When food blogger Anna Matthews takes a vitamin supplement that thrusts her back in time to 1996—and into her sixteen year old body—she is naturally a little shocked. But after a hasty re-assimilation, she decides to take advantage of this amazing second chance to view her teenage years from a more mature perspective. But with the effectiveness of each dose only lasting twelve hours, and any new … and any new actions initiated in the past having no effect on the future, Anna wonders whether taking it again would serve any purpose.
Of course, curiosity gets the better of her, and she soon becomes addicted to travelling back in time to relive what she originally believed to be some of her best memories.
Knowing that her husband grew up in the same area—and with him unwilling to talk about the past—Anna decides to track him down in 1996. But an unexpected discovery forces her to make a heartbreaking decision that will change both her and her husband’s future forever.

What a fun book! This time-travel chick lit book is perfect for a quick, fun read. It’s part of a series and I can’t wait to read book 2.
Such a fun book that takes you back to the nineties! I loved how the time traveling was combined with all the feel-good vibes and a big splash of romance.
LOVED this book! It was a complete flashback to my childhood and I loved the sweet romance. I couldn’t wait to finish it so I could read the sequel, “1997.”
I enjoy quirky books that are a little different and this one met the criteria. I didn’t realize, though, that it was part of a series and that the story wasn’t complete when I finished the book. That was disappointing to me and I’m not planning to read the other books to find out how the main character gets on with her life. That’s the only reason I gave this book four stars instead of five.
I found this book interesting and the characters were well developed. The way the author matched the time-traveling with chicklit was interesting. I enjoyed the book.
It was a fun easy and enjoyable read.
It was a good read but not good enough to read the next book.
Going back in time to high school because of a mysterious supplement… at best a poolside read or bus commute. Not invested enough to purchase the next in the sequence.
Fun book with some nice twists. I want to read the others.
Lighthearted adventure, I think the theme of wanting to have a redo in life is something many of us can identify with.
Liked the book, good characters, but the HEA is in the followup book, 1997. Original, entertaining.
You do not get the whole story until you read 1997. It was an interesting concept going back and forth from today back to when she was in high school. Characters were ok. Maybe a younger person would enjoy it more.
I loved the turn back time story! It was super cute. I even read the sequel: 1997.
I really enjoyed this book and hope to read the next one in the series soon!
Fun take on time travel!
This is a totally original story, and I actually had to buy the 2nd book to see how the story ends.

Cute Peggy Sue got married Revisited
I thought it would fun checking out the 90s again. So did Anna! This is a quick read that will take you back to your sixteen-year-old self no matter your age.
I love flashback books, especially anything dealing with the 90’s. This book was good on many levels. First, it was funny and the characters were believable and likable. I really enjoyed the story and felt very invested in the outcome. Another thing I really liked was that there weren’t a lot of the normal plot holes that often occur with time travel. I thought it was well written and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series as well as any other book this author has written.
A good time travel story just didn’t the profanity.
