Never settle down. Ever. Workaholic Lanie Rogers lives a completely nomadic lifestyle. Her job keeps her on the move, and relationships are a complication she doesn’t need. That is, until she meets Mr. Tall, Dark, and Hotness at a pre-wedding party. Complicated? Maybe. But lately, Lanie’s life has been missing a little something—and sexy playboy Tyler Norris offers something she definitely … Norris offers something she definitely can’t refuse.
Tyler has always been a little too popular with women for his own good. Ever since he and his buddies vowed to remain bachelors, Tyler figured he was safe from temptation. Lanie and her gorgeous brown eyes are about to prove him so, so wrong. With one kiss, the heat is intense. After one night, it’s pure combustion. It was supposed to be a no-strings fling—until these two commitment-phobes each discover the one undeniable exception to their rule.
Denise Grover Swank’s USA Today bestselling Bachelor Brotherhood series: Only YouUntil YouAlways Youmore
I immediate got pulled in to this book.
Hot playboy but him meeting his match in a workaholic woman. This had many laugh out loud moments while it was still intriguing, sexy and romantic.
As fun with any series you get to see continued story of the characters in the first book but getting so much in these two characters. The chemistry between the two was great, again funny and suspenseful.
What happens when “never wants a commitment Lanie” means “never wants a commitment Tyler” at Lanie’s best friend’s pre-wedding party? Sparks flying, crazy antics that left me laughing and Tyler with a few stitches. Trying not to let the bride-to-be see the sparks is another story in itself. Really liked this book and will be reading the others in the series. If they are as good as this one, oh boy!
Until You by Denise Grover Swank features the story of Laine Rogers. She is too engrossed and wrapped up in her work to have time for a man. But at her friends wedding shower, she meets a man named Tyler who might change her mind altogether. Both are scared of commitment, and Tyler is a set proclaimed playboy. Will either of them let their guard down far enough to fall in love? I was on the edge of my seat hoping things would work out for this sweet couple. Another light, and comical read in the Bachelor Brotherhood series. Any book that can keep me laughing is highly recommended!
I loved the continuation of the story line from the first book. Lanie and Tyler are just about the cutest couple ever! Their chemistry is fantastic! I love the little jabs and the comedy in this book. I like light hearted books, and this is exactly what I needed right now! I’m so glad they ended up together! I can’t wait to see what the next book has in store for them all.
Lanie and Tyler weren’t looking for romance although high were having thoughts of settling down. They met at a shower leading up to her cousin and his best friend’s wedding. Watching them recognise their feelings and hoping they would see what I saw before she had to leave town.
I was caught up immediately and had a hard time putting it down until the end
This book is great but drove me crazy! Why can’t people just admit their feelings to each other? Despite the back and forth, this book had me laughing out loud, literally! Steaming in some scenes, funny in other, this book has everything! Great series!
Totally loved this 2nd book of the series. You can not go wrong reading this series. Give it a try along with all of the other Denise Grover Swank books.
I love this book! Denise did such an amazing job, just like always! You can really put yourself right into the story and you feel like you’re really there with Denise’s books and this one is no different.
Tyler has had bad luck when it comes to girls, so he’s sworn them off for a while. Lanie doesn’t have time for a serious relationship, she’s always moving around for work and doesn’t get much time in each new location. Tyler is a groomsman in his friend’s wedding and Lanie just so happens to be a bridesmaid in the same wedding. But will they be able to be the person they need to be to find true happiness?
You’ll really enjoy this book…it has a little bit of everything all wrapped into one amazing book!
Until You is the second in the Bachelor Brotherhood series and I’m super excited to hear Tyler’s story. A known womanizer with penchant for picking some doozies, Tyler is totally onboard with his buddies, Kevin and Matt, when they decide to swear off women. Lanie on the other hand is a workaholic that goes wherever the job takes her and men are the last thing on her mind. But when they’re paired together for Lanie’s cousin’s wedding sparks fly and their chemistry is on fire.
