PRAISE FOR ‘THE SIX’
“A fast-paced and thrilling plot, The Six is a breathtaking and intense ride, and is filled with twists and turns which kept my heart in my mouth!” Brenda Telford, Goodreads reviewer & librarian
“This is a very clever and original plot with many surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat.” Carolyn, Goodreads reviewer
“It’s a scary, creepy, twisty tale full of mind bending secrets around every corner and nothing is as it seems!” Li’l Owl, Goodreads reviewer
“This book was beyond terrifying and yet the storyline sucked me in so completely that I would lose total track of time lost in a Greek island.” Julie.A.Powell, Goodreads reviewer
“At the end, I was shocked how it all tied together and how it ended for everyone. This is exactly how a psychological thriller should be done.” Megan Miller, Goodreads reviewer
“This book started off with some desperate addicts (spanning a large range of all different kinds of addictions) from all over the world being chosen to compete in six challenges. These take place at a monastery for a week on an island in Greece, all expenses paid and $10k prize money for each challenge day to the winners. Sinister and mysterious people & events overshadow the pleasant surroundings, however, and the suspense didn’t let up! Couldn’t put it down!” Jessica George, Goodreads reviewer

I gave up after the first few chapters. Too creepy and unbelievable for my taste. Sorry. I cannot give a complete review since I don’t know how the middle and end may have improved the book.
Too much about this book was hard to believe. Far-fetched.
This story is amazing! The book just has a few disappointing errors that bummed me out, or it would be 5 stars.
Dark but a good read. Great scene description painted in shades of gray.
I could barely force my self to put the book down and go to sleep. As it was, I read the entire thing in two sittings. Amazon reviews have two camps of readers who loved it or hated it. I mostly loved it; the story gripped me right away. The book progresses in groups of three chapters, each narrated by a different leading character. I usually dislike this writing style, but in this case, it provided more depth and backstory that worked very, very well. Finding the story line intriguing and wanting to know what happened next kept me going. The last 20% of the book did get pretty unrealistic, though, and it was really hard to swallow…hence 4 stars instead of five. But I was already hooked, so finished it without any regrets!
Good concept, good writing but towards the ending , downward spiral
Didn’t work for me at all.
Too unrealistic and farfetched for me.
10 chapters in and nothing is happening
This book was truly horrible!
Very slow paced and not a good story line.
Gory and gruesome as the cult torture and sacrifices became clearly evident.
I would not recommend this book to anyone!
The author may have had a good idea for a story but was sunk by a lack of writing skill. Every character feels like just a bunch of words on a page and completely unrealistic. Also? Americans don’t use Australian slang or take Australian pharmaceuticals.
Not my favorite book. A lot of it seemed redundant because of the way the book was structured. It could have been much shorter.
This book was pretty weird, I really thought it would be better. It did seem to drag on and on. Just seemed far fetched to me.
