Follow the members of Steele Security from their Delta Force days into their their operations as they become THE elite security company in th US. The four main team members each meet their “one” and their love sgories play out on individual books. There is a great cast of secondary characters that give us some comedic moments as well as some hauntingly sad ones. I LOVED this series!
Series’plots, actions and intimate scenes very repetitive from book to book.
The story was well developed and interesting, and if the author would have abbreviated the generic, lengthy sex scenes I would rate it higher. Please, I’m tired of generic sex scenes. I appreciated the boxed set and will continue reading the series while skipping most of the sex scenes.
Just finished this series today, and overall it was frustrating. The first two books were so formulaic I could almost predict which way the plot would turn next. The sex scenes were numerous and too graphic for my personal taste, though I’m aware there’s a market for it. The third book was an improvement, as the writing rules changed. The fourth was the best, with more twists and turns, plus the author concentrated more on plot and character than sex. The final book was a disappointment. The plot felt excessively contrived and the ending was nothing short of ridiculous.
