The last thing she can fix is her own life. Until one man’s offer changes everything.
There’s been one constant in Belle Boots’ nomadic life. Horses. She’s lived in Roses, North Carolina for a couple years, but lately the universe seems to be telling her it’s time to pack up her equine therapy practice and move on. Maybe Florida. Or California. But when she’s offered a horse-friendly … California.
But when she’s offered a horse-friendly fixer-upper near where she grew up, her usual sense of adventure gives way to a longing for something familiar. Salt air, wheeling seagulls, summer sand between her toes. Wilmington. Home.
The universe, with its brilliant sense of timing, chooses that moment to muddy up her plans with a man whose emerald-green eyes and rich Scottish accent do funny things to her pulse.
Andrew Branfield knows what it’s like to have important things slip through his fingers. A marriage. Money. Though Belle’s teasing voice and smoky gray eyes stir the ashes of his loneliness, his first priority is doing whatever’s necessary to keep his daughter’s favorite equine therapist from drifting away.
He never expected, when he set out to build Belle the barn of her dreams, that he’d be building something else. A home for their hearts.
Sometimes you have to leave a place to discover it’s really your home.

Another great read from Josie Riviera, this is the fourth book in this series, if you have read the previous ones you will be taken right back to the wonderful North Carolina.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I cannot wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.
The fourth book in the Flipping For You series a well written story with a very good storyline. Belle Boots, Andrew Branfield’s story of two people who have to learn to let go of the past. I enjoyed seeing their story come together. His daughter Megan was a sweetheart. The story was well worth reading, I would recommend.
Wonderful and heartwarming romance with interesting and sometimes complex characters. There are a few bumps along the road to romance. The interaction and conversations between the characters is entertaining and fun to read. It helps bring the story to life. Good read.

Belle is an equine therapist who adores the children she works with. One day she sees an emotional man on a balcony while she’s driving but can’t stop to help him. She is later surprised when one of her students, Megan, brings her father, Andrew, with her to her appointment. Financial circumstances force Belle to relocate to Wilmington, but Andrew offers to renovate a stable and apartment for her. Their relationship is enhanced by the supporting characters and beautiful backdrop.
3.75 – 4 stars.
I liked the characters in this, they had depth and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. I would have liked to have seen them a little further down the line, to see if fears had been overcome and if family drama had been resolved. This story had a slow burn feel to it and their journey was not an easy one but they were meant to be together, fainting goats and all!

