Annabel and Derrick are a delightful couple that balance each other and appreciate the strengths and weaknesses in each other. Annabel is caring and has the life experience to be able to “handle” the strong, protective Derrick. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty, but has the eye of an artist. Derrick likes that Annabel is no wilting flower and he is looking forward to their life together.
Once again Ms. Deliecki delivers strong characters, intrigue and sprinkles of humor. This was a pleasant visit with some old friends and a couple of fiends that also serves to bridge to more stories, adventure and intrigue. A WEDDING CODE helped to bring down a villain we have disliked from the start of the series. While it did not eliminate him, I think it has made him more dangerous, which from this reader’s standpoint is fantastic- oh the havoc he can wreak! Ms. Delecki has the ability to weave this villain into fabulous stories that have never disappointed. We have also been given a glimpse into a new future romance. I look forward to seeing where Ms. Delecki takes us in this series, the loose ends have me wringing my hands in anticipated glee!
