The last thing she can fix is her own life. Until one man’s offer changes everything.
There’s been one constant in Belle Boots’ nomadic life. Horses. She’s lived in Roses, North Carolina for a couple years, but lately the universe seems to be telling her it’s time to pack up her equine therapy practice and move on. Maybe Florida. Or California. But when she’s offered a horse-friendly … California.
But when she’s offered a horse-friendly fixer-upper near where she grew up, her usual sense of adventure gives way to a longing for something familiar. Salt air, wheeling seagulls, summer sand between her toes. Wilmington. Home.
The universe, with its brilliant sense of timing, chooses that moment to muddy up her plans with a man whose emerald-green eyes and rich Scottish accent do funny things to her pulse.
Andrew Branfield knows what it’s like to have important things slip through his fingers. A marriage. Money. Though Belle’s teasing voice and smoky gray eyes stir the ashes of his loneliness, his first priority is doing whatever’s necessary to keep his daughter’s favorite equine therapist from drifting away.
He never expected, when he set out to build Belle the barn of her dreams, that he’d be building something else. A home for their hearts.
Sometimes you have to leave a place to discover it’s really your home.

1-800-SUMMER (Flipping For You Book 4) by Josie Riviera
This book starts out with Belle and she’s in a foul mood because she has to relocate along with her business of horse lessons.
She teaches many children who are in dire need.
On the way to one of the horse lessons she notices a man at a balcony who is crying and she wants to help him but the traffic has freed up.
Megan, one of her students brings her father along and he was the man on the balcony. He is terrified of animals but the lessons are helping Megan.
When he hears they are to end he jumps at the change to help renovate her apartment and barn area so she can continue giving Megan lessons.
The rent is cheap and she can also afford the stable for their horse and her own. She relocates and he accompanies Megan often, but then there are other times He’s gone for so long that she doesn’t hear from him.
They start to get close to one another but when he leaves for work she has to call it off.
You wonder if they can continue with a long distance romance or just end it.
Love the treasures I found in this book: Scottish sayings, recipe, beach and horses.
Authors works are listed at the end along with an excerpt.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
I have loved all the Flipping For You books. This is another quick, sweet, heart warming romance in that series. The characters are so well developed that I know I would recognize them instantly should our paths cross. Equestrian therapy is helping so many children, veterans and others that I am glad that was Bella’s profession. This is just a sweet romance to enjoy some afternoon or evening when you need a break. I highly recommend you take a South Carolina visit.
Josie Riviera writes well developed characters. This book is no exception. I really enjoyed reading about Andrew and Belle. Belle Boots, what a great name for an equine therapist. Cute story.
I received a free ebook copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Romance, children, oceanfront beach, horses, billionaire, heartwarming and poignant. Wonderful read!
I loved this cute summer read. From the banter between Andrew and Belle, to their honesty and struggles. And lets not forget the fainting goats!! A few twists and turns along the way. Will confident Andrew learn to prioritize his life and forgive past hurts? Can Belle give in to this tenderhearted and romantic man without compromising? A clean swoon-worthy tale I highly recommend!
