This story…my heart…! If you want a romance that will give you all the feels, this is the one for you. LeAnn is still living in the grief and guilt of her husband’s death. She feels guilt that he sacrificed himself to save her. She tries to move on, but she can’t. The only thing that brings her happiness and makes her feel confident is dancing. She decides to go on a cruise to enjoy life and meets Brandon. Their love for dance brings them together. But LeAnn guilt tries to hold her back. Brandon is there to show her there is life and love after heartache. She just has to allow it. These narrators were the perfect LeAnn and Brandon. I really felt they were these characters! A must read/listen for romance fans.
Loved this story!!! Second chances are one of my favorite reads and Living was an emotional sweet short story that captured my heart.
After LeAnn loses the love of her life in a tragic accident, she is left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. She is unable to move forward and the only scape she has in through her dancing. My heart goes for her and for what she had to endure.
Deciding that is time for a new beginning LeAnn decides to take a cruise with her best friend. There she mets an unexpected person that makes her feel alive again.
Brandon is the definition of hot. He is sexy but also has an amazing hearth. LeAnn makes him feel something he has never felt before.
There is a plot twist I didn’t see coming. So many emotions but this story is truly amazing and you need to read it to find out why.
Leann is so devastated after her husband is killed by a drunk driver. Leann survived the crash but stopped living. Her best friend Josie, who is an absolute riot, helps her find herself again and learn to live. Brandon is an amazing man who helps Leann learn to love again.
Elaine Marie writes such a heartfelt story that had me laughing and crying. My emotions were all over the place but I loved it. The dual narration was amazing Charley Ongel is the prefect Leann, she brought her raw emotions to life in a such a way I cried right along with Leann. Tor Thom is sexy as sin as always!
This emotional story follows a trajectory from grief and loss to reclaiming a life of love. LeAnn has lost her husband, Logan, to a drunk driving car crash and sinks into a deep depression. She is frozen in her sorrow. Her friend, Josie, convinces her to take a mystery cruise and LeAnn feels a spark of life. Running into the most gorgeous man with sapphire eyes, her story begins. Brandon can’t believe how beautiful the girl is who just ran into him, literally! He hopes he sees her again and his wish is about to be fulfilled. On the cruise, she is celebrating her birthday and the entertainment in the bar is a duo of men who know how to dance! Brandon is one of the dancers and is thrilled to see her at her table. After calling her up on stage to celebrate her birthday, the dance they share reignites feelings in LeAnn, but it’s too soon. Her guilt washes over her because she’s betraying Logan, isn’t she? She feels alive when she dances with Brandon but she alternates between guilt and pleasure. Decisions have to be made so she searches her heart. The pace and the mood are done so well and the ending is just as it should be…beautiful!
To date I have to say this is my favorite book by Elaine Marie. I can relate to this storyline, I know her pain how hard it is to move on, how brave it was for her to get on that ship and not forget but take that step into the unknown life ahead.
Tor and Charley did a fantastic job telling this story.
This is a wonderful, wonderful story! It’s about learning moving on. I enjoyed the characters. They were fun and flirty. I was floored at the beginning to this! I couldn’t believe what happened. Then to move forward from that would be tough. I commend LeAnn. She struggles but does an amazing job of living again. Chip and Dale, whom she meet on the ship add a lot to this story. Josie, her BFF, was a super add to the story. She was everything LeAnn struggles to be. I was easily entranced with all of these characters and their story.
I listened to this on audio and can I just say…I LOVE these two narrators! Tor Thom has such a sexy voice and Charley Ongel is perfect for the girls. She adds the right about of feeling into the read. Love them both!
