If you love Maeve Binchy, you’ll love this author! Also set in Ireland with wonderful characters. I’ll be reading all her books now!!
A great character driven story, very much in the style of Maeve Binchy! Hard to put down!
I couldn’t put this book down, and it’s a long one. My one disappointment is that the main characters’ declaration of love was off-scene. I waited through hundreds of pages for them to realize they loved one another, then the author took care of it in a paragraph. Then to kill off a beloved character so Nell couldn’t have the wedding on the island?! Was they necessary? Not satisfying at all, but still, a wonderful writer.
