It’s never too late.
Father Tim Kavanagh has been asked to “come up higher” more than once. But he’s never been asked to do the impossible-until now. The retired Episcopal priest takes on the revival of a mountain church that’s been closed for forty years. Meanwhile, in Mitford, he’s sent on a hunt for hidden treasure, and two beloved friends are called to come up higher. As Father Tim finds, … higher. As Father Tim finds, there are still plenty of heartfelt surprises, dear friends old and new, and the most important lesson of all: It’s never too late.

Love Jan Karon’s small town charm books
“When the heart’s right, it’s impossible to do anything wrong”

All the Mitford books are wonderful! I absolutely love the characters.

Appreciate the quotations and bits of information about inspirational people/writers/artists/historical figures/events sprinkled throughout conversations between characters. Her books often make me add to my reading list or want to research to learn more. Full of the struggles, loves and relationships between …

A nice, feel good book with characters you care about.
Love Father Tim and the whole series!
I have the whole series. I have read most of these twice. I feel like I have been on vacation each time. The characters are endearing. There is humor and tears. I have a new one calling my name. Can’t wait.
If you’re a Mitford fan, this book falls in line with the rest. You have to read it. It’s delightful and charming, just like the others.
Enjoyed this continuing story in the life of Father Tim Kavanaugh and his family and friends.
I have always like to read books by Jan Karon
