These Bear Shifters might not have a lot of money, but they’re rich in what counts.
The 120 Proof Honey Ultimate Box Set is here! Contains the following stories:
Daxton: Blair Mason was a woman with a one-track mind, and that track was work. From sunrise to sun down, all she thought about was how to keep her small town grocery store open. That meant hard decisions, the type Blair was in the midst … decisions, the type Blair was in the midst of making when she was rudely interrupted by a tall man. A tall handsome man. Oh, there were things other than work after all!
Daxton Holt thought getting his honey on Mason’s shelves would be simple. Walk in, flash a smile and fill out some paperwork. But this owner was something else. She saw right through his charms, pushing him to really sell his product. He liked that, and he liked her. A feisty little minx is sweeter than any honey his bees made…
Knox: Jasmine has always known that life wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair that all her hard work keeping a home wasn’t appreciated. It wasn’t fair that none of that time counted as “experience,” but she was desperate so she had to take whatever there was. Stepping off the bus, she reminded herself that life didn’t have to be fair, but it did have to be survived. As soon as she laid eyes on the handsome man who answered the door, she remembered something she’d suppressed for a long time: life had it’s sunny moments as well.
Knox Ryker didn’t really like this whole idea of getting a housekeeper. Yes, five guys living together could take it’s toll on a place. Yes, Dax’s new girlfriend had a point: it was a pigsty. But having a stranger come over to root through your things just didn’t feel right. But once he laid eyes on Jasmine, he had feelings of a totally different sort.
Amir: Just get in, get the scoop, and get out. Kora Lane stepped out of her air conditioned car and into the blazing heat of this muggy Ozark valley. Her boss had sent her down here to sniff out a story: a local honey harvester was producing illicit moonshine on the side. The tip came in from an anonymous source, but she never passed up a juicy tip. Now she just had to get past this gorgeous mountain of a man that answered the door…
Amir Thorne was a man with a secret. No matter how low key he tried to play it, there was always a type of woman who could sense it. Usually they took his disinterest as a clear signal to move on. But every now and then, you’d get one that just wouldn’t let go. As soon as he saw Kora, he knew what type she was…
Beck: Don’t put that in your mouth. Don’t push your brother. Please stop crying. Harmony just needed to get through this day of nannying. The little boogers in her charge were turning their trip to the county fair into a competition of who could cause a migraine the fastest. She spotted a honey stand and thought a few sweet treats might win her a moment’s respite. She spotted the owner of the stand and thought about something other than honey…
It wasn’t that Beck hated kids: he just wasn’t used to them. All the crying, the erratic behavior and the tantrums were just too much. He had a feeling his reluctance on the topic of children was why he and his girlfriend of four years had to call it quits. There are some things you just can’t compromise on, no matter what.
Slade: Veronica Harper was ready to let bygones be bygones. She’d spent enough years fighting tooth and claw to know that nobody won in a drag out brawl. It was better for all parties to come to the peace table. But being the leader of a Bear Shifter Clan meant many things, the most important of which was to be the kind of leader that the rest of the Clan would follow. That meant never losing face. Even if the person you’re staring down is a handsome hunk with more charm than he realizes.

120 Proof Honey Ultimate Box Set is comprised of five (5) stories. Each can be read as a standalone, and are worth the read. I previously received each book separately; below are my voluntary reviews.
* Daxton is a quick and enjoyable read. Blair is a business women trying to keep her store open, and has no time for romance. Daxton is a charming business man, who has to pull out all the stops to get Blair to take him seriously. Both are sensitive individuals, perfect for one another. This book had action and romance, which grabbed my attention, and kept me entertained. I am looking forward to the next book.
* Knox is well-written with imagery that evoked emotions effectively. Jasmine is sweet and relatable. Knox is chivalrous and endearing. I love them as a couple. This book had romance, action, and mystery. The romance aspect, left me pleased with Jasmine and Knox’s HEA; and made the story worth the read. The mystery aspect, left me yearning for a clearer resolution. Hopefully, I will get some fulfillment in the next book.
* Amir is a quick and enjoyable read. Kora is driven to the point of obsessive. Amir is trusting and endearing. I liked his influence on her, and her growth as a person. I also appreciated their progression as a couple. This book is a perfect addition to the series. It cleared up things from the previous book. Looking forward to next book.
* Beck is a quick read, and a great addition to the series. I liked all the characters in this book. Harmony and Beck enter into a relationship with secrets. I enjoyed the realistic progression of their courtship. I also found Logan to be adorable, and had nothing but smiles for him. Hopefully Rachel’s wish comes true in the next book.
* Slade is a quick and enjoyable read. Slade is the leader of the cohesive Walker clan. Veronica is the leader of the chaotic Harper clan. Though enemies, there is an attraction between them. I loved the progression of the story. I was overjoyed with the final outcome. It is an awesome conclusion to the series, and I have nothing but smiles for this book. I can’t wait to see what else Becca Fanning has up her sleeves.
Daxton Blair has a problem. The profits in her store are slowly going down . Blair hates what she is seeing and she hates what she needs to do . If the profits keep on going down , Blair will need to lay some of the workers . That’s when Daxton walks in . Daxton gives Blair an idea about how to improve her inventory and sales. It’s about buying local . Daxton tells Blair she should start with the honey . There is a reason why Daxton suggested honey.

Jasmine and Knox feel a connection as they get to know one another. He is a bear shifter and really wants a better life for her. He is willing to do anything to protect her once he learns she is in danger. She is a young woman pushed into a marriage she did not want and is eager for independence and freedom from her ex’s control.
Amir Amir Thorne was a man with a secret. No matter how low key he tried to play it, there was always a type of woman who could sense it. Usually they took his disinterest as a clear signal to move on. But every now and then, you’d get one that just wouldn’t let go. As soon as he saw Kora, he knew what type she was. Kora wants a scandalous story, one that will help her further her career and sell more papers. Even with no obvious moonshine around, she knows Amir is hiding something and she will do whatever it takes to expose it to the public. Amir finds Kora attractive and would like to get to know her better, but she is hiding her true intentions from him.
Beck Harmony was a nanny and had spotted a honey stand and thought a few sweet treats might win her a moment’s respite. She spotted the owner of the stand and thought about something other than honey. It wasn’t that Beck hated kids, he just wasn’t used to them. All the crying, the erratic behavior and the tantrums were just too much. Harmony has found it difficult to date after men find out about her son. She has resolved to not tell Beck right away after he expressed his dislike of children. Beck, of course, has no plans of telling her he is a bear shifter. They both have secrets, and secret have a way of being found. Harmony convinces Beck to spend some time with her and her son, so he can make an honest decision.
Slade Slade Walker knew things were tense. This Clan rivalry was close to spilling into a war, and he didn’t know how many casualties would be on each side. But these women just wouldn’t leave his Clan alone. From the problem with the hives to the fires and now this, someone had to make it clear to them that this was unacceptable. Slade, the Alpha, watched all his clan pair off with wonderful women. Slade has had too many problems with women and does not know if he will continue to search. He is also fed up with the female Shifter Clan attacking them and he would like a peaceful resolution. Veronica is in a difficult situation and her clan’s inability to follow orders is making being Alpha that much more difficult.
I cannot stress just how disappointed I was with this set especially after reading Bearly Fated Mate. I was sadly surprised by the fact that all 5 stories seemed to be based on one plot and just the names and details were changed. Also, the total sum of pages was 201 so each story was approximately 45 pages. Nowhere was it mentioned that these were novellas. I was expecting at least 500 pages and to have paid $4.99 for this was the last straw.
