Xan Valentine, the rock star that Rolling Stone called “sex incarnate,” stands in the spotlight every night and sings love songs to the women in the audience. They swoon. They scream. They believe him. They don’t know him like Georgie does. They’ve never seen him nearly beat two men to death until someone pulled him off. They’ve never seen the coldness in his dark eyes when he sat across a table, … They’ve never seen the coldness in his dark eyes when he sat across a table, negotiating a contract that broke their hearts.
He’s never stolen into their bedroom at night, slid into their bed, and made love to them until dawn, and he’s never treated them like it never happened while the bitemarks on their backs and thighs were still sore.
They’ve never seen him play the violin like an angel.
Or a demon.
Georgie is officially in his band now, playing the keyboards, and every concert drives the music deeper into her soul. If Georgie leaves the protection of the band and Xan Valentine, the Russian mafia will kidnap and kill her. If she stays and plays in his band for just a few more weeks, Xan will pay for her college and law school.
If her heart can survive even one more night with him.

Georgie and Xan have come to an agreement that she will stay on with Killer Valentine for 2 months. Well that may be or not? We now have Peyton entering the picture. He was Georgie’s first love and one of the people who was hurt my what her father did. The band however will need a keyboardist and he has auditioned and gotten the position but does Peyton want more?
And just what is up with Xan/Alexandre/Alex?
I have really enjoyed these books in these two series which are combined in a sense.
If you like Rockstar romance this is a great series .
I wrote this review in August 2015.
My heart bleeds for Georgie and Xan.
This is the third episode of Billionaires in Disguise: Georgie and Rock Stars In Disguise: Xan and it does end in a cliffhanger. I used to hate cliffhangers but I have come to appreciate them when authors I love write books that have them. No I pretty much just hate books that aren’t disclosed as having cliffhangers. Reading this series has been worth every cliffhanger as Blair Babylon delivers a fantastic story. I really don’t know how she manages to weave all of the BID (Rae, Lizzie, Georgie)/RID (Xan) stories together and yet each series can be read without having read the others.
Georgie is now part of Killer Valentine and has agreed to perform with them for 3 months. Xan has promised to keep her safe from the Russian mobsters that have threatened her life.
This episode introduces a new character, Peyton, Georgie’s High School sweetheart. Peyton’s character adds a new level of conflict into Georgie and Xan’s relationship. We also learn quite a bit more about the complex personalities living in the body of Xan/Alex/Alexandre.
The book blurb provides a much better synopsis than I could ever write. I just want to say that I am completely captivated by Xan and Georgie’s story and I will be waiting on pins and needles for the final installment.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review but I also purchased a copy because I loved the book.
Lay Your Hands on Me is an exquisitely breathtaking and emotionally charged continuation of the phenomenal story of Xan and Georgie. This story continues to take on a life of its own while it ravishes your entire heart. There is no break in the intense rollercoaster that are Xan and Georgie. You are fully immersed in their world, their heart, and their turmoil. Close your eyes and take a deep breath before you start because whatever breath you have left in your lungs and emotion you have remaining in your heart will be forcibly ripped out and you won’t get another chance to guard your heart or collect your thoughts.
Georgie thought she knew Xan inside and out. She was convinced that he was just an overly passionate musician who lived and breathed his job. What she didn’t understand was that there was much more to him than she ever saw or anticipated. He isn’t just another guy. The world he lives in sounds unreal, appears bazar, and borders on the manic, but the most important lesson that Xan will teach Georgie is that nothing is ever as it seems. Appearances are deceiving and if you want to figure out a person, you have to delve deeper and dare to ask the hard questions. Only then will you truly find them and in turn yourself within their eyes. Whatever you do, don’t take your eyes off the thing that keeps you grounded because if you do, you just might find yourself unraveling and flying to height you never thought possible. Will Georgie crash and burn along with Xan, or will she choose to walk away to protect them both?
The more I learn of Xan, the more I am utterly captivated and wildly delighted. He is one of the most uniquly complex and simply beautiful characters that I have read in a long time. The way he invests his heart and soul into his music, his band, and his friends is simply mind-boggling and absolutely fascinating. I am just as enthralled with him as Georgie is even if she won’t readily admit to it. Xan is an insatiable mystery wrapped in a myriad of secrets that have been preserved his entire life until she came along and colored his world with rich and exuberant tones until he could no longer deny their existence or impact on him. These two completely opposite characters find their undeniable connection to the other’s soul through their shared reverence and passion of music. Music makes their world turn and breaths life and hope into them. Without music, there is nothing but the dreary and the mundane, and what inspiration was ever found in that?!
Blair Babylon continues to hold my heart captive with her out of this world love and hunger of the written word. Few possess the complete devotion and all-consuming love to be able to write as if the ink is being bled from their own heart. Her writing takes you to a whole new plane of appreciation and fascination for this stunning art form. When I read one of her stories, I find myself drifting happily along the raging rapids of emotion and awe. I never know which side is up or down, and I could honestly care less. Don’t miss this incredible adventure that you will want to lose yourself to over and over again!
Blair has done it again. Picking up where we left off in the second book, Georgie and Xan are both in a lot of pain, but each doing what they think they need to do.
Rade has just died of an overdose, and Xan has just beat the crap out of two Russian mob goons that were trying to take Georgie by force and Grayson has been sent to rehab again. Georgie is now forced into signing a two month contract with the band for protection from the Russian mafia.
We definitely learn more about Alexandre and Georgie, regarding their pasts and how things have evolved to where they are now. What the hell happened to Alexandre when he was a child – I could feel the pain, just as Georgie did. We also see Rae pop up in this story and it picks up on where we left off with her the last time we saw her. I don’t want to give away spoilers, but I am so stoked to find out what happens with Rae and her situation AND how things pan out from the cliffhanger we have here. I will be trying to wait patiently for the next book in the series to pull everything together. Keep up the good work, Blair!

Good read. Continuing on to the fourth book. I didn’t realize that the other stories worked in to make a different order. May have to start this over with the missed stories worked in.
