Me and trouble go together like Nutella and, well, anything.Meaning, as a team we offer no real benefit and are ultimately bad for you in the end, yet you just can’t help yourself from indulging.Yeah, hi there, my name is Stacy and I’m what some might call a miscreant. Though I’d prefer you compare me to the likes of a mischievous fairy. (Because I’m adorable and spritely and how many criminals … how many criminals can you say that about?) I mean no harm, it’s all in good fun. But some people – coughChadcough – have a hard time appreciating my good-natured, all-around lovable personality.
But on occasion, my fun becomes a little less… innocent. Like when the stick-up-his-butt police officer, whom I like to refer to as Officer McSexyPants, made an enemy in me. Tossing me in jail over a very obvious joke (because what kind of idiot legitimately tries to whore herself out to an officer in uniform, am I right?) might have sounded like a good idea at the time, but he was wrong. Oh, (cue evil laughter) he was so, so wrong.
To prepare you for this ride-along, I’ve composed a list of things you’ll need before beginning your journey: Extra undies (Because mom always said to wear clean underwear in case you were in an accident, and I foresee a lot of wreckage); A toothbrush (‘Coz I’m a dental hygienist and bad oral care habits bug me); A playlist of songs that get you pumped up for badassery (Mine is full of NSYNC – everyone knows they are the real OGs); And lastly, some pencil and paper (You’ll want to take notes for future use. Eventually it’ll be your turn to exact revenge on someone and I promise to give you good material).

Didn’t care for this book at all! Hated Stacy, the psychopath! She was so annoying! Felt bad for Chad. There was no build up to their love story, very unrealistic! There were a few demented parts in the story, a little disturbing. Had to force myself to finish it (I don’t like to leave a book unread once started). Would not recommend this book at all.
It was ok…..I do not know why but I just could not really get into it….:(
Another book I didn’t even finish reading
Not my kind of read.
Some basic writing errors, but overall entertaining and well paced.
Didn’t think I would like it, but o kept reading!
Honestly, not a big fan of Stacy. I personally cannot relate to her, but even so, I feel like her antics are a bit over the top. It gets frustrating in that it hinders her relationship with the male lead. Not that he was perfect either. I feel like the author had to resort to sensationalism in order to reconcile the two. I also feel like it’s not very plausible. I understand that we read fiction to escape reality, but the plot still needs to be based in reality which I felt that this wasn’t.
I laughed several times while reading this book
Horrible
Enjoyed the book
A lot of drama
Not worth the time to read. Too much misunderstanding each other. Tended to drag on
I have become a quick fan of Jenn Hype. She won me over with her Crazy books. I read Pressing Adalyn and was impressed even more. Hype never disappoints with her writing. In these books, Stacy has been my favorite character and I love that she got her own book. I connected with Stacy and fell in love with her & her ways. I am so looking forward to reading her other books!
Short review. The only character I liked was Chad, I was interested in his back story which is not only sad but explains why he tries to control his anger and keeps it direct inward and tries to never let out. It also explains why he’s always guarded and has a hard time letting people in and doesn’t have many friends. Chad deserved a better best friend and love interest.
There was nothing likable about Stacy, she’s obnoxious, mean by tries to act like she’s not, abrasive and determine to get what she wants NO matter what, which is supposed to be charming and funny but truly isn’t. I also didn’t like Chad’s friend Joe, he was a terrible friend to Chad who he knew longer than Stacy, throughout the story Joe showed how quickly he would drop Chad in favor of Stacy. Both Stacy and Joe annoyed me with their constant blaming everything that went wrong between Stacy and Chad on him, they both acted like Stacy could do no wrong whatsoever.
Even though I didn’t like this book I will try out other books by the author but not any that feature Stacy and Joe.
