“In Too Deep” is the third book in the Station Seventeen series and this series just keeps getting better. Luke Slater is the rookie on the Remington Fire Department but he is no sloucher, he works hard. Between his fire and EMS training, there isn’t a lot of time left for anything else. He never even thought he would be teamed up with paramedic Quinn Copeland, a woman he is been trying to keep at arm’s length. Their first shift together, puts them in a very bad situation, and Luke and Quinn, have to have each others back if they expect to survive it.
This book is loaded with suspense, intrigue, passion, romance, steam and friends. Get ready for a wild ride that will have you flipping pages until the very last one.
If you love romance and sexy hot firefighters, be sure not to miss this one!!
This is Quinn and Luke’s story. When Quinn’s usual partner is hurt, Luke is assigned to be her partner. He’s a rookie and learning to be a paramedic. On one of their first calls, they run into trouble getting kidnapped and almost killed. They are let go by the gang leader but are threatened with their family and friends being killed if they talk to the police or anyone about it. This story filled with suspense and was difficult to put the book down. Plus Quinn and Luke take their attraction to the next level with some really hot scenes. The ending was really intense. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Great Story!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story!
It was a great romance with a side of action and drama! And then some blend of the two!
Quinn is so strong and described as such a sweet beautiful soul.
Luke is quiet and stand offish until a slight nudge from Shae has Quinn breaking down every single wall he put up!
I enjoyed his crumble! They are even stronger together too!!
Ahhh!!
Ahh Luke and Quinn. Loved them both and loved their romantic suspense story. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Such an amazing story. Love this Station 17 series so much!
Very suspenseful story with interesting plot. Did not know what State or city the book took place in , which made story less imaginative and more generic.
I liked the book a lot I wish it was longer and would have gone deeper but, I bought the next one in the series already
This is Book 4 of the Station Seventeen Series
This is the story of Luke & Quinn. Luke has been Station Seventeen’s firefighter rookie for the last seven months. He is also an EMT as of six weeks ago. He did that to conquer his fear of blood. Quinn is a paramedic at Station Seventeen. She has been helping Luke with that. She is also attracted to him. She loves taking care of people, but who ever takes care of her? Luke is attracted to her, to the point of distraction. They are thrown together working on the same rig. Bad things, one after another, happen to them. It is non-stop. I can’t say enough how good this book was, reading it and getting involved emotionally with every aspect of it. So looking forward to the next book in this series.
In Too Deep is the third in Kimberly Kincaid’s scorching, suspenseful Station Seventeen series. Paramedic Quinn Copeland and firefighter/EMS Luke Slater are thrown together as temporary ambulance partners because of temporary staffing shifts at the station. They’ve been trying to hide the fact that each finds the other intriguing in a more than co-workers way. When they end up targeted by an ambitious gang leader, they need to figure out how to best stay safe and protect the ones they love.
Ms Kincaid doesn’t shy away from Luke and Quinn’s growing intimacy, emotional and physical. Her scenes are hot and creative while being respectful and empowering.
While In Too Deep definitely focuses on Quinn and Luke’s story, we also get to catch up with the other team members we’ve met in previous stories. In Too Deep will get your heart racing in all the best ways!
Station 17 will never be the same.
In this thrill a minute suspense story Kimberly Kincaid shakes up a whole lot more than just shift schedules. When her usual partner suffers an on-the-job injury, Quinn Copeland ends up paired with the rookie she’s been lusting after ever since he arrived at the Firehouse. When their first solo call goes drastically wrong, their lives and those of everybody they love will hang in the balance.
In Too Deep alternates between steamy hot romance and ice cold terror, all at a mile a minute pace that will keep you guessing until the very last page.
I loved Quinn and Slater. Their sweet and steamy relationship is a roller coaster ride. The Station 17 crew provides a strong supporting cast and Momma Billie and the brave, quirky teenage Hayley are well developed and totally endearing. Pitted against the warmth and love of the Station 17 family is a villain who is ice cold, self-centred, completely focused and totally, irredeemably evil – a man you will love to hate.
Kincaid’s stories never fail to delight and entertain. In Too Deep can proudly take its place along with the rest and I can’t wait to find out comes next.
In Too Deep by Kimberly Kincaid
Station Seventeen #3
Quinn Copeland has worked at Station Seventeen for five years when her partner is injured and Luke Slater, rookie fireman and EMT training to be a paramedic, becomes her new partner. The two have been very aware of one another since their first encounter but neither has acted on the chemistry between them…until…they are suddenly thrust into a situation that threatens not only them but all those they hold dear. Both have suffered losses in the past and do not want harm to come to anyone they know and care about in the future. As they deal with the aftershocks of their experience, work with those in charge of an investigation, continue to work together and eventually become more than work only partners they also have a ruthless murderer to contend with as he begins to circle in on them and those they love. This book is action-packed and deals with issues such as suicide, loss, PTSD and assault – it ends on a positive note and does not require the reader to have read previous books in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Barclay Publicity for the ARC – This is my honest review.
4 Stars
Kimberly Kincaid once again burns up the pages with In Too Deep, the third book in her Station Seventeen series. Paramedic Quinn Copeland believes her station mates are more than friends, they are her family and she would do anything for them, especially to keep them safe. Rookie Luke Slater lives to be challenged which he gets from his fire and EMS training. Luke keeps to himself and is reserved which is his armor, keeping him safe. After Quinn and Luke are kidnapped on their first shift together and then threatened by a brutal gang leader, these two rely on one another to deal with the stress they are under in order to survive this ordeal.
The more time Quinn and Luke spend together, the more attracted they become to each other. The chemistry between these two is amazing and Ms. Kincaid is incredible in her descriptions of the sexy time shared between these two. As the passion between Quinn and Luke grows from attraction to all out sizzle, they need to watch out, both inside and outside Station Seventeen, as they try to outwit a cold blooded killer and face the our fears.
I loved reading this book as Ms. Kincaid drew me in and did not let me go until I read the last page. Ms. Kincaid is an outstanding story teller and kept this reader mesmerized with the need to see how Quinn and Luke would capture this guy and whether or not they would get their happy ever after. I highly recommend this book to other readers and I for one look forward to the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Station Seventeen is getting hot again with the newest rookie working temporarily on the ambulance. Luke Slater is filling in with Quinn Copeland and things are heating up especially after they take a call and are kidnapped at gunpoint and then keep quiet about it for a couple days. Luke has been the quiet one around the station since he started but there has been something brewing between him and Quinn. The sly looks and the chemistry finally win out when comfort is needed to start healing and BAM it turns into so much more. Gang threats, bombs in the station, and a fire at Three Brothers Pizza won’t slow these two down when it comes to falling in love. I definitely recommend this one and this entire series. It is well written with exceptional characters!
This could be read as a standalone but Why Oh Why would you want to when there are ones before this.
