Pushed by her driven mother to become the best in her field, Penny believes Fate has stepped in when she receives word she isn’t just an heiress to Steele Ranch, but had a father she never knew. She takes her chance to break free from the family she never truly felt a part of and heads to Barlow, Montana. Two cowboys have set their sights on the smart, beautiful blonde and they have no intention … intention of letting her go. Jamison and Boone will give her whatever she wants, especially since she’s wrangled their hearts.
This is the second book in the Steele Ranch series, where the women are smart, sassy and will give their men one wild ride.

Loved this story. Penny is so sweet, strong, and smart. Her family is terrible to her and yet she manages to overcome. I loved that the discovery of her biological father allowed her to be freed from the manipulation of her mother. Jamison and Boone were perfect for her. Can’t wait to see who shows up next at the ranch.
This is the second book in the Steele Ranch series.Wrangled is about the second Steele daughter that was contacted and told about an inheritance from a father that she didn’t know about. When Penny arrives at Steele Ranch and meets Jamison and Boone she knows that she has found everything that she needs. She can finally have what she has always wanted. This is a steamy, hot love story and i would definitely recommend it.
Penny finds out she is really the daughter of Aiden Steele and inherited a part of his Steele Ranch and his millions of dollars. When she arrives in Montana and Steele Ranch she also meets Jamison and Boone who are attracted to her and begin to show her what love and lovemaking is all about. Penny thought she was the daughter of her step dad and mother, a congresswoman who drives everyone, especially Penny to strive to excell. All Penny really wants is a family and home of her own and Jamison and Boone want to give that to her and for themselves.
Her men show her what love and affection is as they all fall deeper in love.
I enjoyed how much affection and understanding her men shower Penny with, she had none of that from her own mother. I also liked that the three of them had the same goals in life, a loving family and a bunch of children to form their family.
Of course Penny’s mother tries to interfere and it isn’t pretty, but love does win in the end.
I look forward to meeting the other step sisters as they are discovered.
Penny has lived her life for the family that doesn’t really appreciate her. She’s always felt like she was on the outside. When she finds out that the father that she’s always known, isn’t really her father, she takes a chance and heads for the unknown. This takes bravery that she didn’t know she had, to forge a life she didn’t know she could have.
As timid and shy as Penny is in the beginning, it doesn’t take her long to embrace her new life. The courage she shows is awe inspiring. She adapts to her surroundings like she was born to it, and overcomes the crazy adversity of her former life.
I loved this book just as much as the first in the series, and I can’t wait until the other sisters arrive at the ranch! This is a great series so far, and I have no doubts that the rest will be just as fabulous!
Wrangled is the second book in the Steele Ranch series, and we get to meet the second daughter, Penny. Penny came from an influential family where there was little love, but always quick to judge. Jamison and Boone know immediately that she’s the perfect woman for them to share, protect, and love. As Penny gets used to having a sister and adoring men, will she be able to come to terms with her controlling and power hungry mother so that she can plant roots with her new family, or will her ties to her mother win?
This book was such a great addition to Steele Ranch! I loved Penny – she was such an intriguing mix of knowing exactly what she wanted, but also finding that inner strength to go after it. She wanted love and a family and Steele Ranch offers Penny her biggest hopes and dreams. Jamison and Boone were her perfect heroes, immediately showing their love, offering her silent strength, but also knowing when to back off to let her deal with her demons on their own. I loved that they called her Kitten. Ms. Vale did an excellent job creating this place I want to call home, and I can’t wait to see what (and who) comes next at Steele Ranch!
Welcome back to Steele Ranch!! Sister Penny has arrived, a tiny spitfire that has catch the eye of Jamison and Boone. Can they three of them find their happily ever after. Can she resist her Mother’s wishes for her future? Can she accept a new relationship with two men? So many question that will be answered in this book!
Yes this is the second book, but can be read as a stand alone.
WoW Cowboys come in two . I couldn’t put this book down it was just that good . In fact I read it twice lol . I just wish it had been in Audio already . I love Spurred in Audible ! I thought Spurred was the best but it seems each book in this series gets even better! Now I’m headed to listen to Tangled yeah I have it on Audible hehe and can’t wait to listen to it. But if you haven’t purchased Wrangled yet to get it because it’s one of the best reads out there ! I promise if you like mènage you’ll love this one . Who’s not in to two sexy hot cowboys right ? Have fun reading !
