take a break from her life and visit her aunt in Italy. Although at times Isabelle might seem a bit insecure, it is not so. She is a strong woman who know exactly what she wants and what she does not want in her life, and she will not accept any kind of mistreatment to please the ones who claim that love her but are trying to take advantage of her. Unfortunately, some of her closest people in her life were such and she did not have much opportunity to experience life to the fullest.
All of that changes when she arrives to her aunt’s estate and meets her uncle and four mysterious friends of theirs. Well, she meets Collin right away as she is her designated escort for the journey to Italy. There she meets Trevor, Michael, and Alexander and the romance starts.
The idea is sweet and beautiful and in combination with the authors poetic expression and beautiful writing style, it is nothing short of magical fairytale with a happily ever after conclusion. It is even better because the author does not waste time on forgiveness for those who do not deserve it but instead lets the main character give them a piece of mind. That was incredibly satisfying.
The characters are wonderfully developed, and the growth of their relationships is beautifully done. There are some beautifully written hot and steamy parts, as well and the chemistry between the characters is palpable, as is the love between Isabelle and her aunt. I liked everything about this story and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Unlike the original version published in the anthology, this is an extended version which contains some extra scenes and the epilogue and may I add, some stuff we’ve been all waiting for.