Denise is an amazing author and I haven’t come across anything from her that I haven’t truly loved and enjoyed!
What a great love story. Tyler and Lanie’s story was filled with twists and turns all the way until the end. Tyler and Lanie are definitely a fun couple. They have a great dynamic that keeps you wanting everything to work out. I am excited to read about Matt’s Bachelor Brotherhood journey.
Everything in Lanie Rogers life revolves around her work, she is constantly on the phone handling one job related task or another, or spending late hours at the job site, which means her personal life is almost non-existent. Not that she has time in her busy schedule for love anyway, but that doesn’t stop her cousin Brittany from constantly trying to set her up or get her to ditch work to have a little fun. With her cousins wedding approaching she knows she needs to ease up on her work schedule and make an attempt to spend time with her family, but she is about to close a big deal, and her boss isn’t letting up. So, she does what she always does and makes things work, but then she bumps into one of the sexiest men she has ever laid eyes on at her cousins party, and she begins to see the perks of having a little fun… and finally attempts to put work on the back burner for once. A little no strings attached between the sheets fun might just be the stress relief she needs… problem is once she has had a taste she can’t seem to let go!
The moment Tyler Norris’s eyes land on the beauty hiding out in his friends garage he knows he needs to meet her, there is something about her that draws him in. The conversation between them is easy, she understands his work life, and also struggles to make time to date, and all the hassles that go along with it. It’s as if they were perfect for one another, neither has time for a relationship, nor likes the idea of commitment, so they agree to have a little no strings fun… what can it hurt? But once things get started for these two they begin to realize there maybe more lingering between them than a night or two of fun…and neither knows what to do about it!
This was my first read from this author, and after finishing it, I can honestly say it won’t be my last! I absolutely loved this book and these well crafted characters, they charmed their way into my heart in a matter of minutes!! The story line captured my attention right away, and held on intently the whole way through. Tyler stole my heart the moment he waltzed onto the page, I am a sucker for alpha male characters who are protective and willing to do what it takes to win the girl… and I have to admit he totally won the heart of this girl! I highly recommend you pick this one up, it’s sure to put a smile on your face, and leave you with a happy heart!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.
I absolutely adored the first book in this series so when I saw this one up on NetGalley, I knew that I had to have it. I remember just being completely enamored with every single sentence in that first one. But that is not how things ended up this time.
Everything was off to a great start … in the beginning there was this one sentence about Lanie being cute when she is mad. My husband tells me the same thing and it always makes me want to simultaneously kick him in the kiwis and give him a big kiss. So I thought that this book and I were going to get along just fine.
I think that it was a culmination of different things that just didn’t work for me with this one. I didn’t really like the main character, Lanie. That’s not a good thing. I didn’t feel connected to her at all. And even though I initially kinda started to like her, that quickly changed the more pages that I read. I felt like I wasn’t able to get to know her the way that I had with Holly in the previous book. I understood what she was all about but I didn’t feel like I actually knew anything about her.
And then Tyler, Lanie’s love interest … I liked him just a tad bit more but it wasn’t enough to redeem the book for me. I really enjoyed his conflicting emotions and all of the stuff with his family but again … not enough. I didn’t smile every time his name was on the page and he didn’t make me all swoony. Usually I like the dudes that can’t make up their minds and then getting to experience reality smacking them in the face.
Then the book itself moved along slowly. If you have kids, you know what it’s like to have to drag a tired and ornery little kid out of the store because you didn’t time a shopping experience correctly and your little turd missed their nap time. That’s what reading this book felt like. I felt like the mom struggling with her suddenly jello-esque child, trying to get them out of the store and into the car so that everyone can go home and nap. I’m not entirely sure what in the world was going on with my reading experience this time. I just loved the first book so much!! Whatever it was, I couldn’t fix it. Maybe the next one will be a better fit.
* I received this novel in exchange for an honest review *
I love all of this authors books!!
