I really liked this book the only negative I have is that it is a series.
Read first couple chapters then just couldn’t force myself to continue this poorly written and ridiculous novel
I like science fiction, especially futuristic stories. I’m also familiar with a lot of computer related jargon. The story was somewhat heavy with descriptions that used this jargon. If the reader is not familiar I can see it would be a difficult story to follow. I did like the book and would recommend it. It’s a scary thought that someday we …
I enjoyed every twist and turn.
The cyber world is very intriguing.
AI (Artificial Intelligence ) run rampant among humanity is the premise. Technology is set a bit in the future but a case could be make that the book’s premise is as likely as any. Within these boundaries a good story is told.
Easy to read good ending.
A sci-fi thriller worth reading!
This was a fun read. The author did a great job of painting a futuristic, high-tech picture.
This is the last book in the series. I looked forward to reading it, but was disappointed and stopped about half way through. The action seemed to drag and it got too “talky”.
I love the main character, for a twenty year old girl she is smart and strong, not like some YA female characters that I have read recently. Kat, is a girl that I would like my daughter to have as a friend. I loved the story, and appreciated how the author created an independent book within a series. This book has a definite beginning and …
A familiar story with a twist, very topical with today’s reliance on smartphone technology.
With our rapid race towards AI this book hopefully will cause readers to think o the effects of technologies. In particular how will e use AI and interact with it. Thought provoking and fast paced. Likeable main characters. I would have liked more character development on the minor characters.
Chillingly futuristic. Once Jules Verne and H.G.Wells were scoffed at. Today much of what they “imagined” is everyday. We have robots directing music and unmanned smart bombs and missiles and there is a race between the nations on AI development.
Beware mankind. Humankind May easily be enslaved.
Though provoking. Insightful. Calls for ethical …
Brought to life the problems with implants and cognizant AI!