Although it’s Book 4 in the series you won’t be lost. Characters from other books are mentioned but not really brought into the story.
It’s a short story so not a lot of development in the story or with the characters. We just jump in.
It was case of instant attraction for these two, but that doesn’t mean an easy ride. She’s opinionated and stubborn…. He dedicated to his job and his child… and stubborn.
Because the story is short, the readers don’t suffer long before the resolution, but the characters certainly did have to go through a bit suffering before their earned HEA.
This is a new author to me, and the story is a quick, clean read. Belle, an equine therapist, finds herself needing to move herself, her horse, and her business to another town. She dreads telling her clients’ parents but has no choice but to leave. A chance meeting with her client Megan’s father, Andrew, sets into a motion a series of events that will change Belle’s life forever. Although there is an instant attraction, Belle knows she’ll be leaving, and Andrew is a workaholic with no time for dating. Belle needs to learn to trust again and open her heart to new possibilities. Andrew needs to start living his life and learn to forgive. A story of chance, hope, new beginnings, finding home, and a HEA.
For those who have already read other books in Josie Riviera’s Flipping For You series, you will find yourself instantly transported back to the beautiful State of North Carolina. The reader becomes reacquainted with some of our old friends, but also makes some new ones along the way.
The author delivers a sweet romance in this well-written novella. We get to know the primary characters well. As someone who used to ride, I love that the heroine, Belle Boots, is a children’s equine therapist. One of her students, Megan Bransfield, is generally accompanied to her sessions by her nanny. However, on the day that Belle plans to notify her clients that she plans to move out of town, Megan arrives for her lesson with her divorced father, Andrew. He is terrified of horses, but very attracted to Belle – enough so that he decides to follow her to the coastal city of Wilmington.
Romance blossoms. Of course, there are the expected ups and downs in the relationship, but love prevails. I grew up reading horse stories, so including them in the story was absolutely a bonus for me.
This book is a novella, so is perfect for someone without a lot of spare time to read. If you are a fan of romance and horses, then pick up your copy today!
It always seems to work out best to fall in love when you are not looking for it. Unfortunately, we keep holding on to our past hurts. They also remind us that love doesn’t always work out every time making us doubt love will ever work for us.
Andrew and Belle’s story is sweet but realistic. They both have things to work on in themselves. One of the reasons I like Andrew is he is a caring, sweet and a romantic. He also speaks with a Scottish brogue and is a loving devoted father. Belle’s is an equine therapy trainer for children with disabilities. She is a lover of all animals. (Who doesn’t love animals?)
Belle looks up from a traffic jam to a balcony and sees a gorgeous man, head in hands, in anguish and their eyes connect. There’s something there and a car horn beeps. Later her therapy patient comes with her father instead of her nanny for the first time and it’s him, Andrew. He knows he’s never letting her go even though she must move her horse therapy due rental increase, he moves too and helps renovate her new facility.
It’s a beautifully written story of second chances with well-developed characters and I highly recommend it.
Josie Riviera continues the 1-800 series with another winner. Belle and Andrew are almost complete opposites. She loves horses, is content with what she has and is more interested in helping others than making money. Andrew is afraid of horses, is a workaholic and has almost a compulsion to keep making more money. They have one thing in common, they both love his daughter, Megan. I recommend this book.
Another delightful story by Josie Riviera that brings Belle, the equine therapist, together with Andrew, a billionaire contractor who does things to help folks and has a daughter who Belle works with.
Andrew helps Belle when she moves back to Wilmington and surprises her by moving there also.
Interesting play of the characters and understanding of their commitment to work.
Definitely a must read.
Love is the best therapy…
Belle Boots, equine therapist, loves the children who are her clients. She has always dreamed of having a big family, but if that isn’t meant to be at least she has her horses and the children she helps. Belle is devastated when her rent increase forces her decision to leave the small town of Roses and return to her roots in Wilmington where her Aunt Lucinda still lives. Telling the children she is helping and their parents that they will have a new therapist is much harder.
Andrew Bransfield, single parent and Megan’s father, has been delighted with his daughter’s progress during the time she has been receiving equine therapy. Usually, her nanny takes her to therapy appointments but for a change, he is in town and can finally meet Miss Belle and personally thank her for helping his daughter as long as he can do it without getting close to those terrifying horses.
Andrew is handsome but genuine. The diminutive Belle is beautiful and compassionate. Together they can make the perfect couple if they can overcome the hurt they have suffered. Josie Riviera has delivered another heart-warming romance in her 1-800 series!
This is a delightful story! Belle is in a situation where she needs to inform her therapeutic horseback clients that she will not be giving lessons in Roses because she is moving. As she figures out her next step she gets an offer of a fixer-upper in Wilmington which is home to her. Andrew, her client Megan’s father offers to build a barn and do the repairs at no cost. It is an offer she can’t turn down! As they get closer he sometimes leaves for extended periods of time with his business. Ms. Riviera paints a beautiful picture of the surroundings and her characters are likable. I loved the humor in this story! One very enjoyable story!
I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however, I voluntarily wrote an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
This was a fun read in the 1 800 Series and love the stories interconnecting. I enjoyed the fact Belle is a therapudic horseback riding and even mentions some benefits from participating in that therapy. Overall well planned plot and so hard to stop reading clean romance.
This was a fun and quick read. There were picturesque settings and wonderful outings and experiences. I enjoyed Megan and watching the adults try to fit their lives together. This was a great fourth installment in the series.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Sometimes two people just click and love blossoms. But at times things come up to put that love in doubt. Especially work. This story is a lovely telling of a kind hearted equine therapist and a workaholic billionaire single dad.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Belle is busy in the stable with her horse Jenkins in Roses North Carolina. Andrew has a daughter and a career and alot of money. They are thrown together because of circumstances. What will happen when Belle moves to Wilmington? Will love bloom for these two? Loved the novella, the setting is great and enjoyed reading the story about horses very interesting. This is a a good compliment to the series. Definitely recommend.
I loved Belle’s profession as an equine therapist. My niece wants to do that, but she’s going the physical therapist doctorate route. It was great to catch up with characters from the previous books in this series. I laughed at the fainting goats and almost fell out of my chair when I heard how low her rent was in Wilmington even with the work required to fix it up. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe play took me back to reading that book as a child. Andrew’s daughter Megan was adorable. His Scottish expressions were great and I was glad translations were provided. However, I don’t care how much you paid me I wouldn’t try Haggis. But like Belle, I’m open to trying other things including that Scottish non-alcoholic ginger beer. I didn’t completely agree with Belle being mad at him for racing off to put out fires for his company because it is his company and if it’s bad enough he’s not just financially liable it could hurt his reputation and business. This was a clean older man younger woman romance with plenty of funny and sweet moments.
