Very well written with Bold and discriptive characters. You will find lots of action and adventure, it will quickly pull you in and not let you go until the very end. I hope there is more to come in this series
I love this story the immediate intense connection between Steph and Torin. Getting more insight into Aklia and Sable and this mad doctor. Can’t wait for book 3.
this book was really great! she is a top real estate lawyer who doesnt take crap from anyone. he walks into her office needing her help. only he might just be giving her help. her past has come back for her. read to find out what happens.
Really liked this sequel, it’s got danger, snark, secrets, and hot men. Akila and Sable to make a couple of appearances, and it makes sense as the danger to shifters spreads and Sable is the one with knowledge of what is going on. You also get more on Akita and Sable’s relationship and the trouble they’re having dating long distance. Of course that doesn’t take away from Torin’s story. He’s got problems and an attorney in danger just adds to them. Stephanie is determined to not take any flack from overbearing men, and she sticks to her guns! However, Torin is just as determined to protect her so she can help save his land and he takes over anyway. There is adult content and violence.
Torin and Steph’s story includes continuation of Akila and Sable’s story and I loved that. This is an amazing series. Looking forward to more.
Torin needs help to prevent his land from being taken. Stephanie isn’t sure what to make of the gruff man who walks into her office. Why are men sometimes rude to women they are meant to be with? Stephanie may find out if she doesn’t kill him first.
Book 2 of this series has Torin and Stephanie meeting at her law office. We are never told who is trying to take over or destroy the land he and his pack live on. This book all so brings in more elements of Sable and Akila from book 1. Their story is continued here in book 2 which was good. I will say that Akila is winey and she is not a favorite of mine. Stephanie is rude and bossy yet she is fragile and caring so you have to get to know her a little bit in this book.. There are so many unanswered questions left hanging in book 2. I love series books but I am not a fan of cliff hangers to get you to by more books. I do like this story so I may continue on.
I was hoping for a great book 2 in the Dark Sentinels series and I wasn’t disappointed when I read it. Seeing Torin and Stephanie’s first meeting was interesting when 2 strong characters see each other. But is was fun watching them come together even through all the stuff going on in their lives. Plus Sable and Akila being in this book made it even better for me since I was wondering what was happening after the end of book 1. Great book, great story, characters, and it’s never boring. Of course there are questions that need to be answered but that makes me really excited about the next book. (otherwise I’m going to go crazy if there isn’t one )
While reading this review, keep in mind that this review is entirely my own opinion.
I feel like none of these books honestly will end on a complete and solid note. There’s still issues left after this book that were never mentioned again until it seemed as if the author felt it needed to be addressed. Like Torin’s stepfather Kade is still missing. It would’ve been interesting/nice to know why he was separated from the rest of the kidnapped wolves. The land developer who is so interested in buying Torin’s land…why did they want it and why? What was the big deal about bringing this up in the story if it wasn’t really that big of a part to the story?
I wish there either would’ve been like a little novella or maybe even more interaction between Torin and Sable about the issues the packs have with Mr. Morris and his experiments. He’s obviously been taking more wolves since the first book and they’ve found more compounds and have found out more information about the guy, but I guess the reader is just suppose to assume this. While on the topic of Torin and Sable interaction, I also wish we would’ve gotten to see maybe a conversation between the two on the topic of having human mates.
A thrilling feisty shifter romance. I enjoyed the characters and loved the fast paced of the story. I enjoyed seeing the previous characters from the last book in this one as well.
I just loved this unique story about some special werewolves. Has strong and likeable characters, especially Akila & Sable, our heroine and hero. This story pulls you in from start to finish – couldn’t put it down until I was done! Has action, suspense, humor and hot romance. Highly recommend this e-book and I have purchased the second e-book which I can’t wait to read. Advise this e-book for 18 and over audiences.