I totally enjoy reading all of Vanessa Vale’s books. Her Menage books read sexy and loving with nothing trashy about them. Love this author.
Do you love hot sexy brooding cowboys? Well hold on to your saddles because Wrangled delivers all that and so much more.
This isn’t my first rodeo when it comes to Vanessa Vale and her novels. After reading several novels by this author I’ve become addicted to her fast paced romances. Vanessa Vale delivers another heart pounding, lust fueled novel.
Boone and Jamison have known for some time they wanted to share a woman, they just haven’t found the right woman yet. Until Penelope Vandervelk comes into the picture.
Penny has always been the good girl with the right career, but having a mom who’s a senator, she’s expected to act a certain way.
I loved Penny and her need to be free from her families clutches. I also really loved watching her unwind and be the woman she’s always wanted to be with the help from Jamison and Boone.
Wrangled is a sexy fast paced novel fueled by love and romance. If you love menage type novels that have materials containing MFM then I highly suggest Wrangled and Vanessa Vale!
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
I’ve probably said this before but I love reading Vanessa Vale’s novellas. They’re quick romances that typically consist of menages. Wrangled is the second book in the Steele Ranch series. Each of them can be read as a stand alone.
This particular novella focuses on Penny and her two cowboys Jameson & Boone. Jameson is the Foreman on Steele Ranch and Boone is a doctor in town. The instant attraction is noticed the first day Penny set foot on the ranch. They men just waited to make their move…and boy did they!
So their relationship progresses quickly – right because it’s a novella. It’s pretty steamy. If you love these type romances you should definitely check out this author’s selection. As I said I like reading them because they’re quick but you also get a plot to go with the steam.
ARC – I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones
Penny just received news that her real biological father left her part of of a ranch.
Which means, that she can totally ditch her domineering parents.
She was being suffocated by her mother.
The ranch offered Penny a real chance at freedom.
One look at Penny was all it took for Boone and Jamison to know she was the one.
Now they just have to convince her to give them chance.
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character’s build were awesome!
This is another fun, sexy, and romantic story in the Steele Ranch series by Vanessa Vale. It has great characters that have sizzling chemistry, and are likeable and sexy. There is plenty of adventure, spark, hot sex scenes, and fun. It will keep you turning pages. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and meet the next sister.
This is the second book in the Steele Ranch series by Vanessa Vale. Although you definitely don’t have to read them in order as they are loosely connected there is an overall story about the lost sisters that intertwines through the books so I would recommend you pick up book 1 as well.
I enjoyed this one a bit more than book 1 – just for personal preferences (I always enjoy a virgin, don’t ask me why!) but as with book 1 I REALLY would have liked more lead up to the relationships between the ladies and their guys. I am all for insta-love and the idea of it but as these books are supposed to be a bit more ‘real’ I would have loved to have more time, interaction and details about it all before they get down to the ‘deed’ and start talking about love between them all… (literally they know each other a handful of days). This just takes a bit away from the story for me as I think to myself ‘not realistic at all’ and it pulls me out of the story – which is really good!
Despite this, I still give the overall book a 4 star rating as I liked the characters, their personalities and the story behind it. Also, as always, VV provides a great menage romance – lots of heat!
I agree with others that the drama at the end was a bit predictable though. Still looking forward to the next sister and seeing the details of her life and how she ends up on Steele Ranch.
Another sexy read by Ms. Vale! While the menage stories can tend to be formulaic Ms. Vale always manages to add something to each book to set it apart. Her characters are great and there is always some underlying mystery or something to keep you coming back for more. And the sex is ALWAYS HOT!! Loved it!
Once again, Vanessa Vale has written a hot menage romance that is part of the Steel Ranch series. It can be read as a stand alone but with two hot cowboys why would you want to read just one? Sure it’s a definite case of instalove but again, two hot cowboys! Can’t wait for the next one in the series.
