EveTwo years ago, I made a deal with the devil. That night, I lost everything. That night, I thought he died. But he’s back. Risen, like Lazarus, from the dead. And he’s dark. Darker than he was before. Dangerous. Unhinged. A scarred, tattooed savage. The way he looks at me should terrify me, but I’m drawn to him, to his intensity. Consumed by it. By him. Even though I know if I’m not careful, his … though I know if I’m not careful, his obsession will destroy me.
Zach
I should have died that night two years ago. My mistake cost my men their lives. It should have cost me mine. But I survived. And the day I learned she did too, I made it my mission to find her.
I sought her out. Tracked her. Shadowed her every move. I’ve been inside her house. Eaten her food. Drank her liquor. I’ve stood beside her bed and watched her sleep.
She has so many secrets, and I know one of them. It’s the one where our pasts collided. The one that destroyed me.
And it’s the reason I’ve come for her.
I never intended to touch her, but I did. And now that I’ve had a taste, I want more. I want her. But that won’t change why I’m here. It won’t change why I came for her.
Author’s Note Unhinged is a steamy standalone romantic suspense novel. No cliffhanger and no cheating, just a dark, dominant Alpha male who may break your heart and will definitely set your Kindle on fire.

Well, well, well…what do we have here???
So now we have yet another sexy Amado brother, who will stop at nothing to reach his goal, and his goal is Eve, the woman who betrayed him… but… is it real a betrayal? Was it in a first place?
Brace yourself ladies… It’s the story of Zachary ( The 3rd sexy Amado brother) and Eve, woman whose life has be shuttered into pieces… You will delve into a world of terror, where only being strong can guaranty your life… but sometimes even strongest fall
Oh what a tangled web we weave….
If there were ever two characters written who deserved a HEA, Zach and Eve would hit the top of my list. Master Sergeant Zachary Amado, who by the way is the youngest of the Amado brothers, (Dishonorable and Disgraced) is used and betrayed, not only by his own government, who he proudly serves, but by someone he respected and looked up to. Someone he thought was lost to him, only to discover that all along has been using him in a twisted and deadly game of cat and mouse.
Unbeknownst to them, both Zach and Eve are the mice. Both of them presumed dead after the bloody massacre two years ago, Eve is given a new identity and forced to go on with life in the States after she’s been told everyone she cares for is gone. Zach, after waking from a coma, learns that Eve also survived. He knows that night was a set up, someone betrayed them and 6 good men, his men, lost their lives, so now he is on a mission to uncover the truth.
This story is boiling pot of emotion, there are lies and distrust, hate and anger, but our two main characters manage to find common ground and eventually love. And you thought your family was screwed up…LOL! Strap in for some unexpected twists and turns!
Natasha Knight is a relatively new to me author, but I’m never disappointed by her intriguing plot lines, you’ll never get the run-of-the-mill romance when you pick up her book.
Unhinged is the third book in the Amado Brothers series and stands completely alone. Eve was once an informant for Zach, trying to keep her brother safe, but the mission goes completely wrong. Two years later, Zach is back in Eve’s life, chasing her down, demanding answers. But with him finding Eve, he places their lives in extreme danger. Will these two find out the truth, save their own lives, and face the love that’s brewing between them, or have they just been living on borrowed time?
Oh my goodness, this book was so different from the first two books in the series, yet my heart pounded just the same. Eve and Zach were in a world all of their own, full of lies, secrets, betrayals, lust, and just a sliver of hope to get them through their danger packed days. Once again, I started this book late at night (why do I do this to myself) and couldn’t put it down! I was so enthralled and determined to see the end of their romance and how everything would play out, if they would survive to face the love they felt for each other, even in the middle of their hatred and terror. Eve is so motivated by her brothers, by keeping them safe, that she is both brave and reckless. I loved her determination, how open her heart could be, and I loved that even when she was scared, she was still so courageous. Zach was so full of vengeance and it was interesting to see him go back and forth between trust and hate, between hope and doom, and between his darkest moments with the light he gathered from Eve. They had so much passion together, and there was definitely an element of enemies to lovers, I think their past continued to bring them together, their actions spoke louder than their words, and I loved how they could find comfort with each other, even in the midst of the danger. This book had just as many heart pounding scenes as the previous book, lots of danger and suspense and lies they needed to unravel, but I was surprised that there were barely any mention of the previous brothers. But I loved reading this book. I loved the intense emotions I felt from these pages and I never once stopped cheering for Eve and Zach to find their happily ever after!
WOWZA! NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING!!!
Zach and Eva’s story took me on a suspenseful ride across the ocean. My heart broke for both of them. I didn’t know whom to trust. I didn’t know what was going to happen… SOOO GOOD! Their HAE was perfect.
This was my least favorite of this series. I didn’t like Eve at all and didn’t feel much chemistry between her and Zach. However the book is very well written, and I think this is a me-not the book-issue.
