Valvoline Ethyl Grey, the youngest sibling and only daughter in the Grey clan, knows the rules when it comes to Alpha-human relationships—it’s fine to have a little fun, just don’t get too attached, unless you want a one-way ticket back to a homeworld that’s never been home. Skeeter Bite Sheriff Wyatt Campbell is as easygoing as they come, but even he has his limits. At first he thought Vee … thought Vee wanted to keep their romance under wraps to protect him from a butt-kicking from one—or all—of her six brawny older brothers. Since they seem to like him well enough, that can hardly be the case. Now he just has to convince his commitment-shy girlfriend to take a chance. She already has his heart. Why not his ring?
A woman raised among oblivious humans in a super-secret alien colony in Alienn, Arkansas should know better than to have a super-secret love affair with a human, let alone a sheriff. But strong-willed Valene is all too weak when it comes to a certain tall, blond and utterly scrumptious lawman.
Although he comes to her family’s aid when they need him most and vows to keep the secret from other humans that aliens live among them, Valene is determined to sacrifice her love for Wyatt’s greater good.
Wyatt has other plans.

4 stars – It was really good
Valvoline Ethyl Grey is the youngest sibling and only daughter of the Grey clan. She knows when it comes to Alpha-human relationships that she can’t get attached because it’s a one way ticket back to the homeworld that isn’t her home. But Skeeter Bite Sheriff Wyatt Campbell is someone she can’t resist.
This was a very good forbidden love alien romance. Valene resisted her attraction to Wyatt for a long time but once they were together she didn’t want to let him go but she knows she has to. This was a very emotional book because you could feel their heartbeat at separating but there wasn’t much that could be done unless Wyatt gave up his family. Clearly, since this is a romance, things do work out in the end for both of them but it was a very emotional rollercoaster ride up till then.
I really enjoyed Valene and Wyatt’s story. I love a good forbidden love story and this one had just the right amount of anguish and hope. I think this might be my favorite couple of this series, outside of Diesel and Julianna. I really want to see Aunt Dixie find love now. She is a hoot and I would totally read a book about one of her adventures.
Relationships between the races is not allowed no matter what. She meets him but he is a human while she is an alien. He loves her and wants to marry her but he does not know she is not allowed to even date him let alone marry him. Will her family find out? Will she be sent back home? see how they will deal with it all

Valene the youngest of the Grey children and the only girl. Oh yah, she is also an Aliens from Alpha Prime and helps with the Big Bang Truck Stop/space station in Aleinn, Arkansas. Her problem is that she is in love with the sherif, Wyatt Campbell who is unfortunately human. Their laws don’ t allow them to get married and remain on earth. If she takes him to Alpha Prime, he will never see his family again and she doesn’t want him to come to resent her. Now what?
This is a great cozy romance with a lot of adventure thrown in. The writer has developed amazing personable characters that make the story come to life. The dialogue is brilliant -serious, humorous, and romantic- adding so much to the story. When major events happen they have to join forces to ensure the safety of everyone. It is an emotional rollercoaster for Valene as she goes through all the obstacles thrown her way. The alien gadgets, the space port, the medical supplies and the weapons are so creative and make the aliens seem plausible. It is an enjoyable cozy romance that is worth a read.

When you let love be your strength and your guide! Valvoline Ethyl Grey, youngest and only girl with 6 brothers. Sheriff Wyatt Campbell, 2nd of 5 kids thought their relationship was on the downlow because of her 6 brothers. This story takes place in Skeeter Bite, Ak home of Chili Cook-off. Her oldest brother was head of the AK group. If they married, they’d need to return to her planet. If they did not, his memory of her woudl be erased. Valene has the pressure of how to satisfactorily resolve her relationship crisis with a man who adores her and wants to marry, without revealing the existance of her people and her world. On top of the crisis dilemma, there are escaped criminals to recover and an unbalanced stocker to contend with. This couple has some disasterous, seemingly impossible challenges while only 50% of the couple aware of aliens. Can Valene find a solution? How long will Wyatt’s patience last? Can theywalk away from everything familiar and everyone they love? Your heart will laugh at the antics and cry for their dilemma. Excellent contribution to the series. Wonderful characters, too funny! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Cute, funny, romantic, with a mix of psycho stalker and escaped criminals, including one that has escaped multiple times. This story had me happy and sad with the conflict that Valene was going through with having a human boyfriend. Then there was the excitement of the hunt for the escaped prisoners. And the crazy stalker girl. She was nuts! This series is awesome! I hope for many more to come.

The fourth book in the Alienn, Arkansas series and they just get better. Valvoline Ethyl Grey and Sheriff Wyatt Campbell of Skeeter Bite are going to have a lot to overcome before they get their happy ending. When this series is finished I will be rereading them all again. I found myself laughing at things throughout the story. I especially like the Aunt! I recommend. This is a fun series about the Grey family. There is some implied sex but no details. This book is about the baby sister and her secret boyfriend. The characters in this book are wonderfully written. (I’m still in love with the oldest brother from the first book.) Of course, Aunt Dixie and Miss Penny do the investigation. Kick back and enjoy this little bit of silly fun and romantic drama.

This is another book in the Alienn, Arkansas series and it brings just as much fun, laughter and loveliness as the other books so far in this series. In this book we meet Sheriff Wyatt and Valene. Valene of course comes.with a long list of rules but she has broken them by secretly dating the town sheriff. Wyatt believes that his relationship is a secret to protect him from Valene’s brothers. He has no idea, dating a human is a highly punishable offense. What happens when Valene comes clean in who she is? Does her family accept Wyatt or is she punished? Can Valene get her HEA? This book is well worth the read to find.out.