The Steele Ranch series continues with Penny, the second daughter to arrive at the ranch. Boone sees her and decides she is the one for he and Jamison. Jamison thinks they are too old for her and refuses to approach her. After three days he decides he can’t deny the draw to her and they set out to claim her. They find her in a bar where she is being accosted by another man, they intervened and claimed her. Unknown to them, Penny has no desire for any of the younger ranch hands but she has been attracted to them. Penny deals with a mother who never wanted her and starts over with Boone and Jamison. The book is full of sexual interaction between the three of them and the descriptions are very erotic. This is a great read and I would highly recommend it along with the first book Spurred.
4.5 Stars
Another heiress to the Steele Ranch has stepped forward to claim her inheritance and has two hunky men panting after her.
Penny is a very, very sweet character. She appears innocent and naive, but she is not. Her experiences have shaped who she is, but it is hard to break a mold that you have lived with all your life. Her strength is there, but hidden until riled, and damn can she let it out! She reminds me of a true southern belle with her sweetness while she is ripping someone apart with her words. Lovely to read .
Jamison and Boone are totally drool worthy. Like most of the loveliness that is grown in Montana in these stories, they are total alpha males and throw off some delicious dominant vibes. They both want Penny and after coming to terms with it (for one of them), they go after what they want with a single-minded determination. Totally hot as hell.
All in all, and awesome read. It satiated my need for some hot sexiness and my want of a good love story. There were some awesomely sweet moments mixed in with the sexiness. And then there is the awesome confrontation towards the end …. Beautiful! It is great to read someone taking their power back from those that want to control it.

Penelope Vandervelk has lived her life trying to be the best at everything in order to live up to her mother’s expectations when all she really ever wanted was a bit of affection. When she finds out that the man she thought was her father isn’t, things suddenly make sense at why she never felt like she fit in with the rest of her family. Moving to Barlow, Montana to claim her portion of the Steele Ranch fortune is just the chance she needs to finally live life on her terms and pursue her dreams for the first time in her life.
As soon as Boone and Jamison lay eyes on Penelope, they know she is the one for them . . . even if Jamison feels they are too old for her. When they save her from an unwanted encounter at the bar, the trio begins spending time together and finds out they have more in common than they could have hoped for . . .especially since for the first time in her Penny is going to put her desires before her mother’s.
Things seem to be going great until an unwanted surveyor is found at Steele Ranch, one who just happens to be from the company that Penny turned down from a job. She knows her mother is up to something and it’s finally time to confront her and take the reins on her own life with the support of Boone and Jamison and finally have the family she’s always wished for.
While Wrangled is the second book in the Steele Ranch series, it can easily be read as a stand alone. I really liked Penny. she is super intelligent and knows what she wants out of life, and for the first time, she’s willing to fight for that. It was lovely watching her gain confidence in her dreams and decisions and act for herself without thinking about what her mother wanted from her. Boone and Jamison are a great match for her. While they are both a decade older than her, all three are at the point in their lives where they are truly longing for the same thing. While they are proud at how intelligent Penny is, they don’t see her not wanting to pursue a high pressure career as wrong, but are willing to support her true dreams as well as be the loving family she never really had. Watching Penny’s relationship with her newly found step sister Cady develop was also super sweet as it is something both women really needed after their prior experiences with their other step sisters.
Wrangled is a quick fun and flirty read. The steam level is pretty darn high and the sass and rapport with this trio made this a 4.5 star read for me. I can’t wait for the next sister to arrive in Barlow!
Wrangled is the latest book out and is the second book in the Steele Ranch Series by Vanessa Vale. Each book can be read as a standalone which is a good thing since I started with this book.
Penny finds out that she is one of the heiresses to the Steele Ranch. She also finds out that the father that she never knew is the one that she has inherited this ranch from. Penny has caught the attention from two cowboys Jamison (the ranch foreman) and Boone (Dr. Boone Montgomery).
These two very good looking Alpha men want Penny and it is hot and heavy when they claim her! If you love ménage romances you should enjoy reading this book. These are MFM romances.
Vanessa Vale is known for her ménage romances. Or at least she is well known to me and I am trying to work my way through her books that I very much enjoy!
I give Wrangled 4.0 stars and I can’t wait to read Roped and I will go back and read Spurred. Which is on my kindle now.
