The youngest daughter of the Duke of Westbrook, Harmonia Seaworth is gentle, beautiful and sweet. She has never expected her life to be anything but ordinary and, as the last daughter left at Seaworth Manor, had thought it would consist of nothing more than caring for her ailing father and watching her sisters’ children grow.Surely she wouldn’t be expected to find a husband before her father’s … her father’s passing as well.
But it seems her father’s dying wish to see his daughters married well before he passed extended to her too. Only, left on her own, she isn’t exactly the type to foster a social life helpful in finding a suitable husband.
As always, her father, the Duke, is more than ready to see to things himself. Equally as common, as it seems for the Seaworth sisters, is that just as she relents to settle for the quickest and easiest match, the least likely suitor comes her way to make her feel things she never thought she could.
Now, pursued by Luke Seaworth, a distant cousin, Harmonia finds herself inadvertently falling into the arms of Philip Marshal, the newly-instated Earl of Swansea.
But can she trust Philip?
Or is all that she has been told about him true? And what about her father’s wish to see her wed to Luke?
Could he really be as terrible as Philip says he is, or is Philip the real rake, out to take advantage of her and the possible passing of her wealthy dying father?
“In the Arms of an Earl” is the 4th book in the Duke’s Daughter’s series. Each book is its own historical romance story with its own HEA and no cliffhangers. Read them all to see how each of the sisters find love in their own way.

ONE FANTASTIC READ!!!
If you’re looking for a fast paced, easy to follow, dangerous, suspenseful, nailbiting, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you’ve found it. Lady Rose has the unique ability to catapult us back through time to the regency era. The characters and scenes were realistic and believable. With such amazing detailed descriptions that brought the read to life before my eyes. My only focus on the pages as well as on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters along as their personalities transformed and blended. Twists and turns abound with nerve racking ferocity. Unexpected surprises lurked around every corner. Lady Rose’s talent seem effortless and endless as she pulls us into the world she created. A phenomenal job Lady Rose. Thank you for sharing.
Wow. Pearson outdid herself on this one! Who knew what this character would become when we met him throughout the series?! An incredible and tense novel. I most thoroughly enjoyed it.
Finding love as the youngest of four sisters is not as
clear cut as the family believes. Harmonica Seaworth
is to pick a groom or be picked as a bride by the end of
the season. Her father is ill and wants all his daughters
taken care.
Lord Darnsley wants Harrmonia’s hand but he also wants
her money.
The new Earl of Swansea, Phillip Marshall discovers Lord
Darnsley’s intentions but is Phillip trustworthy??
Will Lord Darnsley stop at nothing to obtain her hand? Is
the Earl a rake? What will Harmonica do?
The story was plotted out flawlessly. There were sub
plots within the main plot and lots of twists and turns.
The scenery of the various areas was described so
vividly that the reader feels like they are right there.
The characters are vivid, colorful and well defined.
Will they be able to overcome what they face?
This is book # 4 in the Duke’s Daughters series. It can
be read as a stand alone.
I volunteered to read In the Arms of an Earl. Thanks
to Booksprout for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
What a delightful, clean, romantic Regency Romance with a twist of danger and suspense! This novel features Harmonia, the last of four sisters to find her forever love. The book can be read stand-alone but It is fun to welcome back some of the same characters from previous books. I totally enjoyed this sweet, clean romance and highly recommend to all lovers of Regencies!
Intriguing story line, filled with suspense, romance, and even danger!
Harmonia, the last of the Duke’s daughters, is urged to find her husband, this Season. She is nervous about her cousin Luke not believing her, when she tells him that she is not interested in courting. Her oldest sister, Amelia, is attends the Season with her, and helps her prepare for it. The first ball she attends, she notices someone, only to have Luke rudely interrupt her chance to be introduced to the new man. This book quickly builds with light to moderate suspense, and creates amazing scenes with in it of romance, intrigue, and danger. The author has finished the series with the strongest descriptions, characters’ personalities, and romance of all of them, so far! I recommend you read this; and, watch for other books from this author!
