I’m going to say what I said about the four previous books in The Spiral Bliss series. Simply beautiful and stunning storytelling. I didn’t think it was possible for Nina Lane to come up with more interesting stories about Dean and Liv. But she did and to perfection.
Why I fell in love with this series were the characters and their struggles. They felt realistic and so did their actions and emotions.
Dean and Liv have had their obstacles in their relationship and now marriage. In Adore both Liv and Dean has to figure out, how to share each other with world. They also have a two year old son now and that’s also creating problems. But only in the bedroom department.
It was so interesting to see how they were both handling being a parent and the responsibility that comes with it. Also how a child birth effects Liv’s libido and how Dean chose to deal with that. Also Dean gets a very impressive job offer, that gives Liv her own doubts and struggles.
Again these issues felt so realistic and I loved that. Dean and Liv’s love and connection is so unbelievably strong that I had no doubts, that whatever they were dealing with they would pull through it.
I loved that I got see some new sides to Dean and Liv. They are both very sexual people and need to show their love and affirmation through sex. When that becomes one of the least things on Liv’s mind, due to have been giving birth and work, Dean has to take control and he does. This was such an intense and very erotic side to Dean. I loved how aware and considerate he was of Liv. Also how she flourished under Dean’s touch. There’s simply so much heat and love between these amazing people. They really fix each other when they are in need.
Liv and Deans journey has been one I’ve really enjoyed because I feel like I know them. That they’re real people. Thanks to the author. Nina Lane has from book one taken her time to create these strong and vivid characters. Not just Dean and Liv but also Kelsey, Allie and I could go on. I’ve gotten a relationship with them. I care about them tremendously. This series has been a beautiful and captivating experience. I don’t now what the future holds for Dean and Liv but hopefully I can read about it in another book. Here’s to hoping.

I am a HUGE fan on Nina’s writing style. It’s so easy to get sucked in and not ever want to put the book down! That being said, I had to take breaks from this book due to it hitting home a little too much. It is the struggle of so many people with busy lives to lose touch with your significant other. You get too busy to see them as the person you fell in love with, and instead see them as the person who didn’t do the dishes. I love that we get a look into Dean and Liv’s struggle in this area. We get to see both character’s struggle with their lack of intimacy. I found Dean to be a little too obsessed with Liv at times, and not realistic. It’s all about how amazing she is and how much he wants her. I think that if we were inside a real man’s head, there would be more frustration outward instead of inward. At times I wanted to shake Liv and her inability to say ‘no’ to any situation. I loved Allie’s reaction to things going wrong. I was rooting her on! She was the common sense in this book at times with the business. It showed Liv’s struggles and her evolution into the ,”I can do everything” attitude very well. I think control-freak mentality is something that many women have to do to keep all of the ball in the air. The balls come crashing down eventually too. There were hot scenes and flashbacks as well as very realistic mother struggle moments. This book really shined a light on real-life issues after the fairytale meeting of two people who love each other. Finding their way despite these character flaws and pressures of family and work in something that was almost too real at times. This book is an amazing part of this series! I immediately read the last book of the series afterward ALWAYS.
