Filled with the pulse-pounding intrigue that has made James Patterson the world’s #1 bestselling writer, 15th Affair proves that all is fair in love, war, and espionage.
This book was great! I had read the 14th book a while ago so it was hard to jump right in because I had forgotten some of what went on in the previous. They didn’t really have a cohesive feel anyway. But I love these books because they are quick reads and suspenseful. Each chapter ends in a cliffhanger and it makes me keep reading. They aren’t the highest quality mystery/suspense novel but they make for a great quick read.
Have all the books in this series and recommend all of them!
Love James Patterson books! This was one of his best.
I love the Women’s Murder Club series and this was was no exception! It has the all suspense and excitement that you expect from a James Patterson book and it was a page turner from beginning to end.
Awesome book
i haven’t read it but i like James Patterson books that are amazing and like to read it and i thin that he is an awesome writer because i have read about 4 or 5 of his book and they are amazing
James Patterson is the best at his craft. All his books are great.
After 4 people lie dead in the Four Season Hotel, it becomes clear that not only is this A Professional Hit but it has all the signs of the very complexity’s attached to All main departments of CIA, FBI, HOMELAND SECURITY AND A Host of FOREIGN NATIONALS…
As with all ‘Women’s murder club series, The plot is intertwined with all of the main characters lives – who are best friends as well as high up in their individual professions – The girls spend all their energies all the girls helping each other, along with solving crimes and ‘Being There’ for each other! Meeting once a week come rain or shine, not only in their most favourite places but eating and drinking their most favourite foods!
Lynsey Boxer as the character who holds all the people together has to face the possibility she married ,,, not the love of her life – as she always thought of Joe Monalari – but someone who she did not know!.
Well written as always James Patterson keeps you guessing, entertained, loving all the different personalities and gives you a gripping ride to the last page.
I adore the Women’s Murder Club series, but this book just does not fit. It’s practically all Lindsay, all the time. Claire is my favorite character in this series and she made one tiny appearance in this book.
romantic
Love the Women’s Murder Club series. The characters come alive for you.
I’ve read all of the Murder club with Lindsay boxer by James Patterson! All are very good books !
Love the Women’s Murder Mystery Club series.
But this is not their best. Wish there was a new one, without cutting corners or skimping on character building and interaction.
If you read the series of course you are going to read this one but I think unless the next one is really great and back on track this series may be doomed.
The main story is good but I dont like where they went with Joe and Lindsay. If you want to break them up fine but thats not what this series is about.
This series is suppose to be about the murder club and yes it should have relationship stuff in it but they should not focus on that. Its suppose to me about solving murders and the relationships of the 4 strong women characters! You could easily skip this one and not miss a beat.
I enjoy the “women’s murder club’ books by Patterson. They are like visiting family. This one left me with questions about Lindsey’s future but then I’m sure that will be addressed in the next book. I was also disappointed that she ‘lost’ her Explorer!! Can’t wait to see what she will end up with next. 🙂
I really enjoy the characters and how easily it is to be drawn right into book.
SFPD detective Lindsay Boxer is called to a hotel where three people have been murdered in two rooms while the security cameras malfunctioned. It’s seeming like a fairly normal case until she begins to learn who the victims were. And until her husband Joe crosses the radar as a person of interest in the case. Only Joe has vanished. What is going on?
I’ve been wanting the women in this series to work on a big case again, which they do here. Unfortunately, Yuki is lucky to get a cameo, and Clair and Cindy provide a clue each and are sidelined for the rest of the book. To make matters worse, Lindsay blows everything with Joe out of proportion and comes off looking very immature and childish as a result. The cliffhanger from the previous book is ignored while this book stops with another cliffhanger. And I do use the word stop on purpose. At least the mystery was decent.
I liked the way this 15th book started. I liked the action in this story. I liked the scenes with the Women’s Murder Club. I liked the scenes with Lindsay & Julie. This book’s story line was kind of confusing & boring. I wish this story had more action.
I like the women’s murder club. The characters are rich. They are like sisters. each of them brings something to the case they are working on. Lindsey and Claire are extremely close. Yuki and Cindy are a little younger. They are a great team. They also have loving husbands that help them out. Cindy has a fiancee who is Lindsey’s partner. Lindsey is a cop. Claire is a coroner. Yuki is an assistant prosecutor. Cindy is a reporter. It is not a police procedural. It is not a cozy mystery I really enjoy those. But I enjoy these.
