Numbers. They haunt me. I can’t look into a person’s eyes without seeing the six-digit date of their death.I’m helpless to change it, no matter how hard I try. I’ve trained myself to look down. Away. Anywhere but at their eyes.My camera is my escape. My salvation. Through its lens, I see only beauty and life—not death and despair. Disconnected from all those around me, I’m content being alone, … I’m content being alone, simply existing.
Until I meet him.
Tavian.
The man beyond the numbers.
How can I stay away, when everything about him draws me in?
But how can I fall in love, knowing exactly when it will expire?

The same destiny that united their souls also determined to separate them. She is haunted by numbers while he lives his life around them.
It was by chance that college professor Octavian West met photographer Lyra Jennings. And in many ways and more than once in the narrative, he will save her life.
Since losing her parents two days before her eleventh birthday, Lyra hides behind the lenses of her camera, isolating herself from the world. Locked in her pain and for fear of further loss and pain. A fateful date that reveals to this girl a special talent that she has: see beyond what others can see.
Tavian is the opposite of our heroine. He opens himself up to life and to people, known or unknown as if desirous of sucking every moment that his existence. He values every minute of his trajectory struggling to make it unique and memorable.
They are the true union of unlikely opposites, brought together by an undeniable attraction, after an unexpected event at a Spanish airport. Then start a journey through Europe that will also reveal a lot about the two characters.
Dilacerating. This is the adjective I choose to define the work. The way a dark part of Lyra’s life is illuminated by Tavian’s presence, at the same time as his truths about his life are darkened, the way their lives and personalities come together and blend in throughout the narrative and the uncertainties about the future of both, seem to take the air from the reader away.
A fabulous ending with two implicit lessons: The way we see life changes the way we live it, and it becomes very clear during the reading, especially in the ending of the narrative with some unexpected revelations about our heartthrob. The importance of being fully open in a relationship, since Tavian and Lyra have more in common than they realize and if they were brave enough to share this information with each other, much about both would be revealed and understood.
An unexpected and excruciating ending that leaves the reader amazed by the continuation in Etern1ty, so that all questions about Tavian and Lyra are answered. Would fate be strong enough to unite them in a brief or long happily ever after? Only the time left and the next book will tell us.

Delirium
Erin Noelle has tweaked my world. She has made me desire a debilitating “issue” and made me desperate to feel.
I knew when I saw the blurb I had to have this book. I’ve never been let down by her writing but this was clawing at my insides to be read. I am so conflicted now. I want to both stab and hug the author. I want to hold onto the main characters and never let go. Keep them in a specific time and place bubble.
I want to freeze out the pain, hurt, and loss I know is coming. But most of all I fear, I am afraid to love characters I can’t imagine my tweaked world not having.
So thank you, Erin Noelle, for ruining my possible future, for creating what ifs, and hopes that will drown in the sea of anticipation while you smile so sublimely from the sidelines knowing everything that happens.
Thank you for twisting my mind and theories at every turn. Thank you for writing a kick ass, blood thinning, rush of a story. For making my heart beat double time and freeze at the same time, you are a magician. NOW GIVE ME BOOK 2- ETERN1TY!!!!! It better not actually take eternity to get! Please!?!?!?!?!
***If at all during this rant you were unable to conclude my feelings on this book, focus here. Exp1re is absolutely fucking fantastic and is probably one of my top ten in all of 2017. (Top ten status will depend on Etern1ty. No pressure! Lol)***
Epic, sticks with you quote that will probably become my first tattoo:
“We aren’t an accidental meeting of souls. Trust the timing of your life.”
NOELLE NAILED IT!!!
I haven’t read a story with such a clever and different premise in ages so Expire was a welcomed surprise. Noelle’s writing style flows for me, and I immediately found myself buried in the story. After being thrown together under the most tragic of circumstances, Tavian (sigh-love his name!) manages to break down Lyra’s barriers despite her initial resistance. Resistance that is well founded. But, I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll have to read it for yourself. I was hooked from the first page, and read this book straight through (except when boarding my plane). Oh, I almost forgot to mention the mother of all plot twists I didn’t see coming, and I can promise you won’t either! This is Book One of a duet, and I can guarantee I’ll be first in line to read Book Two.
