When twenty-five-year old Sophie Nouveau inherits her grandmother’s voodoo shop she knows nothing about voodoo. Or her family’s history of Mind Changers, who have the power to change evil people to good. To complicate matters, someone doesn’t want Sophie in New Orleans and sends a series of death threats to scare her away from her new enchanted life.

If Sophie cannot experience transformative love, she cannot make her spell work, and she will be powerless to fight back when confronted by the one who wants her dead.

Disclaimer – I received an ARC version of this book. This is my honest review.
I don’t read a lot of paranormal because much of it skirts the line and crosses over into horror, which I don’t read at all. Voodoo Butterfly has just enough to get the heart rate up, but not so much I couldn’t sleep after reading it. I was delighted to find it quite …
I loved this book. Sophie is a great character you can root for. I stayed up late reading this one.
ONE MAGICAL VOODOO LANDSLIDE!!!
Outstanding! Camille has this baby banging like a cheap screen door, revving up the heat and magic, speeding forward full throttle, ramping up the skill of the hunt and the thrill of the chase, laying out one killer storyline and gripping plot, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Audiobook review: Interesting and entertaining story involving the mysterious New Orleans and Voodoo with a twist. The characters are likable and believable. The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

The minute I finished this book, I ordered the rest of the series. I had to find out what happened to Sophie. And this series did not disappoint! I loved the characters and the originality of the story. I’ll definitely read more books by Camille Faye!

I absolutely loved this mesmerizing story about a young woman who goes to New Orleans to attend her grandmother’s funeral and investigate her inheritance and ends up discovering a family, a career and a new love. Her new world offers loads of benefit and a sense of belonging but it’s not without it’s dangers.
I love the New Orleans mystique and …