10 Things Aliens Hate About You
Alienn, Arkansas Book 4
Fiona Rourke
The book was funny and fun. I couldn’t put it down from the first page to the last. The characters were great. The dialogue was fun, and the storyline was engaging. You won’t want to miss it. A great story!!
Aliens have been living on Earth for a long time now, their human neighbors not suspecting a thing due to the strict rules that govern them. Recently, their home planet, Alpha-Prime, awarded the Big Bang Truck Stop — their home base — the contract to be a galactic way station for prisoners on their way to “the big house”. Valene, an alien who knew the rules, let herself fall for a local human, Skeeter Bite’s Sheriff Wyatt Campbell. And all these facts are going to cause a bit of turmoil for everyone.
In Skeeter Bite, Arkansas, Valvoline Ethyl Grey (“Valene”) and a crowd of people waited to hear who won the chili cook-off held every year. The winner was a young newcomer, the owner and operator of Critters Café, Daphne Charlene Dumont. This was her first year, first contest, and only her own staff applauded while everyone else was in shock. The audience declared that the winning chili actually was NOT the best and it turned into a shouting match. One of the contestants threw a bowl of chili at the crowd and Valene’s favorite top was ruined. Aunt Dixie and her friend, Miss Penny, tried to talk everyone down, but no one heard her – so they grabbed chili as well and tossed it into the raging battle. At the sound of a police siren, the crowd turned and ran, leaving a dripping Valene standing there with Aunt Dixie, Miss Penny, and a few remaining chili-splattered attendees to face law enforcement. Sheriff Wyatt Campbell tried to gruffly ask what was going on, but he was having a hard time keeping himself from laughing at the sight.
Why was it Wyatt who responded to this call? Valene had been secretly dating him, even though she would have to return to her planet if this was discovered, and she was about to break up with him to protect them both. But he loves her, is devoted to her, and wants to marry her and start a family! Could she bring herself to marry him, knowing he would have to leave Earth and his family? Or should she walk away from the man she loved. How will she decide?
This was another terrific book in this series!!! Those who read the Nocturne Falls series will feel right at home with this one. The characters are amazing and totally likable. The story line has plenty going on to keep the reader laughing, with the chili disaster and escaped alien prisoners, which you really have to read about! It is easy to see how this is a series not to be missed! Be prepared for lots of laughter, love, and fun along the way!
i have read Book 1 and now Book 4 in this series. First I want to say even though I have not read the books in between yet, I was not lost at all. There were a few references to previous books but it didn’t take from the story. Valvoline Grey, an Alien, is in love with Wyatt, a mortal. That is a no-no. So what’s a girl to do? She must make a choice. What will she decide? And, will Wyatt let her make a decision that concerns them both. And on top of their love life issues, there are Aliens that have escaped from a prisoner starship bound for another planet. Take a fun ride and read the Alienn, Arkansas books. Lots of fun and mischief. No sex scenes either, which is a plus.

This is a well written book with strong characters and a fun and entertaining story line. The author brings an interesting story and fills it with enough drama and intrigue, adding tons of humor as well as the steamy romance between Valene and Wyatt. The supporting characters help to bring the story to life and to move fluidly. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Valene has done the unchangeable. She fell in love with her hunky human beau, Sheriff Wyatt. To marry, they would have to leave the only world both have ever known. No contact for him with his family ever again. The alternative? Memory wipe.
When a dangerous criminal escapes, can they count on his help?
Diesel got lucky and discovered his now wife was part Alpha, with royal blood.
Axel fell for the wrong sister in an arranged marriage, and things worked out.
Will Valvolene suffer, or find true love can win out?
Read on for an hilarious romantic action adventure!

Alienn, Arkansas, is not what it appears. The Big Bang Truck Stop isn’t just a draw for tourists in this alien-lovers destination town but also a way station for the aliens who live in Alienn and their homeworld. In Alienn, the aliens hide in plain sight. Specific rules govern this alien culture. The one that is in play in this book is that an alien can’t get too attached to a human, and in fact, will be sent back to the homeworld if such a thing happens. So what does that do to poor Valene and Wyatt? Valene is an alien who is having a secret relationship with sheriff Wyatt. He is devoted to her and wants nothing more than to marry her and start a family; he can’t understand why she won’t agree. But given the rules that he has no idea about (because he doesn’t even know about the aliens), this cannot happen. What will they do and what can they do?
I enjoy the sometimes dry and sometimes outrageous humor of this series. I love the first scene in this book about a chili competition that devolves into a food fight. But certainly, in this book, serious issues were approached, and there was even some intrigue in the middle of the book along with the overriding romantic theme. I love Wyatt as a hero. He has a pure heart and simple desires; he always acts honorably. I definitely rooted for the couple to find a way out of the quandary that they were in. I’ve read other books in the series, so I enjoyed seeing these characters again, particularly Aunt Dixie and Diesel.
If you’ve enjoyed any other books in the series, you will most likely enjoy this one, too, about star-crossed sweethearts and strange happenings in Alienn, Arkansas.
Oh this may be my favorite one so far in the series. This one had some definite teeth to it which kept me guessing. I still got my romance and the touch of suspense I always enjoy. The quirky characters are still in play which makes an thoroughly enjoyable read. And come on how can you not like a character called Valvoline Ethyl. HAHA!

Sweet take on the cop as sweetheart story – having the story take place in Alienn, Arkansas only makes the story more distinct. Rourke did another wonderful job of making a fun, flirty, out of this world romance with Aunt Dixie to the rescue (since the youngsters seem to be unable to fix things without her hooliganish help).
