I have never read a book that made me root for the hero and heroine more. Never have I wanted the happily ever after to be real for them, to find a meaningful, honest to goodness fairytale ending—yet when the sweet and talented computer programmer Anna suffers from an almost all-consuming OCD and her handsome work friend Matt learns he has a debilitating disease that will rob him of his life as he knows it, believe me, I could not envision a happy resolution for anyone, let alone a romance. But author Annabelle Costa weaves a colorful, honorable and clever tale of the most unlikely of love stories that makes it seem not unlikely at all—and made me question why I thought love wouldn’t triumph after all.
“Crazy in Love” is a masterpiece and already I am a dreamcasting who should play whom in the movie. Every once in awhile, a book comes along that lingers with me, makes me wonder about the characters for days… This is such a book! Read this. Sooner than later.
This is not a typical romance story. This is a very long and deep study of a man developing MS and a woman with severe mental issues. Both are coworker programmers. It is spread over at least 7 years as initially both of their illness progress … and then how she finally starts recovery which finally allows her to be there for him as his continues to progress. This is not light reading. It is a good study of the effects of both diseases.
Cute story about two characters who struggle through what life has thrown at them… you do sort of feel glad with the sweet relationship they build.
Unusual love story that deals with mental health issues in a compassionate way.
This is an awesome book. Loved it.
I’ve never read a book like it before. I read it all in one night I couldn’t put it down.
Ok I finished it. Not my favorite.
This was a different type of story that could open your eyes to people who are a little different.
It’s a different type of romance. I learned a lot about OCD and MS and the problems these conditions have. The characters became real for me and I was cheering them on through the book hoping that they would learn to cope with the many difficulties they faced.
This was not a traditional love story. Entertaining and kept my interest from beginning to end.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. Annabelle did such a fantastic job with developing both these characters. I love everything she writes, but I have to say this sticks out as one of my favorites. Such a heartwarming read. Once I started reading I could not put it down. The way that she portrays her lead female with OCD was done beautifully. She did such a great job of really making the reader understand Anna and how debilitating this condition can be. Very impressive how she tackled such a touch subject and still managed to keep the the book balanced with appropriate humor. There were several times I laughed out loud and other times it moved me to tears. It’s the kind of book that makes you feel so much. I highly recommend this book. Read it. Read it NOW.

I Love This Book! This Will Be In My ‘Keeper’ Folder Forever!
What a riveting story! I couldn’t put it down and read it all in one day. This depicts OCD (Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder) better than anything I have read. The actions/re-actions of all of those around Anna are absolutely on the mark. This also depicts the progress of MS in a realistic and believable way. The actions/re-actions of those around Matt are also absolutely spot on. I would give this a PG-13 because of the mature situations. There is some sex and the ‘F’ word, but it is integral to the believability of the story. This is the first time I have read a book with alternating points of view. It took some time to get used to it, but I do think it enhanced the story. It has been a few days since I finished this book and I am still re-hashing it (a sure sign of a book to keep)
