I’m country, through and through.I keep to myself, minding my father’s land and take care of my two younger brothers.I like to think of myself as a law-abiding citizen.I mean – what the law doesn’t know doesn’t hurt, right? My life was simple and neat, until little Miss Shyla showed up one day.The feisty woman was determined to put me in my place, however she was expecting to meet a boy, and not a … she was expecting to meet a boy, and not a man.

4 southern stars!
I really enjoyed the way this book came together. There were elements of surprise, laughter, love, and suspense.
When these two meet again, there’s so much tension coming out of the pages; I loved every minute of it. Clyde is definitely someone worth fighting for, and Shyla does! It’s not often you see a book where the heroine is trying her hardest to win back the hero’s heart. It was refreshing.
I was surprised with a few things that happened, twists I didn’t expect.
I definitely recommend this book, who doesn’t love a sexy tattooed cowboy with no shame in skinny dipping in his pond?

3 Times the Heat by Sapphire Knight . Sapphire Knight is one of my favorite authors, and she definitely did not disappoint with this read. I loved the storyline and each and every character she introduced to us in this book. Sapphire gave us a little bit of everything to touch on all of our emotions while reading this story. This read will have laugh, cry, swooned, blushed and even get angry. I was so attached to each page that I could not put the book down, and wanted to know what was gonna happen next. 3 Times the Heat the story of Clyde and Shyla in which are high school sweethearts. Clyde is a country boy who had to not only take care of his fathers land, but take care two younger brothers right out of high school due to his parents were in a fatal car accident. So not only did he lose his parents that year, but he also was heartbroken due to the of his life/ girlfriend Shyla left him and moved away. Shyla loved Clyde and his family but she knew that he would do anything for her and she did’nt want him to feel responsible for her and she wanted to succeed on her own. Breaking his heart was the only thing she could do,she had to free him and herself so they could move forward. Her schooling was important to her and if he knew she couldn’t go were he was going he would throw his plans away to follow her. Shyla didn’t want that hanging over them. 3 Times the Heat was literary perfection and couldn’t put it down. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.
Who doesn’t love a gorgeous cowboy with a huge side of family loyalty. 3 Times The Heat is a second chance romance with a lot of angst, drama and heat that will melt the screen off your Kindle. Clyde has a protective wall around his heart since his high school sweetheart Shyla broke his heart in front of the whole town and then some, all those years ago. His life now focused on working his parents farm and still looking out for his younger brothers is what Clyde keeps his mind and hands busy with. Shyla let the one and only man she ever loved go, thinking she was doing what was right for him, but it is time to go home and finally claim who has always been hers. Their story is an emotional roller coaster as one of them is determined to give her heart back to the man who always owned it and the other is hell bent on keeping his locked away from the only person who can totally shatter it. 3 Times The Heat is full of secrets, drama, flirty and sexy moments and a love so strong that it was always going to stand the test of time.
Sweet, swoony, and scorching hot! 3 Times The Heat was a second chance romance that totally melted my heart. This is the kind of book you can pick up, sit back, and get completely lost in. I was curled up in my comfy reading chair for hours totally wrapped up in Shyla and Clyde’s story. Overflowing with sweep you off your feet romance and moments that had me cracking up I had a blast reading this.
Clyde was one hot, sexy, stubborn alpha. He. Was. Delicious. It was obvious how much he still loved Shyla, but this stubborn southern gentleman made her work for it. Shyla was adorable. Completely determined to win back her man she pulled out all the stops, resulting in a story with sparks flying everywhere. These two were wonderful to read!
An emotional angsty, witty, and heartfelt story of love, loss, and discovering that there is always a second chance. Sapphire Knight never ceases to amaze me.
This book was an intensely sexy, slow burn romance that captured my heart from the start and didn’t let go.
I’ve been reading all the angsty romances lately so I’ve been needing a new Sapphire Knight book to bring me out of the emotional overload book fun, and this sexy as hell, cowboy, second chance romance is exactly what I needed.
Clyde is the hottest, alpha cowboy EVER. Seriously the chemistry between Clyde and Shyla was EXPLOSIVE, seeing the love and hope blossom throughout the story was stunning. The background to their love story was really well done, and seeing the way he learns to trust her again was beautiful.
3 Times the Heat is an addictive, sexy, easy read, the perfect book hangover cure, lazy day read, and anything in between. Prepare for your kindle to be 3 times the heat
Clyde and Shyla’s story was amazing! I enjoyed her relentless pursuit to win back the man she loves. The woman lost him once and is willing to do whatever it takes to get his attention.
Clyde had his heart crushed by the woman he loves with all their family and friends as witnesses. The last thing he wants is to give her the time of day.
A relatively low angst second chance romance mixed with Southern charm and a bit of steamy goodness. Clyde is the typical stubborn alpha male and even when I wanted to shake him, I couldn’t help but like him. I did get a bit frustrated with Shyla’s manipulations to get back in Clyde’s good graces. With opening after opening, I kept wondering why she wouldn’t just tell him rather than play more games. We do have a small bit of drama in the last quarter of the story that left me somewhat confused about what it actually added to the story, but all in all, it’s an easy read of second chances and never forgetting your first love.
