Torch was part of Cambria’s Take It Off Series, they can all be read as stand-alones. I’m not sure why I waited so long to read this series!! Torch was a quick, fast paced, edge of you seat, thrilling, romantic mystery!
Katie had a good job, a place to call her own, and a sense of security that her life was finally on track until it all went up …
This book instantly grabbed by attention. The opening was fantastic and realistic. The heroine is haunted by a serial arsonist and finds safety only in the arms of the hero. It was a good read and I did not see the reveal coming. Like the heroine I was blindsided by the information though thinking back it had been hinted at in the very …
Best love story ever
Loved every book in this series! Great characters- very witty and intelligent. This story was hot, while also being realistic, with relatable characters. Excellent book!
Very exciting
An easy fun read
Good read
Ok so I’ve read other books by this author before and love them. I liked this story a lot between Holt and Katie. It had lust and love and chemistry. A little too quick to fall in love but due to the circumstances understandable. I love the suspense in trying to figure out who was after her. The reason it’s three stars instead of four …

If you enjoy a twisted effort to destroy someone for financial gain you will enjoy Torch.
It was a good book until it started getting to the romantic writing. The language used was so juvenile and comical. I couldn’t take it seriously! I did enjoy the thriller part of this novel. I wouldn’t recommend it, though.
It’s a great read that you can’t put down. I gave it 5 stars.
I loved this book, I didn’t want it to end. The book is written in first person, I would have liked to have read the fireman’s perspective of things as well. Overall it was a great read.
Grabbed your interest right away
A unique twist on the damsel in distress storyline.
A new class of firemen recruits, mostly youngish men and a woman. One recruit has grey in his hair. One of the instructors, sidelined due to an injury on the job, is here to teach these recruits while she heals. Delightful characters with complex backgrounds are put in real life situations (some from recent headlines). Well written and …
This story kept me interested throughout the plot. I really liked the two main characters and what they went through for a happy ending.
I absolutely LOVE this series. Once again, I’m not exactly sure what makes it a “series” as I’m not sure what the connection to all the books is, but it doesn’t even matter because I have enjoyed each & every one I’ve read, and this is no exception. Apparently, this is the first one. : )
Katie & Holt. Oh my goodness! : ) They are so sweet …
