Crazy jungle planet. Killer orange fungus. Crimson snakes in the water. The worst part? While I was in a coma, I seem to have acquired two dragon mates.
When I wake from my coma, the first thing I see are two hot aliens. And I’m informed that they’re my mates.I don’t think so.This isn’t the story of Sleeping Beauty, and the two sexy, possessive, Draekons aren’t my fairy tale princes.I’m certainly … Beauty, and the two sexy, possessive, Draekons aren’t my fairy tale princes.
I’m certainly not going to wake up, kiss them, and live happily ever after on this stupid prison planet, where everything’s out to kill me.
Not happening.
Not even if they heal me from my injuries and nurse me back to health.
Not even if they protect me, care me, and keep me safe.
Not even if their abs could grace the cover of every men’s fitness magazine back home.
Sleeping Beauty isn’t going to kiss her Draekons. She’s going to find a way back home.
Draekon Fire is the second book in the Dragons in Exile series. It’s a full-length, standalone science fiction dragon-shifter MFM menage romance story featuring a snarky human female, and two sexy aliens that are determined to claim their mate. (No M/M) Happily-ever-after guaranteed!more
Like the way the world and this series is expanding and evolving. Well written and full of emotion and smexy times. Looking forward to the next book.
Read this via Kindle Unlimited but still think worth your time & $$
Book 2 about Draekon Prison Planet. Brilliant continuation of the series
As in book 1, a MFM ménage since draekon dragons mate in pairs with a female, Zorahn or curiously, human. Harper wants nothing to do with the two draekons that are besotted with her, until she realises just how good life could be if she just gives in and goes with it. Another hot and steamy, draekon males are definitely not shy or prudish! The plot continues to show that not everything is cut and dried, the hopeless situation of a prison planet may not be as they all believed, though all the trapped humans are starting to think a return to Earth is probably a bad move if it was possible.
So excited I started reading this series. Book 2, Draekon fire, off to a really good start again. How can you not love Harper, she’s having her sleeping beauty moment when she accidentally brushed up against a poisonous plant. She’s been in a coma and now waking up to find herself face to face with two gorgeous alien hunks. Not only are they staring at her but are convinced she is their mate. During the book you follow Harper as she tries to catch up with everyone else since she has been in a coma. She is followed around by Dennox and Vulrux who insist on being with her. It does not take long for her walls to come down and except the two wonderful alien men who not only have protected her, loved her, and tried very hard to understand her, but also made her their mate. She has figured out she has more of life life here on this alien planet than she ever had on earth.
I enjoyed the story, and love the series, BUT the FMC Harper is annoying, she’s whiney, impatient, and self obsessed. The Draekons have the patience of a saint, and can’t do enough for her. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
I didn’t like I would like MFM books but these are great. I like the fact that they turn into dragons too. I am hooked.
Enjoyed reading
I have enjoyed this series, and so will you.
Very good addition to the series.
Raiht’vi is the daughter of in the third year of her ten year apprenticeship to becoming a scientist of Zoraht. Her path has been determined for her since the moment of her birth and she will carry out her duty. She had been put on assignment in the bottom lab. An assignment was given her in the bottom lab, not because of skill but rather as a test by her father. Her test subjects, a woman who had been kidnapped from the streets of Giflan and Dennox, a high ranking soldier who reported to the Empire. When Vulrax, third born in the Empire, comes into the lab and sees the two prisoners, both he and Dennox morph into dragons claiming the woman as their mate. Raiht’yi, being the highest ranking scientist there at the time, orders the woman prisoner shot to control the dragons. Once dead, both draekons morph back to men. Now they must be exiled. They know and have seen too much and can not be trusted.
Once again, Lee Savino has the innate ability to create a world with characters so flawlessly, they will grab hold of your imagination and keep you there until the very last page. It’s wonderful to see the main and side characters interact with each other in such a way it seems like every day conversations you don’t need to interpret or put thought into. It’s just natural.
I received this book as a gift and I am going to give my honest opinion of it.
This is the second book of the series and I have to say I was just a captured by as the first book. You don’t have to read the books in order but it would help you a little to understand some of the other characters in the story.
In this book Harper Boyd is in a comma. After her and her fellow passengers aboard the ship headed for the planet Zorahn crashed did not make it to its final destination. the one scientist Beirax changed the space craft’s trajectory and crashed them onto the Prison Planet. There is a comet field surrounding the planet that makes it virtually impossible to land on or to escape from. The Zorhan technician was killed and one of the women Janet was also killed. Leaving nine of the ten women left alive. Sofia, Rayanna, Harper, and Viola, head out to find food and water, while they put the rest of the injured women back into stasis.
While they are walking one of them warns the others not to touch the plant life because they didn’t know what was dangerous and what was safe. At that moment though that Harper tripped and her hand landed on this pinkish orange fungus on a tree. When she tried to wipe it off it left blisters on her hand and suddenly she was feeling terrible. Sofia and Raynna decided that they are going to take her back to the ship and put her into stasis, while Viola carries on. That is where her story starts and is in book 1, now back to the other women
The other Drakon’s find the women battling these awful creatures while trying to protect the unconscious Harper. They get them all back up to their mountain top before the seasons rains start and flood the low lands that they were now in.
Vulrux is the healer and the Third Born of royalty. But he was fond to have the draecon gene on the day that he went to inspect the lower levels of the scientist area. There he sees a Zorhan warrior Dennox strapped to a table and next to him is a woman also strapped to a table. Instantly both of the men transform into Dragon’s meaning that the woman is their mate. Someone gives the order and the soldiers shot and kill the woman. Once she is dead both men transform back and are sent to the prison plant.
Both Vurlrun and Dennox recognize Harper as their mate and can’t believe that they are given a second chance. The both of them however are still haunted by the fact that someone had ordered their first mate killed. Dennox a warrior had gone through what is called a mind sweep 18 times after each of his battles. It was to protect his mind form the things that he saw and had to do. He was worried that he may have done something horrible and that is why he was in being experimented on by the scientist. He was afraid that he would harm Harper, but both men also want to know who ordered the soldiers to kill their first mate.
Raiht’vi the high scientist that was on the ship and survived helped them men to heal Harper and to save her life. But Raiht’vi is holding back secrets, a lot of them and Beirax is slightly unhinged. When Harper comes too she is shock to learn that these two fine looking men are claiming to be her mates. She has a lot to learn about this new way of life and about these men. Doubts arise at times, and uncertainties, towards the end it is a world wind of evets that take place. It is really exciting at the same time thrilling. This is really a great book.
I like it. More questions than answers in this one, that’s for sure. The ending was a doosy and with only one human female left, it makes me wonder if everything will be wrapped up in the next book. One thing for certain this series has been one wild ride.
Wow this series keeps getting better with each book. Love the connection between both MC and the story plot flowed well easy to follow. I stayed up late just to finish the book. Great sexy love scene couldn’t put this book down.
Great book. I would definitely recommend it.
Funny, quick read. Interesting world. Great characters, makes me want to read more in the series.
Loved the storyline and the development of a loving, passionate relationship between three people.
fun read
The second book in the series and it start right off where the first book left off. This story focusses on Harper, Dennox and Vulrux. I loved how book showed and slowly revealed more of the characters and their story and what makes them act a certain way. We also get more background into the Dreakon world and the book ends with a setup for the next book.
I loved the interaction between the characters and there are plenty of sparks flying around. And who doesn’t love dreakons. I look forward to the next book in the series.
