The Double Trouble DuetIdentical twin brothers separated at birth…Like a Boss War veteran Dawson Trudeau never expected his estranged identical twin to walk into his bar in Alaska, let alone offer him twenty million dollars to pose as the CEO of King Enterprises while he secretly heads to rehab for thirty days. With dreams of starting a homeless shelter for veterans and locating his retired … locating his retired service dog from Afghanistan, Dawson can’t say no. Then he meets his brother’s sexy assistant and he hopes she can’t say no—some overtime between the sheets.
Lacey Brooks isn’t attracted to her metro-sexual boss, but his rough and ready identical twin is just her type. When lust turns into love, she fears she is betraying the CEO. If she can navigate the family feud to ensure a spot-on impersonation by Dawson, she’ll finally be promoted to VP.
If they can pull off the masquerade, everyone wins. But once the thirty days is over will victory matter if they don’t have each other?

I was happy to see who the BOSS is!
Realistic backstory crappy everything else
Character background was the focus of the story. Nothing major happened during the story. She has no depth. She’s a wunderkind at her job, but has no hobbies or favorites. The story is all about him and how she supports him. Auspiciously it’s to further her career, but it’s never shown that she’s actively seeking this advancement. Besides once you know where the bodies are buried your boss either trusts you or s/he buries you. She is helping her boss because it advances the story not because she is shown to be an innately caring person or that they have a particularly close relationship. We are told they have known each other since college, but they don’t act like it.
Great love story!
Good story
I enjoyed the story.
Graphic sex scenes.
Two twins separated at birth, one to become the heir to a fortune. The second fights his way in the world. What happens when the second brother is called on to help his rich brother keep the company that could have been his if things had worked out differently? Watch what happens as Dawson masquerades as his brother Aaron as CEO.
Looking alike doesn’t translate to being a copy of the other. Loved the chemistry and the sizzle. Throw in the retired service dog and you have the intrigue.
good read
I loved this book! Hoping for more!
Goos east to read story. Too much sex.
Dawson and Lacy
This story got better and better as it went along. Some things weren’t explained but I imagine they will be in the next book.
just the kind of thing you’d imagine between twins. I can see this happening in real life.
Totally like Liz and Dawson and Dottie and Edward. Not supposed to like the others and I did not. Well done. Just the right amount of sex… although I did skim a bit. Mostly story and an entertaining one at that. I’ll read more by this author.
Great read
What a great read. Loved it.
This was a fun fast read and unlike Samantha I felt that the twins being raised separately WAS explained. The characters were well drawn, despite the conciseness of the storyline. I look forward to reading more of the author’s work.
I really wanted to know why the twins were split up other than the parents’ selfish ways but there was this huge family secret and I just I felt like the author could have expanded so much on this book. I know there is going to be a second book and I do plan to read it and hopefully, that answers all the questions I have for this. But yeah that was my problem with this book I just wanted more.

Liz Matis has given a treat in Like A Boss: Double Trouble Duet – Book 1. A quick entertaining read with some twists that lead to thought-provoking ending.
Dawson Trudeau is one hot alpha! Whether with his laid back man bun style or the classic business suit, clean shaven look, he knows what he wants and how to get it.
Lacey Brooks is assistant to Dawson’s brother and has her own opinion of Dawson. But the more time she spends with him, the more that opinion changes.
Together they work to cover for Dawson’s twin and along the way the attraction between them is undeniable.
With a good storyline, pleasing characters and enjoyable writing this book is very pleasurable read.