Unhinged is dark with a twist of secrets:)
Love anything written by Natasha Knight. She turns simple romance, into something slightly darker with a promise of more to come. Unhinged I didn’t realise was almost part of a series as I have missed a few of her previous books recently, so I’m keen to go back and find out exactly how much I’ve missed!
Zach is part of a US military team in Beirut, when Eve comes in one day to offer them help to bring down a man by the name of Malik the Butcher. There is an instant attraction but eventually everything goes wrong and Zach fails his mission and loses his men. This book picks up two years later with Eve living in the US and Zach tracking her down to get answers, especially since neither him nor Eve should have survived:) Definitely recommend this if you like darker romances!
I’ve never read a story which had its location centered around the Middle East. It was a wonderful read. Like Zach, I didn’t know who to trust. There were so many twist and turns, which I just didn’t see coming. Eve was naive but still lovable while Zach was slightly dark but protective.
There were times though when I wondered how can a romance blossom…. but it happened slowly but surely. I wanted to shake Eve sometimes as well as slap the crap out of Zach… They were dealing with so much guilt and had trust issues. When they finally started to open up and reveal their truth, things started to happen as a couple. I need to read more of this author work. I feel like I’m missing something.
Both Eve el Amin and Zachary Amado lost everything two years ago. Eve lost her entire family after making a deal to save her last surviving brother and Zach lost his men in a mission gone wrong. That night irrevocably changed their lives and they were both left to pick up the pieces.
Thinking Zachary died along with everyone else that night, Eve was somehow saved and given a new identity by someone she believed to be in the US military in exchange for the information she had given them on her brother and his boss, Malik the Butcher. She tried to pull herself into a new life as a realtor in Denver, Colorado, but fate is coming for her . . . she just doesn’t know it yet.
Against all odds, Zachary survives the ambush that killed the rest of his men. He is nursed back to health and hidden from his enemies by a local doctor while he recovers in Beirut. When he realizes Eve also survived, he wants answers as well as revenge for the part that he believes she played that night . . . and he will stop at nothing until he gets it.
Nothing, however, is as it seems and there were more players that night than either Eve or Zach realized. While Eve struggles to understand why Zachary can’t let it go as well as deal with Zach’s intense darkness that has become his life, Zachary fights his unexplainable need for Eve as he struggles to put all the pieces together of what exactly happened that night two years ago as well as how to finally end the game that was put into motion so many years ago.
Together, Zachary and Eve must face their pasts when they collide with their present to end the game that has already taken the lives of too many. Will they be able to survive the betrayals they have faced as well as Malik the Butcher who will not stop until they are both dead?
Unhinged was dark, intense and thrilling! Eve and Zachary are immediately drawn together, but seem to cause one another nothing but pain since they fall on opposite sides of the war that is happening. Eve is innocence and light while Zachary is dark and ruled by his need for revenge. Even as they tear at one another, their chemistry explodes and causes intense need to own and possess each other.
Will Eve’s love and light be enough to pull Zach from his suicide mission of revenge? Will Zach’s intensity and knowledge of death and human depravity give him enough of an edge to stay one step ahead of the Butcher and keep them both alive? These characters are such opposites but play so well against one another as a couple. It’s a thrill ride to watch Eve have to travel on Zach’s dark side as she fights to not only stay alive but to make sure he survives this final mission as well.
5 stars for Unhinged! While part of a trilogy, you do not need to read books one or two to immerse yourself in Unhinged. I would suggest snapping up the prequel, Betrayed, however, as it gives great insight into these characters and the build up of what happened to lead up to where Unhinged begins.
I’ve wanted to read and know Zach’s story since reading Dishonorable.
Unhinged is absolutely a stand-alone book no need to read the previous two books.
Which are amazing btw.
Unhinged did not disappoint!
Filled with revenge, anger, betrayal and were loyalties lay.
A brooding H out for revenge and looking for answers.
A h who thought she was making a right decision.
Put these two together and you have an explosion!
This is a dark romance. With twists and turns.
It had me on the edge of my seat.
Loved everything about this book!
From the cover to the end.
The writing is incredible and the characters are intriguing.
Outstanding read!
The third book in the Amado Brothers series. It can be read as a stand alone novel without any problems. This is the story of the youngest brother Zach.
I actually think this is my favorite book of the series. The prologue just sucks you into the story and couldn’t stop reading. I finished the book in one sitting. I liked Zach and Eve. They were well developed and complex characters. They each carry their scars on the inside and the outside.
The story is full of twists and turns. Characters and events aren’t what you think at first. A lot of action. And there are also some very steamy scenes that will leave you all hot and bothered.
Eve left a horrible situation that was clouded in secrets, but she is finding out that the past always catches up to the present. Eve’s past walked in the door with Zach. Zach is here to make Eve pay for the men she killed. Little do either of them know, there are more secrets and lies to uncover. Wow! What a great story, so different from anything I have read in the past. Eve is a woman full of insecure and doubt. Zach is full of anger and revenge. Both have strong wills and I loved reading their journey to discovery for both of them. My first book that I read by Natasha Knight and it won’t be my last. Great Read!
